Design of robust Medical Image Security Algorithm using Watershed Division Method (워터쉐드 분할 기법을 이용한 견고한 의료 영상 보안 알고리즘 설계)

  • 디지털 워터마크 기법은 음악, 영상, 동영상에 대한 저작권과 재산권의 보호 및 인증, 데이터 손실 여부 판단, 복사 방지 및 추적 등을 목적으로 한 사후 재산권의 보호 기술로 제안되었다. 본 연구에서는 워터마크의 기하학적인 왜곡에 대한 공격에 견고하게 하도록 영상의 전 처리 과정을 거친다. 그리고 선택된 기하학적인 불변점을 골라 여러 가지 영상처리에 강인하며 일정 기간 압축 저장되는 영상에서도 워터마킹이 유지되도록 워터쉐드(watershed) 분할 기법을 이용한 의료 영상 보안 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 워터마킹 알고리즘은 의료 영상에 대한 RST 공격, JPEG 압축 공격 그리고 필터링 공격보다 강인함을 확인하였다.

  • The field of medical images has been digitalized as the development of computer and the digitalization of the medical instruments. As a result it causes a lot of problems such as an illegal copy related to medical images and property right of the medical images. Therefore, digital watermarking is used for discrimination whether the data are modified or not. It is also used to protect both the property right of medical images and the private life of many patients. The proposed theories, the Non-blind and the Blind method, have two problems. One is needed an original image and the other is using a gaussian watermarking. This paper proposes the new Blind Watermarking using binary images in order to easily recognize the results of watermark. This algorithm is described that an watermark of a binary image is wavelet-transformed, and then a transformed watermark is inserted in medium-band of frequency domains of original image by the Circular Input method. The propose method presented the good performance of over 0.97 in NC.

  • In this paper, a new fragi1e watermarking algorithm for medical images is proposed. It makes possible to resolve the security and forgery problem of the medical images. In the proposed algorithm. the singularity which represents the inherent characteristic of the medical image is extracted and used as watermark. To extract the singularity point. we adopted Mallat wavelet transform because it can describe the edge of image exactly. Mallat wavelet transform produces horizontal and vertical subbands of the same resolution with the original image. The magnitude and phase components of the edge are obtained using these subbands. Based on the magnitude and phase components. LMM which will be used as watermark is determined. As LMM is the inherent singularity of image, if any forgery is applied to medical image, LMM of original and forged image are different each other Detecting the changes of LMM for the two images makes it possible whether any image is undergone forgery or not From the experimental results, we conformed that the proposed algorithm detects the forged area of the image very well.

  • 의료기기의 디지털화로인해 의료영상분야도 디지털화되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 의료영상에서 발생하는 기하학적 변형에서도 개인정보를 인증할 수 있는 디지털 워터마킹을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 디지털 영상을 주파수 공간으로 변환시킨 후 효과적인 워터마크 삽입을 위해 인간의 감지능력이 떨어지는 주파수 영역과 중요한 주파수 영역을 선택하였다. 그 다음 영상 전체에 반복적이며, 그 내용에 따라 적응적인 워터마크를 삽입하는 방법을 제시하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 가역변환 (reversible transform)에 기반을 둔 가역 워터마킹 기법에 관해 기술한다. 워터마크를 삽입한 후 원본 데이터에 영구적으로 남아있는 기존의 워터마킹 기법과는 달리 가역 워터마킹 기법의 경우, 컨텐츠의 인증이 이루어진 후 삽입되었던 워터마크 신호를 컨텐츠로부터 제거함으로써, 원 영상을 화소단위로 무손실 복원할 수 있는 특징이 있다. 본 논문에서는 가역 변환인 Haar 웨이블릿 변환(Haar Wavelet Transform) 이용하여 원 영상을 변환한 후 웨이블릿 계수를 이용하여 워터마크를 삽입 및 추출한다. 이러한 가역워터마킹 기법은 판사 목적의 영상 혹은 의료영상과 같은 민감한 영상신호처리가 요구되는 분야로 응용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 기존에 연구되어온 리버서블 워터마킹 기법은 주로 군사영상이나 의료영상에 초점을 맞추어 개발 되어왔다. 본 논문에서 제안한 리버서블 워터마킹 기법은 일반사용자를 위한 서비스에도 사용가능하다. 즉 서비스 제공업자가 돈을 지불한 사람에게는 워터마크 추출기를 제공하여 좋은 화질의 영상을 사용할 수 있게 하고 돈을 지불하지 않은 사람에게는 워터마크가 삽입되어져 있는 저화질의 영상을 제공하는 것이다. 인터넷상에서는 JPEG 압축형태의 영상들이 많이 유통된다. 본 논문에서는 JPEG 압축데이터에 워터마크를 삽입하여 리버서블 워터마크를 수행한다. 사용된 알고리즘은 삽입영역을 선정하여 Shift기법을 이용하여 워터마크 삽입하고 추출하였다. 실험결과 256*256 lena 영상을 QF 10-99사이에서 1600-2900 비트가 삽입되었고 워터마크 검출 및 복원은 완벽하게 되었다.

  • This study proposes how to insert a strong watermark creating a big change in the areas of edge and texture. While conversion by existing Fourier transformation can acquire information for all ranges of frequency domain from the image, Wavelet transformation can manipulate edge and texture area selectively. Therefore, through wavelet transformation concerned area may be selected and watermarks in copyright formation are inserted. Our proposed algorithm was compared to Xia's watermarking technique using wavelet transformation. Its fidelity and robustness were tested with attack methods used in existing papers and it turns out that the proposed algorithm using HVS properties is more superior to Xia's techniques.

  • The watermarking on medical images with wavelet packet is presented. The wavelet packet produces the enhancing the resolution from low to high band that minimize the loss on the band. The result on experiment is that PSNR is 0.1dB on image quality and PSNR is 28dB on the durability in compressed ratio 60% over. This proposal allows an enhancing and robust image to stand and oppose the distortion and modification by intention.

  • A digital watermarking technique used as a protection and certifying mechanism of copyrighted creations including music, still images, and videos in terms of lading any loss in data, reproduction and pursuit. This study suggests using a selected geometric invariant point through the whole processing procedure based on the invariant point so that it will be robust in a geometric transformation attack. The introduced algorithm here is based on a watershed splitting method in order to make medical images strong against RST transformation and other processing. This algorithm also proved that is has robustness against not only RST attack, but also JPEG compression attack and filtering attack.

This method don't have any loss when image didn't have any attack. As a result Watermark can be perfectly extracted by using this algorithm. And Maximam PSNR value is improved 3.35dB. This algorithm will be improved by using gray level image and color image.
