Duplex sonography is used widely in various medical fields because of its repeatability and low cost. In particular, the carotid duplex sonography is a useful non-invasive test for diagnosing cerebrovascular disease and predicting the prognosis. In clinical practice, it is very important to reduce the test time and improve accuracy. The patient's clinical information must be known in advance to perform carotid duplex sonography quickly and accurately. Despite this, there are often difficulties finding new cervical vascular diseases that are not mentioned in the clinical information. Therefore, knowing a variety of cases can lead to fast and accurate results. In this context, this paper reports three cases of cervical vascular disease discovered unexpectedly during carotid duplex sonography: CASE 1, internal carotid artery occlusion and cerebral arteries branched from the external carotid artery; CASE 2, internal jugular vein thrombosis; CASE 3, microembolism observed in the vertebral artery.

본 논문에서는 초음파 의료 진단기용 선형 배열 변환기의 설계 및 제작을 수행하였다. 설계시에 는 펄스 인가시의 경우 유용한 등가회로인 KLM 모델을 이용한 전산기의 모의실험을 행하였다. 설계된 변환기는 동작 주파수 3.5MHz, 길이 120mm인 변환기이며 폭은 13mm이며 8개의 부소자로 이루어진 64 개의 소자를 갖는 변환기이다. 설계, 제작된 변환기는 효율적인 에너지 전달과 광대역 특성을 갖도록 하 기 위하여 2개의 음향 정합창을 갖도록 하였으며 압전 물질의 형태에 의해 집속되도록 하였다. 제작된 변환기의 성능 비교를 위해 제작된 변환기와 상용의 변환기의 성능을 동일한 조건에서 측정하였다. 측 정결과, 제작된 변환기는 우수한 성능을 갖는 것을 확인하였으며 실제 초음파 영상진단기에 사용할 경 우 좋은 상을 얻을 수 있다.

A high-voltage highly-integrated analog front-end (AFE) IC for medical ultrasound imaging applications is implemented using standard 0.18-${\mu}m$ CMOS process. The proposed AFE IC is composed of a high-voltage (HV) pulser utilizing stacked transistors generating up to 15 Vp-p pulses at 2.6 MHz, a low-voltage low-noise transimpedance preamplifier, and a HV switch for isolation between the transmit and receive parts. The designed IC consumes less than $0.15mm^2$ of core area, making it feasible to be applied for multi-array medical ultrasound imaging systems, including portable handheld applications.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the casual relationships among purchase decision factors of medical devices, satisfaction and repurchasing intention. Data of this study is a 2012 survey on medical institutions using medical devices of MW(ministry of health and welfare) and We analyzed 116 medical institutions having ultrasound imaging system lager than general hospitals among data. For empirical analysis, we carried out confirmative factor analysis and path-analysis using AMOS 21.0 package. Main results of this study are as follows: First, brand has positive influence on satisfaction and satisfaction has positive impaction on repurchase intention. Second, although not statistically significant, performance and service have positive impaction on satisfaction and price has negative influence on satisfaction. The significance of this study is to provide empirical basis on establishment of efficient marketing strategy and enhancement of competitiveness for the medical device industry.
