A Study on the Request for Proposal & Outsourcing of Management for PACS in Kyung Hee Medical Center (경희의료원 PACS 운영관리를 위한 외주관리와 제안요청 연구)

  • PACS 유지보수 서비스의 중요성을 살펴보고 PACS 분분별 제안요청 요소를 분석하여 향후 시스템 유지보수 계약의 지표를 제공하는데 목적이 있으며 경희의료원의 PACS 유지보수 제안서요청의 사례를 중심으로 유지보수 RFP 작성의 필요성, 중요사항 및 분야별 요구사항 등에 대하여 기술한다. 제안 부문은 9 개로 구분하였으며 총 139 항목의 제안 요청 사항을 정리하였다. 제안 요소 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. PACS 유지보수 분야는 PACS Software 부문, 데이터베이스 부문, 서버 및 스토리지 부문, 네트워크 부문, CR 및 DR System 등과 같은 영상획득장치에 관한 부문, 판독용 및 임상용 모니터 부문 등으로 구분하며, 각 부문별 제안 요구사항을 기술한 제안요청서를 작성하여 각 부문별 제안서를 요청하여야 한다. 2. 병원에서는 PACS 부문의 외주관리를 체계적으로 구분 관리하여 시스템 유지보수의 수준을 높이고 이를 질 높은 의료서비스로 연계되도록 하여야 한다. 3. PACS 관련 회사는 병원에서 요청된 제안 요청사항을 수용하며 질 높은 관련부문 서비스를 제공하기위한 기술적 배경을 체계화하여야하며 향후 주요 매출원으로 자리 잡게 될 유지보수 서비스를 상품으로 인식하고 이에 대한 적극적인 상품화전략과 홍보 노력이 필요하다.

The Effect of Waiting Time on a Hospital Image (한국 종합병원 이미지에 관한 연구 -대기시간 요인을 중심으로-)

  • The study on waiting time has been conducted from the psychological perspective since Maister (1985). In using medical institutions, especially general hospitals, it is not avoidable to wait for a long time. As a result, the waiting time gives clients psychological stress, which causes medical consumers to be more dissatisfied and decreases their rate of revisit. Accordingly, it is very urgent to study on the waiting time for hospitals' marketing and better image-making. This study is intended to find out how hospitals image and clients revisit is influenced by waiting environment and consumers' attitude, variables of waiting time perceived in medical services. Based on this study, those medical institutions are required to improve their medical service and waiting environment. Accordingly, they should convert waiting time into more efficient and comfortable recess and provide better environment for physical service and effective human services. As those medical institutions have relatively worse image than other businesses, they should actively study on ways of better image-making in the future.

  • 근대화시대에는 사람의 장거리 이동이 가능해지고 여러 병원에서 진료를 받을 수 있게 됨에 따라, 병원 간에 개인의료정보의 공유 및 교환이 요구되고 있다. 현재 병원들은 서로 다른 의료정보시스템을 사용하여 의료정보를 관리한다. 이에 환자가 병원을 바꿀 시에 해당 환자의 의료정보를 문서로 보내거나 의료정보를 1:1 방식으로 직접 전송해야 한다. 동일하지 않은 의료정보시스템의 경우에는 의료정보형식이 달라서 의료정보를 직접 변환하는 과정도 포함하여 의료정보를 전송해야 한다. 이처럼 기존 비표준 의료정보시스템과 표준 의료정보시스템들은 의료정보 구조가 동일하지 않다. 즉, 시스템 상호간의 원활한 정보 교환의 필요성과 환자의 타 병원으로의 이송, 원격진료 서비스, 기타 의료정보 공유에 대한 필요성이 증가함에 따라 의료정보통합관리시스템의 개발과 인터넷을 통한 통합검색 및 교환을 위한 적절한 대안이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 방식의 의료정보시스템 간의 의료정보 교환 및 통합을 위해 XML을 활용한 의료정보 통합 관리 시스템을 제안한다.

The Medicare Service Facility Location Problem (의료서비스시설 입지문제)

  • Health has been seen as a resource necessary for both maintaining oneself and for living in a society pursuing high quality of life. Therefore, the medicare provision takes place of one of the most significant indexes for evaluating the regional welfare level. The purpose of this study is to investigate the locational characteristics of medicare service facilities. For the purpose, the distribution patterns of the medicare resources are analyzed both at the regional and local scales. The medicare resources are concentrated at the Metropolitan Seoul area in the regional scale, and they are also concentrated at the economic core areas in the local scale. Especially, higher level medicare resources, such as the general hospitals and medical specialists, show more concentration at the economic core areas than lower level services. This means that access to opportunities to receive higher level medicare is poorer in a more socially disadvantaged area. Since medicare service facilities are invested and operated by both private and public sectors, whose locational mechanisms are deferent, we analyzed the distribution patterns. Most medicare facilities are invested and managed by private sector in Korea, which is operated by market mechanism. This is related with the fact that the medicare facilities are concentrated at the economic core areas. The proportion of private sector is higher in the Metropolitan Seoul area, and thus this region shows stronger spatial disparity of medicare provision. In general, the medicare service facilities are located in the hierarchical structure, and thus the services levels and facility scales are differentiated by the hierarchy. We examined the hierarchical structure in the medicare service facilities in Korea. The referral medicare system has been applied with the assumption of the three level hierarchical structures in Korea. However, we could not find any distinct hierarchical structure in the scales of the medical service facilities.

Study on Dental Care need of the Rural Residents (일부 농촌지역주민의 치과의료요구도에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted to analyze the dental care need and related factors of the rural residents. An interview and questionnaire survey was carried out for 524 people who lived in Seongju-gun county of Gyeongsangbukdo, from July 28 to August 8, 2002. The summarized results are as follows: 1. The rate of persons who experienced the oral disease was 52.5 per 100 persons during 1 year and it was highest in the age group of 40-49. Therefore the rate of persons who had experienced the oral disease was significantly higher the younger peoples, worse oral health status and being of the regular treatment source than the other groups. 2. Dental care user was 52.5 per 100 persons during 1 year 3. Yes or no of The dental care need was significant to age, the subjective oral health status, necessity of regular oral health examination 4. Perceived dental need of the Rural Residents was supplement 64%, dental caries 30.0%, peridontal disease 21.0%, extraction 15.7%, sensitive tooth 7.9%, and so on 1.9%.

  • With mobile computing, wireless sensor network and sensor technologies, ubiquitous computing services are being realized and could satisfy the feasibility of ubiquitous healthcare to everyone. This u-Healthcare service can improve life quality of human since medical service can be provided to anyone, anytime, and anywhere. To confirm the vision of u-Healthcare service, we've implemented a healthcare system for heart disease patient which is composed of two components. Front-end collects various signals such as temperature, blood pressure, SpO2, and electrocardiogram, etc. As a backend, medical information server accumulates sensing data and performs back-end processing. To simply transfer these sensing values to a medical team may be too trivial. So, we've designed a model based on context awareness for more improved medical service which is based on artificial neural network. Through rigid experiments, we could confirm that the proposed system can provide improved medical service.

  • 최근 들어 헬쓰케어 서비스나 웨어러블 컴퓨터 등에 대한 연구가 진행됨에 따라 몸에 장착된 디바이스들을 무선으로 연결하기 위한 WBAN기술이 주목을 받고 있다. 향후 네트워크 환경은 개인의 다양한 생체정보 등을 기반으로 최적의 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하는 IT-BT-NT 융합서비스 환경으로 진화할 것이므로 WBAN기술의 활용성은 더욱 높아질 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 안전한 WBAN환경 구축을 위해서 발생이 예상되는 보안 이슈를 분석하고 이를 해결하기 위한 보안 요구사항을 제안하였다.

  • As modern people's needs to be healthy and beautiful are increasing, medical skin care industry is growing both in quantity and quality. Therefore, this study investigated job demand and the moderating effect of job resource in employees who provided medical skin care services and the effects of job demand and job specialty on job satisfaction. The subjects of the study were medical estheticians in Gwangju City and Jeonnam Province and were interviewed with the use of a questionnaire. The data was analysed using SPSS 21.0 and a frequency analysis, a factor analysis, a reliability analysis, a correlation analysis were conducted and the results are presented as follows: The results are presented as follows: First, as for job demand, only cooperation had the moderating effect of job resource. Second, when the effect of job resources on medical skin care specialty was inspected, it was discovered that cooperation and equipment application had a positive effect on the specialty. Third, when the effect of job demand and specialty on job satisfaction was inspected, it was discovered that job tension had a negative effect on satisfaction and workload and specialty had a positive effect on satisfaction.

The patient satisfaction of medical services and the revisiting intention in a public hospital (일개 공공병원의 의료서비스 만족도와 재이용의사에 관한 연구)

  • The aim of this study was to provide the basic data for the betterment of public medical services. A questionnaire survey on the quality of the services and the intention of revisiting the hospital was administered to 330 patients in a public hospital located in Seoul. The mean satisfaction of hospital medical services was 4.11, whereas that of the revisiting intention was 3.94. The relationship between the satisfaction of medical services and the intention of revisiting was significant (t=11.335, p<.001). The intention of revisiting increased with increasing satisfaction of medical services of a hospital. Therefore, to enhance satisfaction, a hospital should identify the needs of people looking for a public hospital, increase rapport with the neighboring communities, and provide public amenities.

  • IT융합기술인 U-Healthcare 서비스는 건강관리, 질병 예방, 사후관리 등 필요한 의료 서비스를 의료기관외의 장소에서 언제 어디서나 서비스를 제공받을 수 있다는 점에서 각광을 받고 있다. U-Healthcare 서비스에서 다루는 대다수의 정보는 개인정보 중에서도 민감한 개인의 건강정보를 포함하고 있어 개인정보보호에 대한 사회적 요구가 높아지는 시점에서 유출에 대한 피해 우려는 더 커지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 U-Healthcare 서비스에서 개인정보를 보호받을 수 있는 보안 요구사항을 도출해낸다. 이 연구를 통해 U-Healthcare 서비스의 보안 수준을 향상 시키고 일반 개인정보보다 피해가 큰 개인건강정보의 유출을 예방한다.
