There are various kinds of applications for wireless sensor network, and each application has difference requirements such as throughput. Topology control is the key issue to minimize energy consumption by solving communication collision and radio interference. However, existing topology control algorithms cannot support application requirement because communication efficiency and network connectivity are the main issues of topology control. In this paper, we propose a topology control algorithm that support throughput requirement of an application.

Currently, with rapid progress and supply of mobile communication technology, LTE(Long Term Evolution) technology is expanded and widely used to industrial and emergency communications beyond earlier smart-phone based service. In this paper, transmission performance of voice traffic, one of railway communication service based on LTE-R as an application field of LTE technology, is analyzed. This study is performed performance analysis with level of application service and consider effects of satisfaction level for users. Computer Simulation based on ns(Network Simulation)-3 is used for analysis and VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) specification is used for voice traffics. Results of this paper is used to implement LTE-R networks and develope application services over LTE-R network.

This paper proposes a UQoSM (User Qualify of Service Middleware) framework for multimedia application systems. UQoSM system is extended the existing event service model added to the event monitoring, reflective event filtering and event dispatcher for supporting multimedia application systems. Especially, this paper is concentrated on providing suitable reflective event filtering function for multimedia application service system in order to meet various user requirements under inter-based environment. It means this system provides high QoS to users. In addition, it results in decreasing network traffic as unnecessary event information is filtered from network.

인스턴트 메시징(Instant Messaging: IM) 서비스는 인터넷 또는 IP 네트워크상에서 온라인 상태에 있는 사용자들간에 간단한 메시지를 주고 반을 수 있는 서비스이다. Presence 서비스는 통신을 원하는 사용자들의 온라인 상태 및 최신의 위치 정보를 제공함으로써 IM 서비스와 같은 Presence 정보를 기반으로 하는 다른 응용 서비스와 연계하여 활용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 Presence 서비스와 IM 서비스를 통합한 시스템을 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)를 기반으로 하여 구현하였다. SIP는 텍스트 기반의 호설정을 처리하는 프로토콜로서 혜더 부분의 확장을 통해 다른 응용 서비스에 쉽게 적용이 가능한 장점을 가지고 있다. 구현된 시스템에서 Presence 서비스의 Presence 정보는 XML로 인코드된 CPIM(Common Presence and Instant Messaging) PIDF(Presence Information Data Format) 포맷으로 하여 처리하였고 IM 서비스는 페이저 모델(Pager Model)로 구현하였다 또한 시스템 내에서 필요한 보든 인증 처리 부분을 RFC 2617에 정의되어 있는 HTTP 다이제스트 인증을 사용하여 보안기능을 높였다.

모바일 웹 서비스는 기존의 웹 환경에서 제공되는 서비스들을 무선인터넷 환경에서도 도입하기 위한 서비스 기술이다. 모바일 웹 서비스 기술은 모바일 사용자의 능동적이며 지능적인 서비스 요구사항을 지원하며, 차세대 지능형 유무선 연동 서비스 시스템 설계를 위해 요구된다. 현재, 기존의 모바일 및 웹 서비스 기술은 다양한 종류의 플랫폼, 프로토콜, 어플리케이션 및 데이터 포맷을 기반으로 동작하며, 동종 시스템간에 서비스를 제공한다고 볼 수 있다. 또한, 모바일서비스 기술은 모바일 단말의 하드웨어 성능 및 무선네트워크 특성 등을 고려한 설계가 필요하며, 웹 서비스 기술과 연동을 위한 다양한 인터페이스 기술이 요구된다. 본 고에서는 모바일 웹 서비스를 지원하기 위해 요구되는 기술 중 응용 프로토콜 기술에 대해서 W3C(World Wide Web Conference) 및 OMA(Open Mobile Alliance) 표준단체에서 언급하는 프로토콜의 주요 특징들을 간략히 소개하였다.

최근 웹서비스의 사용은 메시지 수준의 상호운용성 및 시스템 통합의 용이성으로 인해 빠르게 확장되고 있다. 웹서비스 기반 응용 또는 웹서비스는 다른 웹서비스를 선택하여 이용하게 된다. 이러한 웹서비스의 선택은 정적으로 이루어지므로 신규 웹서비스에 대한 생성 및 서비스에 대한 상태 변화가 지속적으로 이루어지는 환경에서 최적의 서비스 결정 및 선택은 전체 응용의 성능에 영향을 미치게 된다. 웹서비스 사용자 간의 신뢰성과 안정성을 제공하기 위해서는 품질 정보를 유지하기 위한 하부 구조에 대한 확장이 필요하며, 품질 정보가 추가된 웹서비스에 대한 정보에 대한 정의 및 수집이 이루어져야 한다. 이 논문에서는 웹서비스의 품질요소에 대한 정형화된 정의를 기술한다.
