  • 정보통신 기술의 발전으로 정보의 획득, 관리, 활용이 용이해지며 글로벌 네트워크의 구성이 가능해졌다. 글로벌 경쟁의 심화로 경영환경의 불확실성이 증가에 대응하기 위해 기업의 e-비즈니스화가 보편화되면 기업간의 협업이 증대되었다. 협업 네트워크(Collaborative Networks)는 사회적 자본과 목적의 관점에서 대부분 자동화되고, 지리적으로 분산되어 있으며, 컴퓨터 네트워크를 토대로 공통 목표를 성취하기 위해 협력하는 다양한 참여자로 구성되는 네트워크라 할 수 있다. 가상기업은 협업 네트워크의 대표적인 개념으로 시장기회의 대응성을 높이기 위해 상호보완적인 핵심역량을 가진 참여자들의 네트워크이다. 본 연구는 가상기업의 주요 특징을 고찰함으로써 가상기업의 개념을 구체화시키고 가상기업의 성공요인과 위험요인을 도출하고 각 요인간의 상대적 중요도 및 순위화를 통해 가상기업 참여기업의 가이드라인으로 활용하고자한다.

  • 그리드[1, 2]는 많은 응용분야에서 보다 효율적인 실험을 위한 컴퓨팅 자원들을 제공한다. 응용연구자들은 지리적으로 분산되어 있는 각 자원들과 서비스를 사용하기에 앞서 사용자 인증과 자원의 사용권한에 대한 인증과정을 거쳐야 한다. 아이디와 패스워드를 사용한 전통적 인증방식은 데이터의 공유와 통합을 전제로 하는 그리드환경에 적용하기에는 평범한 보안수준을 제공한다. 따라서 그리드 환경에 적합한 보안 수준을 제공하는 인증방식이 필요하다 또한 기존의 아이디와 패스워드 인증방식에 익숙한 사용자들을 위해 편리한 인터페이스가 요구된다. 이러한 요구사항을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 인증서를 활용한 그리드 포탈 기반의 인증시스템 모델을 제안하고자 한다.

A study on the construction If urban diagnosis system base on GIS (GIS기반의 도시진단시스템 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to search for the construction of UDS(Urban Diagnosis System) which can be effectively applied to selecting or classifying the districts for carving out projects of urban planning based on urban geographic information. In order to promote projects of urban planning, it is essential that selecting or classifying the urban districts should be precisely diagnosed according to the respective blocks. Objective measuring standards are needed for this, and the UDS can be applied to analyzing these standards according to the levels. With these in mind, this paper will consider the present states of Korea and the established states of developed countries. Besides, the interest of this paper is to seek the ways of utilizing GIS most effectively in the urban planning areas and application methods. Also, it will find the ways of applying UDS extensively to selecting or classifying districts far the purpose of carrying out urban planning projects actually in the case areas.

  • GML proposed to offer interoperability of geography information is specifying various dynamic object schema for application in the wireless environment. These GML dynamic object schema supports the expression of moving objects that the position and shape change consecutively over time, so practical use of GML is increased in location-based service that provides various application services based on location information of moving objects. In particular, the conventional query languages about GML have been studied with priority given to the integration of geographic information, the support of spatial operations, and etc. However, it lacks the support for moving objects queries. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the moving objects query language that supports moving objects queries for GML documents by extension of XQuery that is standard in query language. Also, data model, algebra operation and various moving objects operators for the proposed query language are designed, and we apply the proposed query language to tornado government organization system to show that the proposed query language can be used effectively in various location-based service.

  • Topographic information is indispensable in the applications that require elevational data. These applications are exemplified by watershed partition, extraction of drainage networks, viewshed analysis, derivation of geomorphologic features, quantification of landslide-terrain, and identification of topographic settings susceptible to landsliding. Therefore, we study the accuracy of data on topographic parameters derived from digital elevation models(DEMs). This research wished to analyze the effect that data source and grid size get in topography parameter using gridded DEM. An analysis of topography parameter extract and compared drainage basin, watershed slope, stream network using DEM is constructed by digital map and DTED DEM. Especially, when extract stream network from gridded DEM, received much effects according to threshold value of flowaccumulation regardless of DEM grid size. Therefore, this study applied equal threshold value of flowaccumulation for two data sources, and compare and analyzed stream network.

Review of Trends in Recent Climate Research by Korean Climatologists (최근 한국의 기후학 연구 동향)

  • This study reviewed recent trends in climate research by Korean climatologists. We analyzed six domestic journals listed in the Korean Citation Index and four international journals listed in the Science Citation Index during 2001-2011. Research on climate change has rapidly increased during the study period and studies on precipitation variability have been given continual attentions among Korean climatologists. In climate change research, meteorologists focused on characteristics, prediction, and causes while geographers were more interested in characteristics and impacts of climate change. In applied climatology and bioclimatology, research on the impacts of climate change on agriculture, livestock, vegetation, and human health has increased under recent climate change. While there has been steady interest in climatography by Korean climatologists, the number of papers has generally decreased over the recent period.

Spatio-temporal Change Detection of Forest Patches Due to the Recent Land Development in North Korea (북한 도시지역의 산림파편화 변화조사)

  • 본 연구는 지리정보시스템 및 원격탐사기법을 응용하여 북한의 자연환경을 조사하기 위한 기초연구로서 수행되었으며, 과거 약 20년 동안의 평양 및 남포지역의 산림면적의 변화 및 경관구조 변화측면에서의 산림 파편화 양상을 조사하였다. 조사자료로는 Landsat MSS 및 TM 영상의 NDVI값을 이용하였으며, 보다 정확한 피복분류를 위하여 변형된 Cluster-Busting 알고리즘을 활용하여 산림과 비산림지역으로 단순화시켜 분석하였다. 경관구조의 변화를 살피기 위해서 조각밀도, 형태 및 핵심내부지역의 면적 등의 경관지수(Landscape Indices)를 활용하였다. 분석과정을 거쳐서 도출된 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, Cluster-busting 방법을 활용한 토지피복 분류결과 87.3%의 총 분류 정확도를 얻었으며, Binary Map을 이용한 변화감지(Change Detection)기법 또한 그 결과가 정확한 것으로 판단되었다. 둘째, '79년에서 '98년에 이르는 기간동안, 평양의 경우 '79년 산림면적의 15%, 그리고 남포지역의 경우 14%가 감소하였다. 셋째, 경관지수를 이용하여 북한 산림의 파편화 변화를 조사한 결과 산림조각의 개수는 늘어나고 조각의 평균면적 및 핵심내부면적은 감소하였으며 조각크기의 다양성 또한 낮아졌다. 산림조각 형태지수 또한 매우 증가하였는데 이러한 결과들은 평양 및 남포지역의 산림조각이 파편화되고 그 형태 또한 불규칙적이며 복잡하게 변화하였음을 보여주고 있다.

  • It was investigated to develop the contents for the local government for the purpose of providing various and correct information. Especially it was focused to take advantage of spatial information techniques, GIS(Geographic Information Systems) and RS(Remote Sensing). The research site for this study was Muan-gun located at the south-western part of Korea, and this site has very high opportunities to became the central point for the economical and tourist industry. The regional information contents for Muan-gun was developed and composed of three elements, internet related, geographic information related and satellite imagery related elements These contents will make a contribution for the local government to present the regional information effectively and efficiently.

Similarity measures for trajectories of moving objects in cellular space (셀룰러 공간에 존재하는 이동객체 궤적의 유사성 측정)

  • While most GIS are based on Euclidean space, cellular space can be used as an alternative type of space for a large number of GIS applications. In order to analyze the pattern of moving objects in cellular space, we need new definitions of similarity between their trajectories since the trajectory in cellular space significantly differs from those in Euclidean space. In this paper, we study the properties of moving objects in cellular space. Based on these observations, we propose several similarity measures between trajectories in cellular space. We analyze the difference of the proposed measures by experiments.

  • Geographic data which are difficult to handle by the characteristics of spatial variation and variety turned into a possibility to analyze with tlie computer-aided digital map and the use of Geographic Information System(GIS). The purpose of this study is to develop and apply a GIS application model (GISCELWAB) for the spatial simulation of surface runoff from a small watershed. This paper discribes the modeling procedure and the applicability of the cell water balance model (CELWAB) which calculates the water balance of a cell and simulates surface runoff of watershed simultaneously by the interaction of cells. The cell water balance model was developed to simulate the temporal and spatial storage depth and surface runoff of a watershed. The CELWAB model was constituted by Inflow-Outflow Calculator (JOC) which was developed to connect cell-to-cell transport mechanism automatically in this study. The CELWAB model requests detail data for each component of a cell hydrologic process. In this study, therefore, BANWOL watershed which have available field data was selected, and sensitivity for several model parameters was analyzed. The simulated results of surface runoff agreed well with the observed data for the rising phase of hydrograph except the recession phase. Each mean of relative errors for peak discharge and peak time was 0.21% and2.1 1% respectively. In sensitivity analysis of CELWAB , antecedent soil moisture condition(AMC) affected most largely the model.
