Pressure Control Law of Gas Generator Considering Combustion Volume Change (연소공간 변화를 보상하는 가스발생기 압력 제어기법)

  • A pressure control law to regulate pressure of gas generator is suggested. To design a model based control law, the governing equation which consists of Robert and conservation equation is built and verified through the ground burning test. PID and nonlinear adaptive control laws are designed to analyze the loop response characteristics under the system which has varying eigen properties arisen from combustion volume change. It is suggested that new approach, gain scheduling design, is required to overcome the defects identified from numerical simulation results of the two control laws. The newly suggested scheme shows good control performance even under disturbances and measurement noise.

당밀의 열살균에 관한 연구

  • 발효공업에 있어서 오염에 영향을 주는 미생물의 열살균 속도를 $120~130^{\circ}C$ 범위에서 조사하였다. 살균속도에 대한 온도의 영향은 Arrhenius식으로 다음과 같이 표시되었다. K=3.47$\times$$10^{28}$ EXP(-52.3 Kcal/RT)원형 반응기의 비이상혼합효과를 보기 위하여 난류영역에서 methylene blue 용액을 사용하여 계단압력을 주어 그 과도응답을 측정한 결과 체류시간 분포는 dispersion 모형에 잘 부합되었고 peclet number 100 을 얻었다. 당밀을 열분해시키면 hydroxymethl furfural이 생성되는 것을 확인하였고 온도와 pH에 따라 검토한 결과 고온의 산성용액에서 반응은 촉진되었다.

  • 표준형 원자력발전소에서는 원자로 내의 핵연료 봉으로부터 발생하는 열에너지를 열교환기인 증기발생기로 전달하는 원자로냉각재 계통이 있다. 핵연료 봉을 적절한 냉각 상태로 유지하기 위하여 원자로냉각재의 온도와 압력뿐만 아니라 체적을 제어하고 있다. 원자로냉각재 체적은 용량이 큰 반면에 제어하는 밸브의 크기는 작아서 제어 응답이 길어서 현장에서 경험적으로 튜닝하는 것은 매우 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 체적제어루프의 수학적인 모델링을 통하여 오프라인으로 최적 제어 파라미터를 찾고, 실제 적용한 결과를 보여준다. 제어루프 모델링을 위하여 일반화 프로세서 모델 식으로부터 실제 운전 데이터로 모델 파라미터를 결정하는 경험적 방법을 사용하였다. 이로부터 구한 제어 파라미터를 실제 적용한 결과, 적절한 제어 응답을 얻었으며 모델링 과정이 적절하였음을 확인하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a personal computer aided 3-D geometric modeller. To perform this study, we set up a cube, cylinder, and a prism as primitives in the first segment of this study. By modelling the 3-D object through their transformation, addition, and subtraction, we proved the validity of the developed algorithm and its computer program. Some examples show the results of applying the program to model a few simple shapes of the machine parts. These results met the first aim of this study.

  • In this paper hydroelastic responses of a very large floating structure(VLFS) are studied theoretically. We have been developed the source and dipole distribution method and pressure distribution method to evaluate the hydrodynamic pressures. The problem of vertical structural responses due to waves are calculated by using finite element method(FEM) and modal expansion method of a free-free beam Hydroelastic responses of VLFS in waves are computed by four methods developed in this paper. As a result the theoretical results of motion responses show good agreements with experimental ones.

  • This paper discusses a one-way fluid structural interaction (FSI) analysis and shape optimization of the impeller blades for a 15,000 HP centrifugal compressor using the response surface method (RSM). Because both the aerodynamic performance and the structural safety of the impeller are affected by the shape of its blades, shape optimization is necessary using the FSI analysis, which includes a structural analysis for the induced fluid pressure and centrifugal force. The FSI analysis is performed in ANSYS Workbench: ANSYS CFX is used for the flow field and ANSYS Mechanical is used for the structural field. The response surfaces for the FSI results (efficiency, pressure ratio, maximum stress, etc.) generated based on the design of experiments (DOE) are used to find an optimal shape for the impeller blades, which provides the maximum aerodynamic performance subject to the structural safety constraints.

  • The effect of several parameters to minimize the braking response time has been investigated in this study. The experimental rigs were developed and the results of the experement compared with those of simulation obtained from the net work fluid flow system analysis code (FLOWMASTER). The braking response time and pressure loss were observed at separated braking port and found out that the response time can be reduced by considering the pipe length and environmental thermal conditions. The correlation equation was also presented to predict the pressure loss at various tank pressure.

  • 본 논문에서는 선체 하부에 moonpool과 bilge step을 장착한 새로운 개념으의 LNG-FPSO를 운동감소와 cargo, operation tank의 슬로싱 현상의 관점에서 기술하였다. LNG-FPSO의 주요제원은$L\times B\times D\times t(design)=270.0\times51.0\times32.32\times13.7(m)$ 이고 적용조건은 total corgo capacity of 161KT at 98% loading condition 이다. LNG-FPSO의 운동감소의 목적으로 2개의 moonpool과 선체하부 bilge 부분에 사각 step을 장착하였다. LNG-FPSO의 운동해석을 위해 단순화된 경계조건을 만족하는 선형화된 3차원 diffraction theory를 사용하였고 LNG-FPSO의 연성된 6-자유도 운동응답을 계산하였다. LNG-FPSO의 정확한 Roll 운동을 추정하기 위해 점성효과는 Himeno(1981)가 제안한 경험식을 사용하였다. Moonpool의 크기에 따른 운동감소의 경향을 파악하기 위해 이론적 계산과 실험적 방법으로 수행하였다. Moonpool 크기와 bilge step의 효과를 최적화하기 위해 총9가지의 case를 설정하였다. 이론 및 실험 결과로부터 본 LNG-FPSO는 moonpool과 bilge step의 장착으로 인한 감쇠력의 증가로 운동성능이 우수하다. 본 LNG-FPSO의 운동 응답중, 특별히 roll 운동이 다른 drillship, shuttle tanker등의 선박과 비교하여 상당히 작았고 이는 moonpool과 blige step의 장착으로 인한 효과로 판단된다. Cargo tank와 operation tank 크기를 검토 하기 위해 불규칙 해상중 sloshing 해석을 chamfer를 갖는 LNG-FPSO의 No.2, No.5 tank 벽면의 압력 분포와 자유표면의 time history에 초점을 맞추어 수행하였다. 최종적으로 tank 크기를 최적화 하였고 최적화된 tank는 선수사파와 횡파상태의 모든 filling에서 공진현상과 충격압력이 발생하지 않음을 확인하였다.

  • It has been well known the sloshing pressure has complex shape and various patterns. The pattern of sloshing pressure is variously characterized by the pressure amplitude, duration time and skewness. The structural response induced by the sloshing pressure is also affected by the pattern of sloshing pressure and the type of structural members. In order to understand the structural response by the perspective view of categorized pattern, it is more efficient to make simple sloshing pressure pattern than to reflect the complex pressure history. In this study, the sloshing pressures obtained by the small scale model test are simplified with respect to their duration and skewness. Dynamic analyses of Mark-III LNG CCS are then parametrically performed with the consideration of various types of sloshing impact. Meanwhile, the failure pressures given the duration and skewness are investigated after parametric calculations are conducted to investigate the effect of pressure parameters on the structural response.
