Development of a Position Control Algorithm for Feed Drives in Machine Tools Using an Error Model (오차모델을 이용한 공작기계 이송장치의 위치제어 알고리듬 개발)

  • This paper presents the development of an algorithm for position control of feed drives in machine tools. The algorithm is constructed through an experimental method based on proportional control with a ramp input. In the first step of designing, a tracking-error curve is generated with the proportional control, and then an error model is decided to reduce the tracking error, Next, the output signal of the error model is added to the current error signal to yield the actuating error signal. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is confirmed through simulation and experiments.

  • 본 논문은 일사량 변화 시, 최대 출력점을 추종하는 태양광 발전시스템의 동적 응답특성을 향상시키기 위해 가변 스텝 사이즈 기반의 P&O (perturb & observe) 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 기법은 일사량과 PV (photovoltaic) 전류 관계로부터 일사량 변화에 따른 최대 전력점 전류 $I_{MPP}$변화 특성을 이용하며, 새로운 I-V 곡선에서 PV 동작점을 최대 출력점으로 빠르게 이동시키는 고속모드와 정상상태 부근에서 정상상태 효율 향상을 위한 가변 스텝 모드로 구성된다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해 $500W/m^2$$1000W/m^2$ 일사량 증감 조건에서 제안된 MPPT(maximum power point tracking) 기법의 추종 성능을 검증하였으며, MPPT 주기가 2초이고 일사량 $500W/m^2$$1000W/m^2$ 증감을 할 때 추종시간은 약 30초 정도이며, 정상상태 PV 전압변동은 약 0.1V로써 일사량 변화 조건에서 제안된 MPPT 기법의 알고리즘 성능을 검증하였다.

  • Collision fragility analysis of offshore bridge by ship was performed. Collision velocity and angle were chosen as random variables then collision of 18,000DWT and 30,000DWT ships with bridge was analyzed. Displacement response surface of bridge by ship collision was estimated by varying ship velocity from 2 m/s to 7 m/s. Using the result of reliability analysis, fragility curves of collision was established and risk of offshore bridge to collision velocity as median and log-standard deviation was presented.

  • An identification method of the structural damping matrix for a steel bar by the genetic algorithm is proposed. Supposing the damping matrix were in proportion to the stiffness matrix, the proportional factors can be identified from the curve fitting of the experimental frequency response function(FRF) by the genetic algorithm. Applying the identified damping matrix to FEM of a beam model, the values of the objective function could be reduced to about 1/60 in comparison with conventional FEM model without damping. The damping matrices of some sub-structures which have large damping partly could be identified by the algorithm, and they could be used as some parts of the FEM model for a whole structure.

  • An interferometric fiber-optic magnetic field sensor is constructed by bonding a Co-Fe-B metallic glass transducer developed here by the melt-spun method to a single mode fiber arm in the fiber Mach-Zehnder interferometer and is tested. The bias field for the peak ac-sensitivity was observed near 0.97 Oe and the minimum detectable magnetic field was 3.9${\times}10^{-5}$ Oe(rms)/${\sqrt{Hz}}$ a 3 kHz. The output of the ac field sensor becomes saturated near the input signal level of 1 Oe(rms). The Co- Fe-B transducer exhibits peak response near 500 Hz.

  • The acceleration levels and durations of seismic inputs for nuclear power plant design are surveyed. Among those inputs, two artificial acceleration time histories with same acceleration level and duration are selected and their characteristics are studied by calculating response spectra and spectrum intensity. The selected time histories which have the duration of 24 sec. satisfy the design response spectra of US Nuclear Regulatory Commission Regulatory Guide 1. 60. One of the selected time histories is improved to have the duration of 15 sec. without significant changes in the other characteristics. A case study of a plane model with 3 lumped masses is done using three time histories, i.e, two selected and one improved time histories. It is found that the improved curve gives almost the same results as the original one and reduces the computer time by about half, whereas two selected time histories give the results with same trend but much different magnitudes each other. It is claimed, however, that the improved time history is not the optimal one, but very economical in practical applications.

  • 미숙련 작업자들에 의하여 생산되는 라우드스피커의 특성들을 분석하여 제작된 제품들의 품질 신뢰도를 분석하였다. 동일한 부품을 사용한 경우임에도 조립 제작과정에서 누적된 미확인 제작오차에 의하여 발생하는 스피커의 전기 임피던스와 음향응답특성등의 산포도를 분석하였다. 또한, 전기 임피던스 곡선들로부터 T-S 매개변수 규명법으로 규명한 스피커 매개변수들의 산포도도 분석하였다. 부품들의 질량에 대한 실측치와 매개변수법으로 규명한 결과를 비교하여 조립제작과정에서 이 값들의 변화 되는 정도도 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 철도차량의 능동조향을 위한 고전 PI 제어기 및 퍼지 제어기를 설계하여 그 성능을 서로 비교하였다. 철도차량에서 능동조향은 곡선부 주행 시 발생되는 승차감 저하 및 차륜/레일의 마모와 소음을 줄이고, 고속주행을 위한 조향성능 및 주행안정성을 확보하기 위한 제어기술이다. 논문에서는 차량 1량을 모델로 하여 측정된 휠-레일의 횡변위(Lateral Displacement) 정보를 토대로 휠의 요모멘트를 제어하는 전략을 사용하여 제어기를 설계하였으며, 시뮬레이션을 통해 제어기 응답 특성을 비교하였다.

  • 압전 구동기는 여러 가지 적용에 있어서 높은 응답 속도와 큰 힘, 작은 크기 둥의 장점을 가지고 미세 구동에서 독보적인 위치를 차지하고 있다. 하지만, 히스테리시스, 크? 등의 압전 소자 자체의 비선형성과 이의 구동을 위한 증폭기 등의 한계로 압전 소자의 동적인 특성은 비교적 열악한 것으로 알려져 있다. 특히, 구동 속도가 빨라질 수록 히스테리시스 곡선의 모양이 달라게 되어 구동 궤적의 정확한 예측이 어려우며, 증폭기의 최대 발생 전류가 충분치 않을 경우 압전 구동기가 지령치를 따르지 못하게 된다.(중략)

Study on Seismic Performance Evaluation and Verification of Seismic Safety for Power Cable Tunnels (개착식 전력구의 내진성능 평가 및 내진 안전성 검증)

  • In this paper, the seismic performance evaluation was performed on 100 existing open-cut power cable tunnels, including ones that did not consider seismic design, in order to verify that the government's demand level (seismic special grade, 0.22 g). The results of the seismic performance evaluation show that most of the tunnels have seismic performance of 0.3 to 1 g, satisfying the level of the seismic special grade and securing the seismic safety. Meanwhile, the earthquake response analysis and structural test were performed to verify the validity of the method and the results of the seismic performance evaluation of the tunnels by the response displacement method, and to verify their seismic safety. As a result, the relative displacement due to the response displacement method under the 0.22 g earthquake was conservative than the results of the earthquake response analysis, and the results of load-displacement curves and response modification coefficient calculation by real scale structural tests showed the safety of the tunnels.
