In this paper, we introduce an interface for exploring music using emotional model. First, we survey arousal-valence factors of various music and calculate a correlation between audio fefatures of music and arousal-valence factors to build an AV model. Then, various music is aligned and arranged using the AV model and the user can explore music in this interface. To select the desired music more intuitively, we introduce new fade in/out function based on the location of the user's mouse point. We also offer several mode of selecting music so user can explore music using most suitable mode of interface. With our interface, the user can find the emotionally desired music more easily.

In this study, emotional analysis was conducted based on the basic attribute data of music and the emotional model in psychology, and the result was applied to the visualization rules in the formative arts. In the existing studies using musical parameter, there were many cases with more practical purposes to classify, search, and recommend music for people. In this study, the focus was on enabling sound data to be used as a material for creating artworks and used for aesthetic expression. In order to study the music visualization as an art form, a method that can include human emotions should be designed, which is the characteristics of the arts itself. Therefore, a well-structured basic classification of musical attributes and a classification system on emotions were provided. Also, through the shape, color, and animation of the visual elements, the visualization of the musical elements was performed by reflecting the subdivided input parameters based on emotions. This study can be used as basic data for artists who explore a field of music visualization, and the analysis method and work results for matching emotion-based music components and visualizations will be the basis for automated visualization by artificial intelligence in the future.

Shin Hae-Chul's music opened a new horizon in the Korean pop music market where only popular music is produced and the music of a similar genre or pattern is mainstream, which has dissolved the complaints of the public who longed for new music. He experimented with his musical potential every time he released his work, which received favorable reviews in that he raised the level of Korean pop music. To solve the unstable factors in today's pop music, it is important to appeal to the public by capturing quality work through continued studies and creative activities. In that context, the attitude of "Next" is led by the late Shin Hae-Chul, and his qualities as an artist greatly contributed to the development of Korean pop music. This indicates that if musicians strive to develop themselves, and strengthen their creative ability to make bold and new attempts, Korean pop music will lead to another fashionable "K-pop" and will open up a new horizon.

This paper is a study that analyzes the use and techniques of rap in music that entered Melon Chart, one of the major music sites in Korea, during 2020. Among the songs that entered the chart, reflecting the public's preference, the trend of rap music, an important element of hip-hop music, is analyzed and musical features such as representative artists or frequently used rhythm patterns are analyzed. Through this paper, characteristics of rap music favored by the public and artists in recent popular music have been organized and formalized, and based on this, the elements of etude development for technical polishing are summarized. Through this, it is hoped that just like the long-time analyzed and structured performance techniques such as vocals and instruments, various styles of rap music can develop into a systematic and step-by-step technique system for students who want to learn and practice it.

Film music expresses the inner mentality of characters and performs a suggestive role of narrative. This study suggests the process of musical change according to the psychological change of the characters in the movie "The Hours" by Stephen Daldry. These musical elements depending on the mental states prove that the minute differences of each depression symptom could be expressed using symbolic methods of musical elements.

대중음악과 스마트폰 기술이 발달하면서 사용자가 직접 음악을 검색할 수 있는 내용 기반 음악 검색 기술이 연구되었다. 그 결과 허밍을 사용하여 음악을 검색할 수 있는 음악 검색 시스템이 개발되었지만, 검색 속도가 느리고 검색 결과가 부정확한 시스템이 많다. 본 논문에서는 음원의 주파수 변화율을 측정하고 이를 코사인 유사도 알고리즘을 이용하여 유사도를 측정하는 음악 검색 시스템을 설계하였고, 각 설계요소를 설명한다. 새로 설계한 음악 검색 시스템을 기반으로 한 실험을 통하여 기존의 음악 검색 시스템과 유사한 성능이 나오는 것을 확인하였으며 본 논문에서 제시한 새로운 음악 검색 시스템은 기존 음악 검색 시스템보다 구조가 단순하면서도 유사한 결과를 내고 있다.

This thesis proposes the emotions acquired after listening to the music as an emotion model composed of 8 types of emotions, based on the emotion model studied previously. The 5 musical factors selected, that affect the emotion, are tempo, dynamics, amplitude change, brightness, and noise. According to the emotion model composed of 8 types of emotions, 160 songs categorized into the 8 types of emotions were selected, and the actual data was extracted and analyzed. Through the analysis of actual data, an emotion equation made of weighted value of 5 factors was derived, and an algorithm that can predict the emotion by mapping on the 2-dimensional emotion coordinate system through the emotion equation was designed. Also, a way of controlling emotion by moving the coordinates on the 2-dimensional emotion coordinate system was suggested.

디지털도서관에서의 음악정보의 효율적인 검색과 이용을 목적으로 NIFF를 이용해 음악정보를 디지털화하고 이를 기반으로 전율, 가사, 코드, 주석등의 세부 요소를 자동으로 색인하여 검색에 활용하는 방법을 제안하였다. 이 방법을 이용하면 첫째, 전통적인 목록에서는 불가능한 다양한 접근점의 제시가 가능하여 음악정보 이용자의 정보요구를 보다 잘 충족시킬 것이며, 둘째, 향후 정보검색 분야에 있어서 음악정보를 대상으로 하는 다양한 검색기법을 연구하는 중요한 토대가 될 것으로 기대한다.

콘셉트 앨범에서 음악적 연출을 위한 기법으로 앨범 내 서로 다른 곡에서 사용한 반복적 음악 요소를 사용한다. 리프, 솔로, 멜로디, 화성 진행의 반복적 사용을 통하여 각각의 곡들이 콘셉트 앨범 내에서 연결되는 구조를 만든다. 이러한 연결 구조를 통하여 음악적 기법과 내러티브의 연관성을 찾는다. 연관성을 통하여 콘셉트 앨범의 음악적 연출과 내러티브 표현의 방법을 분석한다.

The purpose of this study is to inquire into the theoretical background of music therapy interventions for the improvement of mathematical concepts among young children with special needs. The researcher provides a basis of theoretical background about musical activities as an effective tool for young children to understand and promote their mathematical concepts, and the necessity of practical application in the field of mathematics education is suggested. Music, as a multi-sensory modality, has an ability to hold and maintain one's attention, and can be used as a memory aid and a powerful and effective motivator and reinforcer for young children. Therefore, musical activities can be used to facilitate mathematical concepts in the field of education for young children. Possible musical activities for promoting mathematical development are suggested, and the necessity for developing various musical activities is discussed.
