A Data Driven Index for Convergence Sensor Networks (융합 센서 네트워크를 위한 데이터 기반 색인)

  • Wireless sensor networks (WSN) can be more reliable and easier to program and use with the help of sensor database management systems (SDMS). SDMS establish a user-friendly SQL-based interface to process declarative user-defined queries over sensor readings from WSN. Typical queries in SDMS are ad-hoc snapshot queries and long-running, continuous queries. In SDMSs queries are flooded to all nodes in the sensor net, and query results are sent back from nodes that have qualified results to a base station. For query flooding to all nodes, and result flooding to the base station, a lot of communication energy consuming is required. This paper suggests an efficient in-network index solution, named Distributed Information Gathering (DIG) to process range queries in a sensor net environment that can save energy by reducing query and result flooding.

  • 최적의 식물 생장을 위해서는 적절한 수분의 유지가 필수적이며 넓은 지역, 다양한 종류, 고가의 식물의 경우일수록 적절한 수분의 관리를 위한 시스템의 도움이 필요하다. 이를 위해 저가의 센서노드 시스템이 적절한 해결책이 될 수 있으나 일반적인 배터리 기반의 센서노드 시스템을 적용시 배터리 용량 확인 및 교체 등의 유지보수 문제가 대두된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 유지보수의 문제를 해결하고 식물재배에 도움을 줄 수 있는 자기유지 지원 방식의 정전용량 센싱기반의 수분 모니터링 센서노드를 설계하였다. UHF 기반의 무선 전력 전송의 자기유지 지원 시스템 및 PCB 패턴기반의 정전용량센싱 수분센서와 초저전력 센서노드 시스템으로 구성된다. 센서노드는 한번 송신시 약 0.24 mJ을 소모하며 에너지획득모듈은 에너지 획득 주기마다 약 4 mJ의 에너지를 공급하도록 설계하여 센서동작을 위한 충분한 에너지 마진을 주도록 설계하였다.

  • 본 논문은 킥보드 음주운전을 방지하기 위해 알코올 센서를 활용하여 킥보드 대여 전 사전에 음주운전을 방지하는 기능을 가지고 있는 애플리케이션이다. 기존 킥보드 대여 애플리케이션과는 다르게 제안한 애플리케이션은 킥보드 대여 전 API를 이용한 운전면허 검증 및 아두이노 알코올 센서를 이용한 알코올 수치를 측정하여 사용을 제한하고 사고를 미리 방지한다. 또한 사용자는 애플리케이션을 통해 지도에 표시된 킥보드의 마커를 클릭하여 대여 및 반납 시 카드 자동결제를 통해 간편하게 사용할 수 있도록 구현하였다.

Effect of Correcting Radiometric Inconsistency between Input Images on Spatio-temporal Fusion of Multi-sensor High-resolution Satellite Images (입력 영상의 방사학적 불일치 보정이 다중 센서 고해상도 위성영상의 시공간 융합에 미치는 영향)

  • In spatio-temporal fusion aiming at predicting images with both high spatial and temporal resolutionsfrom multi-sensor images, the radiometric inconsistency between input multi-sensor images may affect prediction performance. This study investigates the effect of radiometric correction, which compensate different spectral responses of multi-sensor satellite images, on the spatio-temporal fusion results. The effect of relative radiometric correction of input images was quantitatively analyzed through the case studies using Sentinel-2, PlanetScope, and RapidEye images obtained from two croplands. Prediction performance was improved when radiometrically corrected multi-sensor images were used asinput. In particular, the improvement in prediction performance wassubstantial when the correlation between input images was relatively low. Prediction performance could be improved by transforming multi-sensor images with different spectral responses into images with similar spectral responses and high correlation. These results indicate that radiometric correction is required to improve prediction performance in spatio-temporal fusion of multi-sensor satellite images with low correlation.

  • The sensors of aircraft are necessity for mission performance and fusion process of data from them is applied for increase of mission efficiency and decrease of aircraft pilot workload. Data fusion is applied and developed to provide pilot a series of more processed data format about a specific target from sensors in aircraft. Military aircraft currently in operation are linked with a tactical data link such as Link-16 to display improved tactical situation to pilots to increase mission efficiency. By fusing the sensor data with improved accuracy obtained as the sensors' performance mounted on the aircraft become higher and the tactical situation information received through the tactical data link, it provides the pilot with a highly reliable tactical situation and mission environment, and expects efficient mission performance and high survivability. In this paper, a fusion architecture to produce fused data with realtime information from the sensors and data through a tactical data link is shown.

  • In this paper, we propose a advanced attitude PID controller and sensor fusion method robust to the vibration of the quadcopter unmanned air vehicle using four BLDC motors. When the gyro sensor and acceleration sensor are fused, a complementary filter is designed to ignore the vibrations generated by the motors and to complement the drawbacks. As a result, we obtain accurate results than using each sensor. Also, it is possible to obtain a low delay results in robust to vibration than the low-pass filter or moving average filter, which is generally used for quadcopter. And we improved D controller, which have being used for attitude control of quadcopter, to quadcopter using gyro sensor. it was confirmed that the attitude is stabilized and error is reduced By using gyro sensor output instead of variation of estimated angle in D control.

  • This paper describes a passive SID sensor tag that provide physical security functions based on a sensor interface module. It elementarily consists of a serial I/O interface, control module, and sensor module. In this paper, it show tamper-proof security functions by comparison and encryption with the sensor signal data using the physical resistors. The passive SID sensor tag can be realized by the real time management for the safety, forgery, and so on. The proposed SID tag embedded with a sensor module is expected to find wide physical security applications.

  • In this paper, a Kalman filter-based sensor fusion filter that measures posture by calibrating and combining information obtained from acceleration and gyro sensors was proposed. Recent advancements in sensor network technology have required sensor fusion technology. In the proposed approach, the nonlinear system model of the filter is converted to a linear system model through a Jacobian matrix operation, and the measurement value predicted via Euler integration. The proposed filter was implemented at an operating frequency of 74 MHz using a Virtex-6 FPGA Board from Xilinx Inc. Further, the accuracy and reliability of the measured posture were validated by comparing the values obtained using the implemented filters with those from existing filters.

Multiple Sensor Fusion Algorithm for the Altitude Estimation of Deep-Sea UUV, HEMIRE (심해무인잠수정 해미래의 고도정보 추정을 위한 다중센서융합 알고리즘)

  • This paper represents the multiple sensor fusion algorithm for the deep-sea unmanned underwater vehicles (UUV), composed of a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) 'Hemire' and a depressor 'Henuvy'. The performance of underwater positioning system usually highly depend on that of acoustic sensors such as ultra short base line(USBL), long base line(LBL) and altimeter. A practical sensor fusion algorithm is proposed in the sense of a moving window concept. The performance of the proposed algorithm can be observed by applying the algorithm to the Hemire sea trial data which was measured at the East Sea.
