A Study on the Implementation of Digital Twin Architecture and Detailed Technology for Agriculture and Livestock Industry (농·축산 산업을 위한 디지털 트윈 아키텍처 및 세부 기술 구현에 관한 연구)

  • Since COVID-19, the world's food shortage population has more than doubled from 130 million to 270 million. In addition, as various issues related to the food industry such as climate change arise, the importance of agriculture and livestock is increasing. In particular, it is still difficult to utilize data generated in these field. Therefore, the objective of this study was to explain the limitations of using data based on fragmentary analysis and the necessity of Digital Twin. The additional objective was to propose an architecture and necessary technologies of a Digital Twin platform suitable for agricultural and livestock. It also proposed a Digital Twin-based service that could be used in the near future, such as labor reduction, productivity improvement, personalized consumption, transportation, and distribution by incorporating intelligent information convergence technology into facility horticulture and livestock farming.

The effects of SNS use and the individual differences on the social connectedness (개인 성향에 따른 SNS 이용과 사회적 연결 효과)

  • This study empirically explores the effects of SNS use and the individual differences as the self-esteem on the social connectedness. The study results show that the higher self-esteem, the more use the Instagram and the Kakao Talk, which implies that the individual who has the more pro-social propensity uses the more diverse SNS. In contrast, the twitter shows the opposite pattern compared to the Instagram and Kakao Talk in terms of the SNS use according to the degree of the self-esteem. It also shows that women use the more SNS and the cell phone compared to the men do, whereas men use the more Internet than women do. The study results show that the more SNS use and the higher self-esteem, the higher social connectedness. Among the diverse SNS, only the Instagram shows the statistically positive effect on the social connectedness, which implies that the more the Instagram use, the more active in off-line social meetings.

  • In this paper, it is practically difficult to obtain programming language education without having an algorithmic thinking ability, computing thinking ability, and problem solving ability of students with relatively low basic education. The results showed that students who took program language education in parallel with the EPL(Educational Programing Language), Scratch, compared to without using Scratch found to be helpful in improving their programming amd computing thinking ability, and problem-solving abilities as well as their satisfaction. This not only gave students confidence in their hard-thinking programming practices, but also helped prevent them from falling out of the middle.

  • 본 논문에서는 화력을 이용하는 대형 파워 플랜트 설비의 미세먼지 발생량을 저감시키고 능동적으로 제어 할 수 있는 효율적인 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 기존의 고정형으로 설계된 집진기 방식의 고정부하량 한계점과 극복하고 초미세먼지 PM2.5, 미세먼지 PM10의 발생량에 따라 IoT센서 감지에 의해 지능형 알고리즘으로 효율적으로 저감 제어 처리량을 극대화하고, 미세먼지 발생량을 최소화한다. 또한 이 시스템의 차별성은 기존의 집진기에서 잡혀지지 않는 초미세먼지를 새로운 형태의 물질인 FAA(Fine-dust Adsorption Agent)를 통해 연료 연소 시 발생되는 초미세먼지 미세입자 자체를 크게 만들어 기존 설비 집진기 필터에 포집되게 하는 혁신적인 방식이다. 이번 연구를 통해 350도~1000도 열원에서 작용할 수 있는 화학물질 FAA 용액(Agent)을 개발 하였으며 지능형 AI 분사장치를 통해 연료에 첨가되어 연소 시 미세먼지를 20배~50배까지 볼륨을 확대시켜 기존 집진필터에 포집될 수 있게 동작된다. 이때, 기존 설계된 집진기의 한계(부하)용량에 상관없이 미세먼지 발생량을 상황인식 반응형 알고리즘(AI제어) 통해 분사량을 능동적으로 조절하여 미세먼지 발생량을 저감하는 진보적 혁신성을 지닌다.

  • As of 2018, a large amount of Chinese fine dust is flowing into Korea in westerlies. However, the amount of fine dust generated in Korea can not be ignored. Even 52% of the causes of fine dust are domestic factors. Especially in Seoul, where the population is densely populated, the dust levels are high enough to be comparable to other regions. In Seoul, the dust levels are different from each other district. In order to understand the difference of fine dust generation by distinction, it is judged based on the highest traffic volume among the causes of fine dust generation in Seoul. Comparing the traffic volume and the fine dust concentration in 2017, it is possible to know the effect of traffic volume actually, how much it affects.

  • Recognition of named entity such as proper nouns in conversation sentences is the most fundamental and important field of study for efficient conversational information prediction. The most important part of a task-oriented dialogue system is to recognize what attributes an object in a conversation has. The named entity recognition model carries out recognition of the named entity through the preprocessing, word embedding, and prediction steps for the dialogue sentence. This study aims at using user - defined dictionary in preprocessing stage and finding optimal parameters at word embedding stage for efficient dialogue information prediction. In order to test the designed object name recognition model, we selected the field of daily chemical products and constructed the named entity recognition model that can be applied in the task-oriented dialogue system in the related domain.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient object classification method based on semantic segmentation for multi-labeled image data. In addition to various pixel unit information and processing techniques such as color information, contour, contrast, and saturation included in image data, a detailed region in which each object is located is extracted as a meaningful unit and the experiment is conducted to reflect the result in the inference. We use a neural network that has been proven to perform well in image classification to understand which object is located where image data containing various class objects are located. Based on these researches, we aim to provide artificial intelligence services that can classify real-time detailed areas of complex images containing various objects in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of advertising section of the daily newspaper through content analysis. From April 2015 to March 2017, a total of 1,927 advertisements were analyzed by the newspaper ethics committee, and the following results were obtained. Firstly, most types of features (advertising) received more attention than warnings. Secondly, we can confirm that the amount of advertisement in section (featured) of major daily newspapers is gradually increasing, and section advertisement is appeared in major business districts. Third, there were many violations in the practice guidelines of the newspaper code of ethics as the media's responsibility and press coverage. Finally, in the case of certain companies and products, if you do not follow the principles of publication for profit and publicity, you may need to make your own efforts to protect the credibility and fairness of newspapers, and more autonomous guidelines.

Emergency Broadcast System Using Radio and DMB for Tunnel and Underground (라디오와 DMB 방송을 이용한 터널 및 지하차도용 비상방송시스템)

  • Tunnels and subterranean roads, which are representative evacuation facilities for national or regional disasters, have radio relay broadcasting facilities for legal reasons and convenience reasons. However, this system is limited to radio broadcasting and it is impossible to effectively communicate disaster or emergency situations that occur locally due to broadcasting of national broadcasting without DMB broadcasting. In order to improve this, we construct a remote disaster broadcasting system at each regional disaster station and implement a system to transmit it to each tunnel using internet or LTE network. The system in the tunnel transmits the emergency broadcasting signal through the existing relay equipment through the modulator which decodes the SMS, the media file, the real time broadcasting or the image received by the digital signal and converts it into FM and DMB frequency. The method proposed and implemented in this study can be used to provide efficient information and remote field control in case of emergency in tunnel and underground roadway.

Examining the Effects of Perceived Value of Social Media on the Brand Relationship Quality: The Moderating Role of Self-Esteem (소셜 미디어의 인지된 가치가 브랜드관계품질에 미치는 영향에 관한 탐색적 연구: 자기존중감 조절 효과)

  • According to the previous studies about relationship marketing, customers who have relationship with preferable brand or company take spontaneous word of mouth(WOM) and make more purchases than those who don't. Recently, as e-commerce has been combined with social media, many companies that are looking for solution which can promote customer relationship quality using social media. This study aims to investigate the role of customer's perceived value on brand relationship quality in social media. Although perceived value has been defined from many perspectives, we only consider "perceived social value" and "perceived emotional value" in this paper. According to social capital theory, self-esteem is an important variable when we explain the relationships. Thus this paper considers "self-esteem" as a moderating variable between relationship quality and relationship retention. To serve the research purpose, we collect 226 valid questionnaires from social media users. And we analyze data set and test research hypotheses by using SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20. We expect that the result contain a lot of implication for both researchers and practitioners. Major findings from analyzing 226 valid questionnaires are as follows. First, when customer recognizes social value about brand or company, relationship quality with the brand or company has been improved. Second, when customer recognizes emotional value about brand or company, relationship retain intention with the brand or company has been improved. Third, self-esteem doesn't have moderating effect between relationship quality and relationship retention in social media.
