The purpose of this study was to examine the current status of elderly sports both domestically and internationally, and to explore strategies for the activation of Silver Taekwondo as one of the sports disciplines for the elderly. To investigate the status of elderly sports globally, press releases and statistical data from various national public institutions and sports facilities (including the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Korean Statistical Information Service, e-National Indicators, and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation) were collected. Comparative analysis with related papers, journals, and books led to the following findings for activating Silver Taekwondo. Firstly, elderly sports in South Korea are primarily conducted through welfare centers, with a preference for dance, yoga, and music, while martial arts, including Taekwondo, had a lower preference rate. To increase participation in Silver Taekwondo, a variety of marketing approaches, similar to those used internationally, such as experiential case studies in media, film production, distribution, and telephone promotions, are necessary. Secondly, the development of Silver Taekwondo programs tailored to the training targets and the cultivation of instructors capable of executing these programs are needed. The development of programs should involve collaboration with Taekwondo institutions, dojangs, universities, and lifelong education centers, requiring the participation of majoring students and elderly sports instructors.
This study was to confirm the effect of emotional intelligence on organizational commitment of general hospital nurses and the mediating effect of affect. Data was collected using a structured online self-report questionnaire on emotional intelligence, organizational commitment, and both negative and positive affect from 236 nurses working in general hospitals. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, and a parallel multiple mediation model. This analysis was conducted with IBM SPSS Statistics (Version 27.0) and the PROCESS macro (Model 4). This study's findings revealed that emotional intelligence was significant correlated with positive affect, negative affect, and organizational commitment. Emotional intelligence had a significant direct effect on positive affect (β=.16, p=.015), negative affect (β=-.28, p<.001), and organizational commitment (β=.33, p<.001). Positive affect (β=.20, p=.001) and negative affect (β=-.25, p<.001), had a significant direct effect on organizational commitment. And the mediating effect of positive affect (β=.03, 95% bootstrap CI=0.01~0.07) and negative affect (β=.07, 95% bootstrap CI=0.03~0.12) was also significant. Based on these research results, it will be necessary to research various training programs that can manage emotional intelligence and affect together in developing programs to improve nurses' organizational commitment.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of SNS marketing characteristics on hair shop image formation and visit intention in the hair beauty industry. SNS marketing is a strategy to carry out marketing activities through interaction with customers, information provision, information trust, and playfulness using modern social media platforms. It was intended to analyze how these characteristics of SNS marketing affect the formation of hair shop images and visit intention to customers in the hair beauty industry. For the study, a total of 307 customers with experience using hair-related SNS were surveyed. The questionnaire included items related to SNS marketing characteristics, hair shop images, and visit intention, and the collected data was statistically analyzed using SPSS 26.0. The results of the research problem were derived by applying analysis methods such as frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, simple regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, and mediated regression analysis. As a result of the study, it was found that information provision, information reliability, playfulness, and interaction, which are characteristics of SNS marketing, have a positive effect on the formation of hair shop images. In addition, it was confirmed that the hair shop image had a positive effect on the intention to visit. In addition, it was found that the hair shop image plays a mediating role between the SNS marketing characteristics and the intention to visit. This provides important insights that can improve image formation and customer visit intention in the hair beauty industry through SNS marketing.
As the spread of smartphones has become more common and the utilization rate has increased, the mobile shopping market is also growing and expectations for related industries are also increasing. Mobile shopping apps are converging with various industries such as fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, and competition among companies to increase the number of users is intensifying with the activation of non-face-to-face. Accordingly, in this study, a study on the perceived value and intention to use mobile shopping apps was conducted based on a VAM. In order to test the hypothesis of this study, a questionnaire was conducted on 266 people who had used a mobile shopping app and it was used for analysis. Looking at the results, it was confirmed that both usefulness and enjoyment among the perceived benefit of mobile shopping apps have a positive (+) effect on the perceived value. However, it was found that the technicality and perceived risk among the perceived sacrifices of mobile shopping apps did not significantly affect the perceived value. Finally, it was confirmed that the perceived value of the mobile shopping app had a positive (+) effect on the intention to use. Through this study, we would like to examine the factors that can affect perceived value and usage intention in the mobile shopping app industry, which is increasingly competitive among companies along with the rapid growth of mobile technology and market, and suggest practical implications for related companies and officials to establish efficient strategies to further increase mobile shopping app users.

Over recent years, 6 Sigma has become a key methodology in manufacturing for quality improvement and cost reduction. However, challenges have arisen due to the difficulty in analyzing large-scale data generated by smart factories and its traditional, formal application. To address these limitations, a big data-based 6 Sigma approach has been developed, integrating the strengths of 6 Sigma and big data analysis, including statistical verification, mathematical optimization, interpretability, and machine learning. Despite its potential, the practical impact of this big data-based 6 Sigma on manufacturing processes and management performance has not been adequately verified, leading to its limited reliability and underutilization in practice. This study investigates the efficiency impact of DX SS, a big data-based 6 Sigma, on manufacturing processes, and identifies key success policies for its effective introduction and implementation in enterprises. The study highlights the importance of involving all executives and employees and researching key success policies, as demonstrated by cases where methodology implementation failed due to incorrect policies. This research aims to assist manufacturing companies in achieving successful outcomes by actively adopting and utilizing the methodologies presented.
In the steel industry, there is a perception that "collusion has become a long-standing practice" and it is expected that the authorities' legal response to collusion will be strengthened in the future. This necessarily requires improving the accuracy of the legal response, the most important of which is to accurately identify whether the allegedly colluding firms actually did collude. This study focuses on the recent iron scrap price-fixing case and examines whether a single accused firm actually engaged in price-fixing in a situation where there is a mix of firms that acted independently of the collusion and firms that actually engaged in price-fixing. The results of the analysis allow us to infer that the accused steelmaker did not actually collude, which is consistent with the authorities' final judgment against the steelmaker. In the real world, some collusions are carried out by only a subset of firms in a market, and in these cases, there are often disputed firms as to whether or not they carried out the collusion. This study can serve as an analytic guide for industries, including the steel industry, to verify the behavior of individual firms, especially those whose collusive practices are disputed.
This study was conducted to examine the self-efficacy and rejection sensitivity of nursing college students and their college life adjustment, as well as to identify the impact of self-efficacy and rejection sensitivity on college life adjustment. An online survey via URL was conducted on 154 enrolled students from nursing colleges nationwide. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 23.0 statistical software for descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the self-efficacy of the subjects was 3.80±0.63 points, rejection sensitivity was 2.67±0.83 points, and college life adjustment was 3.58±0.54 points. The factor influencing the college life adjustment among nursing college students was self-efficacy (β=.42, p<.001), while rejection sensitivity showed a significant negative correlation with adaptation to university life (r=-0.24, p=.003), but it was not a significant influencing factor. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and utilize various teaching methods and programs for psychological and social support to enhance self-efficacy in order to improve the adjustment of nursing college students to college life.
This study verified the relationship between marital conflict perceived by working mothers and the influence of children's cyber delinquency and the mediating effect of school life adaptation. For the analysis data, the 14th data of the Korean Children's Panel (2021) were used, and SPSS WIN 23.0 and PROCESS MACRO were used for analysis. The analysis method used the PROCESS MACRO Model Number 4 technique to verify the hypothesis, first, frequency analysis to understand the demographic and sociological characteristics of the survey subjects, second, technical statistics, correlation analysis to understand the technical statistics and correlations of major variables. As a result of the main analysis, first, it was found that marital conflict perceived by working mothers did not have a statistically significant effect on children's cyber delinquency. Second, in the relationship between marital conflict perceived by working mothers and cyber delinquency of children, school life adaptation had a complete mediating effect. Based on these results, it is significant in that it has presented basic data to prevent cyber delinquency problems before children who are active a lot online are exposed.
The study aim was to investigate the relationship between adolescents' physical activity and subjective health perceptions and determine whether body mass index (BMI), an obesity-related indicator, had a mediating or moderating effect on this relationship. To achieve the purpose of this study, raw data from the 18th Youth Health Behavior Online Survey (2022) were used, and data from 23,612 people were ultimately selected for the research analysis. A confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling were applied to the data, and bootstrapping techniques were used to verify the mediating effect. To verify the moderating effect, a multigroup analysis of the structural equation model was applied to calculate pairwise parameter comparison values. All statistical significance levels were set at .05. The results of this study follow. First, the greater the amount of physical activity among adolescents, the more positive was the effect on subjective health perception. Second, subjective body type perception had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between physical activity and subjective health perception. Third, subjective body type had a moderating effect on physical activity and subjective health perception. Specifically, people who perceived their subjective body types as average viewed their subjective health more positively when they engaged in more physical activity than those who perceived their body types as slightly or very overweight. In conclusion, preventing obesity and positively changing the subjective health status through sufficient physical activity during adolescence are important.
This is a descriptive research study to confirm the mediating effect of empathy in the relationship between communication skills and interpersonal relationship of MZ generation nursing students. The subjects of this study were 129 nursing students born in 1981 to 2006, corresponding to the MZ generation, and the data collection period was from May 20 to July 30, 2023. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 program, and the mediating effect of empathy was tested by Baron and Kenny's three-step mediating effect verification procedure, and Sobel test was conducted to test the statistical significance of the mediating effect. As a result of the analysis, communication skills (β=.45, p<.001) and empathy (β=.18, p=.008) had a significant effect on interpersonal relationship. These variables were found to have 48.4% explanatory power for interpersonal relationship. Empathy had a partial mediating effect (z=2.39, p=.016) in the relationship between communication skills and interpersonal relationship. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to understand the characteristics of the MZ generation familiar with the non-face-to-face culture that will be in charge of future nursing and to develop effective programs to improve their interpersonal relationship.
