A Study on the Service Philosophy of Major Korean Ideology (한국대표사상의 서비스철학성 고찰)

  • This study analyzed Korean representative ideology to establish a service philosophy. As a follow - up study of the service philosophy consistency study of the Korean original idea, we searched for the coherence as the philosophy of the service age in the Korean representative ideology. The basic structure and operation model of service philosophy are presented, and the service philosophy of major korean ideology is derived. The philosophy of service can be presented by the structure of service and the operation of service. The essential characteristics of the service are relationship, interactivity, horizontality, and harmony, and the service structure that reflects this is the coexistence of products and services. Based on the discussion on the structure and operation of the service philosophy, the service philosophy synthesis of Korean representative ideology is presented. From the Silla era to the Koryo dynasty, the essence of Korean Buddhism thought is in line with the service philosophy, and it was found that Toegye and Yulgok to Dasan's thoughts are also consistent with service philosophy. In the future, we need further studies to refine the structure and operational principles of the service philosophy and to develop it into a big idea. In addition, it is necessary to follow up the service philosophy of Oriental representative ideology centering on Chinese and Indian philosophy. Ultimately, it is necessary to establish a service philosophy as the main philosophical thought and to establish a service philosophy as a desirable future economic and social philosophy.

Physical and Mechanical Properties of Synthetic Lightweight Aggregate Concrete (인공경량골재(人工輕量骨材) 콘크리트 물리(物理)·역학적(力學的) 특성(特性))

  • The normal cement concrete is widely used material to build the construction recently, but it has a fault to increase the dead load on account of its unit weight is large compared with strength. Therefore, many engineers are continuously searching for new materials of construction to provide greater performance at lower density. The main purpose of the work described in this paper were to establish the physical and mechanical properties of synthetic lightweight aggregate concrete using perlite on fine aggregate and expanded clay, pumice stone on coarse aggregate. The test results of this study are summarized that the water-cement ratio was shown 47% using expanded clay, 56% using pumice stone on coarse aggregate, unit weight was shown $l,622kgf/m^3$ using expanded clay, $l,596kgf/m^3$ using pumice stone on coarse aggregate, and the absorption ratio was shown same as 17%. The compressive strength was shown more than $228kgf/cm^2$, tensile and bending strength was more than $27kgf/cm^2$, $58kgf/cm^2$ at all types, and rebound number with schmidt hammer was increased with increase of compressive strength. The static modulus was $1.12{\times}10^5kgf/cm^2$ using expanded clay, $1.09{\times}10^5kgf/cm^2$ using pumice stone on coarse aggregate, and stress-strain curves were shown that increased with increase of stress, and the strain on the maximum stress was shown identical with $2.0{\times}10^{-3}$, approximately.

Effects of Soil Organic Matter on Surface Charge Characteristics of Paddy and Upland Soils (논과 밭 토양의 표면전하 특성에 미치는 토양 유기물 영향)

  • The contribution of soil organic matter on the soil surface charge characteristic of paddy and upland soils weathered from granite or limestone was evaluated. The surface charge characteristics of the soils with and without soil organic matter by pre-treatment with hydrogen peroxide was determined at pH 3.5~9.0 range using the ion adsorption method. Regardless of soil organic matter removal, the soil surface negative charge increased linearly by the increase of pH with high statistical significance at all kinds of soils. Here, the differential increasement of soil surface negative charge by pH inclease, dCEC/dpH, was proposed as the parameter of pH dependency of the soil surface charge. The dCEC/dpH of soils with organic matter was in the range of 0.91~4.59, while it was dramatically decreased to the range 0.16~1.91 by the removal of organic matter. The soil surface charge derived from soil organic matter ranged from 15% to 82% to the total amount of surface charge. The magnitude of surface charge carried by 1% of soil organic matter showed considerable differences between soils from 0.22 to $5.03cmol^+\;kg^{-1}$. The effect of soil organic matte on the dCEC/dpH was higher in paddy soils with high oxalic acid extractable Fe than upland soils.

  • This paper is to make a generalization of Keyongyegimunrok(經義記聞錄) by Namdang Han Wonjin(1682~1751) whose historical positions of philosophy were contained, and to examine its established periods and the summaries of Ligi-Simseong Doseol(理氣心性圖說, illustrated Account of principle, Vital force, and Heart-mind) given in Appendix of Chap. 6. Total seventeen explanatory diagrams cover over the theory of principle and material force, theory of Heart-mind, theory of cultivation. These explanatory diagrams were produced systematically and easily to understand the pursuits of study, so-called Ho-hak(湖學), since Namdang becoming a member of the Yellow River(黃江) school. The philosophical argumentations of Namdang was usually succeeded by the orthodox stream of Ki-ho(畿湖) School transmitted from Ii, Song Si-yeol, Gwon Sang-ha. Ligi-wollyu-do(理氣源流圖), Ligi-dongjeong-do(理氣動靜圖), irwon-bunsu-do(一原分殊圖, 4 diagrams) are diagrams equivalent to Ki-ho School's ontology. As Ki-ho School's theory of Heart-mind, there are Seongjeong-hoenggan-do(性情橫看圖), Seongjeong-sugan-do(性情竪看圖), Seongjeong-chonghwoi-do(性情總會圖), Oseonghoju-do (五性互主圖), Oseongchubon-do(五性推本圖), Simseongmyohap-do (心性妙合圖), Simseongiji-do(心性二岐圖), Jungyongcheonmyeong-do(中庸天命圖), Insim dosim-do(人心道心圖), focusing on Simtongseongjeong-do(心統性情圖), and last diagram is Wihakjibang-do(爲學之方圖), which adapted from the diagram established by Ii and Song Si-yeol. The significance of Keyongyegimunrok(經義記聞錄) is comprehensive of the pursuits of the Yellow River school's studies, and provides evidence of a leading figure in Ho-hak.

추파(秋坡) 송기수(宋麒壽)의 철학이론과 유학정신

  • 추파(秋坡) 송기수(宋麒壽)(1507-1582)는 500년 전에 출생하여 조선시대 중종, 인조, 명종, 선조의 4대에 걸친 75세를 일기로 생존했던 재조(在朝)의 선비로서 행정가요, 또한 학인이었다. 추파는 기묘사화의 참상을 직접 목도하고 본의 아니게 위훈이 하사되어 평생 마음의 질곡이 되었고, 또한 소위 양재역 벽서사건에 연루된 종형 규암(圭菴) 송인수(宋麟壽)를 구명(救命)하지 못한 그의 처신이 또한 역사 속에서 오해의 사단(事端)으로서 추파에게 큰 굴레로 작용되었다. 추파의 현실인식은, 사화로 사림이 사기저상되었고, 그로 인해서 치도와 강상이 붕괴되었으며, 재해가 출현하고, 민심의 흐트러짐이 모두 천명의 노여움으로 본 동시에, 그 처방을 요순지치인 치도(治道)를 확립할 것, 선진 성학으로서 학문을 진흥할 것과 그 실천 주체인 선비의 기상을 진작시킬 것에서 찾았던 것이다. 추파의 성리설은 이기관계론을 부상리(不相離)라는 주제만을 채택하여 존재론적으로 접근하였고, 그 결과 율곡보다 훨씬 앞서 '리기지묘(理氣之妙)'라는 표현을 쓰면서 리발(理發)보다는 발어리(發於理)라는 말에 무게중심을 둠으로서 기발을 중심으로 말한 "기발어리설(氣發於理說)"을 제시하였다. 이것은 바로 그 뜻으로서의 천리(天理)를 밝혀 기(氣)로 발하는 구체적인 삶 속에 구현 하는 실천하는 길이 되는 것이다. 궁극적으로 추파의 학문은 바로 천리(天理)를 깨달아 실천궁행하여 가는 길로서 삶의 목표로 삼은 점이 특징적인 것이다. 즉 추파에 있어서 학문의 길은 리(理)의 본래적 뜻을 깨닫고 리(理)의 뜻을 심성의지(心性意志)를 통해서 구현하는 길인, 리(理)로 부터 발한 기발(氣發)을 몸소 역행실천(力行實踐)하는 길인 것이다. 이 길을 실제로 자신의 사명과 직결된 삶의 바른 길로 삼았던 것이다. 요컨대 추파의 학문사상의 궁극적 특징은 역행궁리(力行窮理)의 실천학에 있는 것이며, 따라서 결론적으로 사사(事事)(실사(實事))구시정신(求是精神)에 입각한 실천철학만이 그의 학문의 궁극적인 목적지가 되었던 것이다. 현실정치의 민생문제도, 역사적 이념으로서 선비정신 부양과 벽이단도 모두 이 사사구시(事事求是)의 시(是)를 통해야 되고, 이 시(是)를 통해서 구현하는 길이 추파학문사상의 궁극처인 것이다. 그리고 그의 언설과 삶 자체가 실사구시의 실천 그 자체 이었던 것이다. 학문사상사적으로 본다면 추파의 위상은 근본유학의 정신을 살려 그를 근간으로 하여, 한국 성리학의 개화기(開花期)에 새로운 개념으로서 이 기관계를 '리기지묘(理氣之妙)'라든가 발(發)의 근거를 리(理)에 두되 리(理)가 직접 발하는 것이 아니라, 발(發)하는 것은 기(氣)라는 '기발어리(氣發於理)'의 한길만을 중시한 점으로서 이기설의 새로운 문제를 제기한 점이라 할 수 있으며, 궁극적으로 기발론적(氣發論的)인 바탕에서 실천역행의 근거를 확립하게 됐다는 특징을 볼 수 있는 점이다. 또한 이것은 한국성리학의 기발일도라는 기발설의 선구적 주장이며, 또한 이(理)를 근거로 결국 사사구시(事事求是)의 경세실학(經世實學)을 제시함으로서 실학의 선구가 될 만한 문제제기(問題提起)를 했다고 평가할 만한 특징이라 하겠다. 이 연구가 그의 마음속에 얹혀져있던 멍에도, 그간 오해받은 역사적인 멍에도 벗겨질 수 있고, 한국철학사상장성기(韓國哲學思想長成期)(국유사상주류기(國儒思想主流期))의 학술사적인 위상도 바르게 드러나는 계기가 될 수 있기를 기대한다.

  • Soil properties for the limestone-derived soil were examined to relate soil formation to stratigraphy of parent materials and hillslope positions in Bangjeol Ri, Yeongweol Eup, Gangweon Do. Pyeongchang, Anmi, Yulgog and Mungyeong series were described for topographic positions such as shoulder position, footslope, terrace and local bottom associated with toposequence where the landscape consisted of gently rolling hillslopes and nearly level plains. 1. Pyeongchang, Anmi, Yulgog and Mungyeong series had the standard hue of the 2.5YR, 5YR, 10YR and 2.5Y, respectively. Thus, color sequence of soil could be related to hillslope positions on the landscape. 2. With ascending slope toward summit, the clay content increased while silt content decreased 3. Silt/Clay ratios ranged from 0.27 to 3.76 and it was increased with descending to bottom. It, also, appeared that maturity of soil was higher at summit position than at bottom. 4. Soils developed in limestone were neutral in soil reaction and very low in available $P_2O_5$. OM, available $SiO_2$, CEC, and active Fe in soils seemed to be increased with ascending to summit position.

  • Theories of Li-Ki mutual dynamism and piety represent philosophical thoughts of Toege School. The theory of Li-Ki mutual dynamism reflects conflicts of Heavenly Law and Human Desire or Principled Mind and Selfish Mind on the private level, but conflicts of Virtuous Gentleman and Materialistic Person on the social level. The theory of piety is for establishments of Heavenly Law's Superintendence and Virtuous Gentleman's Leading Power in life. Toege's followers keep this theoretical stream Their perception of reality has two distinct features: one is that they focus on the fundamental distinguished from the incidental: the other is that they don't tolerate any compromise between righteousness and interest, They think they can make a beautiful world without any compromise between righteousness and material interest if trying hard on the fundamental. Their propensities are very different from those of Yulgok school who sought an appropriate compromise between principle and reality or between the Eastern and the Western party distinguishing an argument of the fundamental from an argument of the incidental.

The development method of youth character education through the traditional education : Focused on the learning model (전통교육을 통해 본 현대 청소년인성교육 학습모형 개발 방안)

  • This paper attempted to solve the problem of contemporary youth character education through the traditional character education. For this purpose, to revaluate the educational contents of the Chosen Dynasty with current viewpoint and investigate there is what kind of meaning in current society. In other words, tried to observe about principles and methodology of youth education which based on the human being and education theory of the Confucianism. Specially analysis led about youth education theory of the Toegye and Yulgok who represents Korean studying abroad, to suggest learning model that can apply today and propose that will be able to succeed traditional education in modern ways in future. This paper reviewed that using a traditional education model for the development of youth character education as a basic task of character education program, and proposed its three kinds of components and learning model. First, Arranged character education by 10 kinds of core concept. Second, divided character education into 4 stages - recognition, reflection, application, expansion. Then suggested based on the will, emotion and mind- each of the key concept reapplied by the 4 stages.

The same and diferent opinions about knowing and consciousness through Min-yisheng's idea in the latter period of korea (민이승(閔以升) 사상을 통해 본 조선후기 지(智)와 지각(知覺)의 동이논쟁(同異論爭))

  • This thesis is based on two points in Min-yisheng's idea: 1, knowing, consciousness, and differentiation of mind, according to which 2, Zheng-jidou's dividually observe to the same and different points of liangzhi and consciousness. Min-yisheng and the scholar on Yangming Theory named Zheng-jidou are arguing about the rights and wrongs of the Yangming Theory, the key concept of which is the same and different points of liangzhi and consciousness. At the extension of this argument, Min-yisheng also argues with Jin-chagnxie about the same and different points of knowing and consciousness. When argue with Zheng-jidou about Yangming Theory, Min-yisheng disproves the saying of "mind is principle" and "syncretism of consciousness and behavior" as well as defines liangzhi, which is the key concept of Yangming Theory, as a consciousness different from the natural principle. While disputing with Zheng-jidou about the relation between liangzhi and consciousness, Min-yisheng begins to pay attention to the relation between knowing and consciousness focused in the academy at that time. And as a result of that he also has a dispute with Jin-chagnxie about the same and different points of knowing and consciousness. The dispute between Min-yisheng and Jin-chagnxie is actually about how to look at the relation of knowing and consciousness, from the point of "non-mixed" or the point of "inseparable". Jin-chagnxie emphasizes on the un-mixed of knowing and consciousness while Min-yisheng, from the point of "inseparable", sees the consistency of the two. This thesis focuses on the argumentation of "the same and different points of liangzhi and consciousness" and "the same and different points of knowing and consciousness", the difference of the two positions and the historical meaning of this argument in ideologies.

Noju Oh Hui-sang's ConfucianismDoctrine and its Characteristics (노주(老洲) 오희상(吳熙常)의 경설(經說)과 그 특징(特徵))

  • Noju Oh Hui-sang was a Confucian who was active during the reign of King Sunjo in late Joseon Dynasty and he also was a master of the Sallim faction. Though he is known as an eclectic Neo-Confucian, he had profound knowledge in the study of Confucian classics as well through succeeding the family study handed down by his father Oh Jae-sun and his oldest brother Oh Yun-sang. This thesis hereby examines Noju's Confucianism doctrine and its characteristics. Noju's Confucianism doctrine is characterized significantly with the following aspects. First, its analyses are detailed overall and it annotates chapters and verses mostly related to Neo-Confucian theories on interpretation of the Confucian classics. Second, it conducts in-depth study not only on Chu Hsi's annotation but also on the small commentaries (小注) in Compendium of the Commentaries on Four Chinese Classics (四書集註大全). In terms of Chu Hsi's theory, however, Noju interprets Confucian classics while supplementing shortcomings on Chu Hsi's theory rather than opposing it. For opinions of all philosophers and scholars on small commentaries, it expresses rather critical theories than supporting ones. Third, it quotes many theories not only of Chinese Confucians but also of Korean ones. It mainly introduces theories of Namdang Han Won-jin, including those of Yi Yulgok. Among them, it particularly has frequent quotations from Han Won-jin's Kyoungyigimunrok (經義記聞錄). Fourth, Noju actively acknowledges senior Confucians' theories many times in quoting them but he also daringly points out their errors when a theory is thought not to be appropriate. He indicates errors one by one in theories not only of Uam and Yulgok but even of Mencius. Fifth, it especially discusses Book of Changes (周易) in depth. It tends to criticize Chengzi's I-Chuan (易傳) but accept Chu Hsi's Benyi (本義). It roughly explains Book of Changes in general but seldom directly accounts for trigrams of it other than Qian trigram and it has detailed explanation especially on Xicizhuan (繫辭傳).
