주묘 사례를 통한 AC-14형과 ASS형 앵커의 파주계수 비교에 관한 연구

  • 묘박 중인 선박은 주묘를 예방하기 위해서는 파주력을 크게 유지해야 하는데, 대부분의 파주력은 앵커에 의해 형성된다. 앵커의 파주력은 앵커의 형태와 수중무게 그리고 해저 저질에 따른 파주계수에 따라 달라진다. AC-14형 앵커는 ASS형 앵커에 비하여 2~2.5배의 파주력을 형성하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 이러한 파주계수는 모형실험 등을 통하여 정해진 것으로 실제 상황에서 그 유효성을 분석한 연구는 거의 없다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 AC-14형 및 ASS형 앵커의 파주계수를 실제 선박에서의 주묘 사례를 분석하여, 현재 사용되고 있는 파주계수의 유효성을 확인하였다.

Estimation of Inbreeding Coefficients and Effective Population Size in Breeding Bulls of Hanwoo (Korean Cattle) (한우 씨수소의 근교계수와 유효집단크기의 추정)

  • This study was carried out to estimate average inbreeding coefficients, relatedness and effective population size of breeding bulls and to suggest optimal alternatives on problems of current Hanwoo improvement system. Data on proven and young bulls were obtained from 1,128 heads of Livestock Improvement Main Center from 1983 to 2008. Pedigree information on proven and young bulls was obtained from 3,760 heads of Korea Animal Improvement Association. Average inbreeding coefficients and average relatedness of proven and young bulls were estimated at the range of 0.04-0.07%, 0.10-6.82%, respectively. Effective population size was estimated for 220 heads from the average rate of inbreeding of last 26 years. Average inbreeding coefficient is rising rapidly for the last two years as well as average relatedness. Effective population size was estimated for 47 heads for the last five years. These results suggest that selection criteria of proven bulls should include not only genetic evaluation of carcass performance from progeny-test, but also inbreeding and relationship coefficients, in order to maintain genetic variability of Hanwoo. In addition, effective population size should be increased by increasing the number of proven bulls.

  • In this paper, temperature dependence of effective ionization coefficient in Si is formulated as a single polynomial function of temperature, which allows analytical expressions for breakdown voltage of Si $p^+n$ junction as a function of temperature. The analytical breakdown voltages agree well with the simulation as well as the experimental ones reported within $3\%$ in error for the doping concentrations in the range of $10^{14}cm^{-3}{\~} 10^{17}cm^{-3}$ at 100K, 300K and 500K.

  • This study is related with assumption of stress block parameter for high-strength concrete. The equivalent stress distribution block of KCI design code isn't matched with the real stress distribution of high strength concrete. In this study, we tried to suggest new type of stress block parameter based on both previous test data and theoretical process.

  • Removal of phosphate from soil by leaching, runoff, and plant uptake is strongly influenced by the content and absorption characteristics of P in soil. In this study the relationships between water soluble phosphate and phosphate retention capacity of the soil was investigated. Water soluble and available phosphate, and phosphate absorption characteristics of 35 paddy soils were measured during incubation at $25^{\circ}C$. Water soluble phosphate content was highly correlated with available phosphate content, phosphorus absorption capacity (PAC), and phosphate absorbed (PS) in air-dried and wet soils. The most significant relationship was found between water soluble phosphate and the ratio of available phosphate and phosphate sorbed, and the relationship $0.01M\;CaCl_2-P=0.0828$ (Av. $P_2O_5/PS$)+0.0374 could be suggested for the estimation of water soluble phosphate from soil phosphorus characteristics.

  • 홉필드 신경망은 병렬 연산 및 일반적 응용성을 가진 장점으로 인해 여러 분야의 조합형 최적화 문제에 도입하기 위해 많은 연구가 이루어져 왔다. 그러나, 다양한 응용분야에서의 성공적 적용 사례에도 불구하고, 에너지 함수의 계수를 결정하는 실용적인 방법의 부재로 인해 대부분의 경우 실험에 의해 얻어진 값에 의존해야 하는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 문제에 대한 해의 유효성을 만족하면서 모델이 최적에 근접할 수 있도록 에너지 수위를 직접 이용하여 계수를 결정하는 정형적인 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 방식은 기존의 계수 결정법과 함께 시뮬레이션을 수행하였으며, 그 결과는 제안한 접근방식이 유효함을 보여준다.

  • Non-linear behavior of rock under compression can be predicted by a crack model. Crack growth in rock renders rock anisotropic. The degree of anisotropy is explained in terms of elastic moduli as a function of load level. In this study, we calculate the changes of elastic moduli due to crack growth numerically by using a crack model and compare these values with experimental results obtained from the measurement of ultrasonic wave velocities. Image processing technique is used to obtain the initial crack information needed for the numerical calculation of elastic moduli.

  • Prestressed composite girders provide efficient composite action by applying prestress to the sub-encasing concrete. In this study, an enhanced prestressed composite girder with forms suspended from the steel girder is utilized. Long-term behavior of the prestressed composite girder is estimated using age-adjusted effective modulus method, which is verified experimentally using measurements obtained from an in-service bridge. Then, parametric study is carried out to investigate the influences caused by ambient temperature, humidity, prestressing and concrete casting date.
