  • Code Optimization is converting to a code that is equivalent to given program but more efficient, and this process is processed in Code Optimizer. This paper designed and processed Code Optimizer Generator that automatically generates Code Optimizer. In other words Code Optimizer is automatically generated for DFA Pattern Matching which finds the optimal code for the incoming pattern description. DFA Pattern Matching removes redundancy comparisons that occur when patterns are sought for through normalization process and improves simplification and structure of pattern shapes for low cost. Automatic generation of Code Optimization for DFA Pattern Matching eliminates extra effort to generate Code Optimizer every time the code undergoes various transformations, and enables formalism of Code Optimization. Also, the advantage of making DFA for optimization is that it is faster and saves cost of Code Optimizer Generator.

  • The IDS/IPS(Intrusion Detection/Prevention System) has been widely deployed to protect the internal network against internet attacks. Reducing the packet inspection time is one of the most important challenges of improving the performance of the IDS/IPS. Since the IDS/IPS needs to match multiple patterns for the incoming traffic, we may have to apply the multiple pattern matching schemes, some of which use finite automata, while the others use the shift table. In this paper, we first show that the performance of those schemes would degrade with various kinds of pattern sets and payload, and then propose a hybrid multiple pattern matching scheme which combines those two schemes. The proposed scheme is organized to guarantee an appropriate level of performance in any cases. The experimental results using real traffic show that the time required to do multiple pattern matching could be reduced effectively.

  • This paper describes Connected Digit Recognition with Considering Acoustic Feature in Korea. The recognition rate of connected digit is usually lower than word recognition. Therefore, speech feature parameter and acoustic feature are employed to make robust model for digit, and we could confirm the effect of Considering. Acoustic Feature throughout the experience of recognition. We used KLE 4 connected digit as database and 19 continuous distributed HMM as PLUs(Phoneme Like Units) using phonetical rules. For recognition experience, we have tested two cases. The first case, we used usual method like using Mel-Cepstrum and Regressive Coefficient for constructing phoneme model. The second case, we used expanded feature parameter and acoustic feature for constructing phoneme model. In both case, we employed OPDP(One Pass Dynamic Programming) and FSA(Finite State Automata) for recognition tests. When appling FSN for recognition, we applied various acoustic features. As the result, we could get 55.4% recognition rate for Mel-Cepstrum, and 67.4% for Mel-Cepstrum and Regressive Coefficient. Also, we could get 74.3% recognition rate for expanded feature parameter, and 75.4% for applying acoustic feature. Since, the case of applying acoustic feature got better result than former method, we could make certain that suggested method is effective for connected digit recognition in korean.

  • An important issue in multiagent reinforcement learning is how an agent should team its optimal policy through trial-and-error interactions in a dynamic environment where there exist other agents able to influence its own performance. Most previous works for multiagent reinforcement teaming tend to apply single-agent reinforcement learning techniques without any extensions or are based upon some unrealistic assumptions even though they build and use explicit models of other agents. In this paper, basic concepts that constitute the common foundation of multiagent reinforcement learning techniques are first formulated, and then, based on these concepts, previous works are compared in terms of characteristics and limitations. After that, a policy model of the opponent agent and a new multiagent reinforcement learning method using this model are introduced. Unlike previous works, the proposed multiagent reinforcement learning method utilize a policy model instead of the Q function model of the opponent agent. Moreover, this learning method can improve learning efficiency by using a simpler one than other richer but time-consuming policy models such as Finite State Machines(FSM) and Markov chains. In this paper. the Cat and Mouse game is introduced as an adversarial multiagent environment. And effectiveness of the proposed multiagent reinforcement learning method is analyzed through experiments using this game as testbed.

  • In this paper, we propose an end-to-end deep learning model combining Bayesian neural network with Korean speech recognition. In the past, Korean speech recognition was a complicated task due to the excessive parameters of many intermediate steps and needs for Korean expertise knowledge. Fortunately, Korean speech recognition becomes manageable with the aid of recent breakthroughs in "End-to-end" model. The end-to-end model decodes mel-frequency cepstral coefficients directly as text without any intermediate processes. Especially, Connectionist Temporal Classification loss and Attention based model are a kind of the end-to-end. In addition, we combine Bayesian neural network to implement the end-to-end model and obtain Monte Carlo estimates. Finally, we carry out our experiments on the "WorimalSam" online dictionary dataset. We obtain 4.58% Word Error Rate showing improved results compared to Google and Naver API.
