System-Level Maintenance Strategy for Steel Bridges based on Life-Cycle Analysis (생애주기분석을 통한 강교량 시스템수준의 유지관리 전략)

  • This paper proposes a method to establish an optical lifetime maintenance strategy for deteriorating bridges in consideration of life-cycle performance and cost. A program is developed based on the proposed method, which can generate optimum maintenance scenarios not only at the individual member level but also at the system level of the bridge. By applying the developed program is studied through the comparative analysis of maintenance strategies generated at each level. According to the results of comparison between maintenance strategies of the member-level analysis and system-level analysis. It is expected that the establishment of a maintenance strategy through the bridge system-level analysis considering target, members reflects practical and reasonable results.

  • Currently, life-cycle cost analysis methods are introduced to maintain large infrastructure facilities in Korea. However, there are not many cases in which maintenance models are applied that reflect conditions such as the location of a facility and its surroundings. In order to establish an appropriate maintenance strategy, a cost prediction, deterioration model, and a decision model reflecting uncertainty should be established. In this study, an economic analysis model was developed for long-term cost planning and management based on user decisions based on maintenance methods and judgment criteria for painting specifications applied to power generation structures. The performance of the paintwork was assessed through the paint deterioration test for the application of the economic analysis model, and the results of the economic analysis according to the applied paint specifications (Urethan, polysiloxane, fluorine) were verified by applying the proposed economic analysis model. In this study, it is believed that the selection of the repair cycle and evaluation methods applied with the development model rather than the performance of the painting can be expected to be used as basic data for the maintenance cycle, even if it is not limited to the painting.

  • 데이터웨어하우스내에서 실체뷰는 소스 데이터에서 갱신이 발생하였을 경우 질의에 정확한 결과를 제공하기 위하여 릴레이션의 변경사항과 동일하게 갱신되어야 한다. 이 뷰를 갱신할 때 전체 릴레이션이 아닌 갱신된 부분만 이용하여 점진적으로 뷰를 관리하는 것이 효과적이다. 뷰의 점진적인 갱신 방법중에서 부가화일을 이용한 방법은 부가적으로 유지하는 정보의 양이 적고 뷰 관리 비용이 적게 든다는 장점이 있다. 이 논문에서는 이 방법에 의해 뷰를 관리할 때의성능을 평가하기 위하여 이 방법의 비용 모델을 분석적으로 제시하였으며, 이 모델을 기반으로 성능을 비교, 분석하여 부가 파일을 이용한 방법이 다른 기존의 방법보다 성능이 우수함을 보였다.

Development of Domestic Pattern Frame Method for Skid Resistance Pavement (미끄럼 방지 도로 포장을 위한 국내형 패턴 프레임 공법 개발)

  • As increasing social needs of pavement maintenance, pattern frame method has been constructed in Korea. The pattern frame not only increases the skid resistance of pavements but also improve the scenery. However, construction of the pattern frame currently relies on imported materials. In this paper, we localize the materials used in pattern frame and conduct performance verification on them. The important performance indicators are the adhesion strength of undercoating materials and the skid resistance of finished pattern frames. The adhesion strength was targeted at 1.4MPa, and the localization alternative material met the target performance with 2.35MPa, the skid resistance performance was targeted at 40BPN, and the localization alternative material met the target performance with 75BPN. In the case of localized materials, approximately 40% cost reduction (per 1m2)compared to imported materials was confirmed.

  • Generally, asset management procedure consists of exact information collection, decision of service level, analysis of aspiration level, analysis of financial condition and available budget, preparation of asset management plan, and value of modified asset. In this study, for the risk-based asset management, condition assessment and performance measuring, assessment of failure modes and risks, evaluation/selection of treatment options, and implementation of optimum solution are additionally included. For this, bridge inventory and performance measure considering risks are classified and method of quantitative/qualitative performance measure is suggested. Also, evaluation method of risk analysis for bridge asset management is suggested and basic research is carried out for applicable method of risk-based asset management. Using suggested risk procedure and method of risk-based bridge service level evaluation, it is possible to perform resonable asset management. Moreover, it is concluded that the proposed applicable method of risk-based asset management will provide a solution to contribute the development of systematical asset management for optimal decision making and prototype asset management system.

  • Since the 1960s, though there were brisk supply in apartment housing, there were no preparation in standard for to extend the life(durability) of apartment housing by maintaining the $social{\cdot}physical$ aspect of apartment housing, and in standard maintenance system. So problem such as facilities safety and residence environment has occurred. Like the condition written above, efficient usage of housing resource by the maintenance of apartment housings in a state of great urgency. In service aspect of apartment housing, establishment of accurate long term repair plan and estimate of repair appropriation fund can prevent housing's fast-deterioration. But to the performers of the maintenance, like house managers and the tenants at the subject building has little awareness of necessity in establishment of accurate long term repair plan and accumulation of repair appropriation fund. Unestablishment of long term repair plan arises problem such as approval of repair appropriation fund's unreasonable accumulation. Hence, for the utmost performance of apartment housing and to extend the economic life of a building, the method of establishment of long term repair plan and estimate of repair appropriation fund on reliable basis is to be proposed.

  • Infrastructure asset management can be defined as the long term and cost effective management strategy to meet the required service level. In most developed countries, the major motivations of the introduction of asset management are increment in number of assets, extension of maintenance field, accounting approaches of public facilities, performance-based FM(Facility Management), limitations of public funds and public-private partnership, life cycle cost approach, and the development of information technology. This paper discusses the strategic and stepwise methods of introducing infrastructure asset management. Strategic approaches are suggested to develop the practical methods of condition and value assessment of assets, and long-term capital investment plan for optimized decision making(ODM). Required systematic processes are analyzed in terms of resource and technical limitations and detailed implementation plan for each development phases are suggested.

  • 국내 가동원전에서는 내화방벽 관통부의 성능이 적절하게 유지되도록 주기점검절차, 데이터베이스 등 발전소 상황에 적합한 관리방안을 수립하여 운영하고 있다. 이 중에서 내화방벽 관통부 유지관리용으로 구축된 데이터베이스는 관통부 유지관리에 필요한 필수정보가 수록되어 있으나 관통부 담당자의 개인 관리도구로 활용되고 있으므로 실효성 향상이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 점을 보완하기 위하여 발전소 구조물, 관통부 등의 3차원 형상정보(3-dimensional Plant Model)를 활용하여 시각적인 관리 편의를 향상시키고, 웹 기반(Web-based)의 관통부 정보 구축을 통하여 발전소 수준(Plant-level)에서 관리가 가능한 관통부 관리시스템 개발 사례를 기술하였다.

  • 기업의 비즈니스 프로세스를 관리하는 역할을 하는 워크플로우 시스템에서 대용량의 비즈니스 업무를 처리하기 위한 초대형 워크플로우 시스템을 구성하고자 할 때 중요한 문제 중의 하나는 대량의 비즈니스 프로세스 인스턴스를 유지 및 관리하는 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 초대형 워크플로우에 대한 개념을 조사하고 초대형 워크플로우 시스템을 위하여 제안된 워크케이스 기반 워크플로우 구조를 이용하여 성능평가를 위한 기본적인 워크플로우 기능인 비즈니스 프로세스 처리부분에 초점을 맞춘 워크플로우 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다. 구현된 워크플로우 시스템으로 예제 프로세스인 고용 프로세스를 정의하여 몇 개의 고용 프로세스를 유지 및 관리 할 수 있는 지를 분석하여 본 논문의 초대형 워크플로우 시스템의 성능을 평가한다.
