  • The portion of plant industry has increased within construction market. In spite of plant industry is dynamic field which leads state-of-the-art and creates a value, phased information management and knowledge intensive business accomplishment are insufficient. Henceforth plant is expected to demand increment of industrial project from hereafter international plant industry market. The continuous plan technique and know-how accumulation are urgent from domestic. 1'his research analyzes the areas in which domestic plant industry is insufficient and then elicits project management key success factors from current operation process. In addition, this research compares domestic plant level with overseas plant level. This study establishes work models for critical work phases based on the analysis of domestic plant technical level.

Fire Extinguisher Maintenance System using Smart NFC Communication and Real-Time Pressure Measurement (스마트 NFC 통신과 실시간 압력 측정을 이용한 소화기 유지관리 시스템)

  • In this paper, the fire extinguisher maintenance system using smart NFC communication and the real-time pressure measurement is proposed. The proposed system consists of three steps in the flow of information. The first step is to identify the fire extinguisher through NFC tagging in the fire extinguisher module using the smart device. The fire extinguisher appearance check and the real-time pressure measurement is performed in the second step, and the last step sends the check status information to the management server. In particular, the actual pressure value is calculated based on the angle of the green area and the indicating needle. Some experiments are conducted so as to verify the proposed system, and as a result, the proposed system shows that the administrator can effectively control the status information of fire safety check.

  • The present study proposes the definition of service life and the end-of-life criterion for bridge maintenance. Bridges begin to deteriorate as soon as they are put into service. Effective bridge maintenance requires sound understanding of the deterioration mechanism as well as the expected service life. In order to determine the expected service life of a bridge for effective bridge maintenance, it is necessary to have a clear definition of service life and end-of-life. However, service life can be viewed from several perspectives based on literature review. The end of a bridge's life can be also defined by more than one perspective or performance measure. This study presents definition of service life which can be used for bridge maintenance and the end-of life criterion using the performance measure such as a damage score. The regression model can predict an average service life of bridges using the proposed end-of-life criterion.

  • Purpose: Currently, port facility informatization technology is focused on the planning and design phases, so the necessity of research and technology development on the port facility maintenance system based on life cycle-level information is emphasized. Method: Based on the maintenance history data of port facilities and facility operation information, from the perspective of the life cycle of port facilities, the system is configured to enable maintenance decisions for port facilities through analysis of aging patterns, performance degradation prediction models, and risk analysis and proposed a method of expressing information. Result: A function was developed to simultaneously display the SOC performance evaluation and the comprehensive performance evaluation developed in this study, so that mid-to long-term maintenance and reinforcement and facility expansion can be applied and comparatively judged. Conclusion: The integrated port performance system developed in this study induces and supports the risk minimization of port facility management by proactively promoting appropriate repair and reinforcement measures through historical and operational information on port facilities.

  • 국도는 사회간접자본 중 하나로서 지속적으로 관리되어야 그 기능을 발휘할 수 있는 국가의 중요한 자산이다. 지금까지는 국도를 포장관리시스템이라는 체계로 관리하여왔다. 이 포장관리시스템은 시설물유지관리차원에서 사회기반시설을 관리하는 것으로서 주로 관리자 관점에서 공학적 판단을 기준으로 최소의 비용으로 공용수명을 최대화하는 모델이다. 그러나 경제발전으로 국민의 소득수준이 올라감에 따라 기본적인 욕구가 해결되어 이제는 납세자로서 국민의 동의는 국가의 정책을 결정하는데 중요한 변수로 작용하기 시작했다. 따라서 사용자 관점의 평가는 이러한 요구의 수준을 측정할 수 있는 중요한 척도가 되었으며 이에 기반한 LoS(Level of Service, 서비스 수준)라는 지수를 시설물 자산관리에 활용하려는 여러 가지 시도가 있다. 이 논문에서는 기존 국도포장관리시스템의 정보모델과 KTAM-40(Korea Total Asset Management-40)이라는 자산관리 정보모델을 비교하여 LoS의 필요성과 도로포장자산관리에서 LoS가 사용자 관점을 반영하는 방식을 조명해 이의 장점을 밝히고자 한다.

  • A methodology of selecting an optimal model is proposed for applying a frequency-domain SI method effectively. Instead of using a reduced finite element model, a reasonably detail finite element model is established first and then the model is identified. To satisfy the identifiability criterion, a parameter grouping scheme is applied to control the number of unknowns. Among the simulated member grouping cases, an optimal model is selected as the one with the minimal statistical error. The proposed approach has been examined through simulation studies on a single span box-girder bridge.

  • The fragility analyses for the partially filled horizontal cylindrical tank having a flexible wall were conducted to evaluate seismic performance. An equivalent simplified model with two lumped masses representing to impulsive and convective masses was used to represent the liquid storage system. This simplified model was validated by comparing its time history analysis results with the 3D FSI model results. The horizontal tank was analyzed under bi-directional excitations. Seismic fragility curves for the stability were developed in transverse and longitudinal directions. Fragility curves show that seismic damage for the horizontal storage system is more susceptible in the transverse direction.

  • The physical factor having a great influence among components of making values of profit model in apartment houses is equilibrium change of house and this study suggests an alternative of remodelling. It sets profit models including model dividing household of large scale into that of small scale using value making factor of apartment house and spatial composition techniques and model integrating households of small scale and converting them into those of large scale and finds that its economy is good as over 'average', evaluative value of economy is reduced as discount rate increases and economy of remodelling is superior.

  • According to the public information of the Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development, the construction project of educational facilities from 2005 to 2007 will use BTL (Build-Transfer-Lease) contract. Budget of those projects will be the worth over 13 trillion won. In this research, the estimation standards for the public health maintenance expenses are established which is the part of the operation and maintenance cost in the total BTL project cost. Also, a system core module using the developed standard was introduced in this paper. A comparative analyses were conducted with the several possible estimation case to validate the system developed.

  • 최근 한국에서는 기후변화에 따른 영향으로 집중호우의 발생 빈도와 강우강도 증가 및 지속적인 도시침수로 인한 인명 및 재산 피해가 발생하고 있다. 도시침수 예측은 수치모델링, 강우기반의 침수예측 연구가 주를 이루고 있으며, 정량적인 침수계측데이터를 활용한 분석기술은 부족한 실정이다. 침수지도, 침수예측 결과 검증과 더불어 센서기반의 정량적인 침수심 계측 결과를 활용한 도시침수 관리기술 개발이 필요하다. 현재 개발된 침수센서는 개발 주체에 따라 센서 관리 규정이 각각 상이하며, 정해진 규격과 기본적인 성능기준이 부재함에 따라 예산, 유지관리 등 비효율적인 사례가 발생하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 침수센서의 설치시 효율화와 시행착오 등을 방지하기 위해 침수센서의 설치 및 운영에 필요한 성능기준과 설치방법 등을 가이드라인으로 제시하고자 하였다. 가이드라인을 작성하기 위해 도심지 침수센서 관련 설치절차, 설치위치 선정방안, 측정주기, 점검 및 관리 방안 등에 대한 국내외 사례를 조사하였으며, 사례 분석을 통해 침수센서 가이드라인 목차를 도출하였다. 가이드라인 목차로는 침수센서 세부구성 및 작동원리를 기술한 표준모델 구축 방안과 지표, 지표하 등의 계측지점별 센서 설치방안, 현장설치 절차도, 시운전지침으로 구성하였다. 향후 가이드라인을 통해 침수센서를 효율적으로 운영하여 도시침수 발생시 선제적 대응체계 강화 방안 마련에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
