Design of a Multi Dielectric Coating against Non-invaisive Attack (비침투형 공격에 강한 다중 유전체 코팅 설계)

  • In general, IC chip circuit which is operating a cryptographic computation tends to radiate stronger electromagnetic signal to the outside. By using a power detecter such as a loop antenna near cryptographic device, the encryption key can be identified by probing a electromagnetic signal. To implement a method against non-invasive type attack, multi dielectric slab structure on IC chip to suppress radiated electromagnetic signal was introduced. Multiple dielectric slab was implemented by suitably configured to have the Bragg reflection characteristics, and then the reflection response was computed and verified its effectiveness. As a result, the thickness of the dielectric coating was 2mm and the reflection response characteristics for the vertical incidence was achieved to be 91% level.

  • 최근 유전자 염기서열분석방법이 새롭게 등장하면서 대량의 생물정보의 데이터가 축적되고 있다. 다양한 생물종의 유전체 정보에 대하여 관련 연구자들에게 유용한 정보를 제공하기 위해서는 분석된 유전체 정보를 빠르게 전달할 필요가 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 분석된 유전체 정보에 대한 데이터베이스를 구축하고 이를 모바일 환경에서 손쉽게 탐색할 수 있는 클라이언트 앱을 개발하였다. 유전체 정보에 대한 데이터베이스는 BioMart를 사용하였다. BioMart의 데이터베이스 스키마를 기반으로 웹서비시스 방법을 통하여 모바일 환경의 기기와 연동할 수 있도록 하였다. 개발된 시스템의 검증을 위해서 BioMart의 유전자내용을 검색 할 수 있는 질의를 통하여 모바일기기에서 인간의 유전체 정보를 네비게이션 할 수 있도록 하였다.

Prediction of Core Promoter Region with Dependency - Reflecting Decomposition Model (의존성 반영 분해모델에 의한 유전자의 핵심 프로모터 영역 예측)

  • A lot of microbial genome projects have been completed to pour the enormous amount of genomic sequence data. In this context. the problem of identifying promoters in genomic DNA sequences by computational methods has attracted considerable research attention in recent years. In this paper, we propose a new model of prokaryotic core promoter region including the -10 region and transcription initiation site, that is Dependency-Reflecting Decomposition Model (DRDM), which captures the most significant biological dependencies between positions (allowing for non-adjacent as well as adjacent dependencies). DRDM showed a good result of performance test and it will be employed effectively in predicting promoters in long microbial genomic Contigs.

  • The electromagnetic diffraction problem for the incidence of E-polarized planewave on both interfaces of an arbitrary-angled dielectrc wedge is solved in conjunction with the edge condition near the tip of dielectric wedge in the static limit. The diffraction coefficients obtained by the tip of the wedge, the diffraction coefficients presented in this paper approach more closely to the exact pattem of a perfectly conducting wedge as the relative dielectric constants of the dielectric wedge increase.

  • A new damping composite materials with asphalt and EM absorber are studied for high advantage values. The composite Ni-Zn ferrite and dielectric PZT with a main material is well developed of EM absorbing, and is continuous maintained of origin character, damping absorbing. Experiments and calculation results are shown to act two points frequencies at 928MHz and from 2MHz to 4GHz below -l0dB The narrow band widths of ferrite change to broad band as insert of dielectric material, PZT good of EM wave absorbtion and broad band widths in multi layers with ferrite These are applied to develop of new material at new need frequencies.

  • A series feedback DRO operating at 3.2 GHz applicable to the spectrum analyzer as the second local oscillator, is designed and fabricated. We can obtain a low noise by utilizing the small signal S-parameter of the transistor and adjusting the reflection coefficient from the coupling coefficient between dielectric resonator and microstrip line. The results show that output power is 10.50 dBm, a stable low phase noise is -116 dBc/Hz at a 10 kHz offset frequency and a harmonic characteristic is 19.33 dBc.

  • This paper proposed a novel broadband ceramic dielectric antenna by improving the conventional broadband technique that very high permittivity material is attaching to one side of low permittivity material. The broadband ceramic dielectric antenna can be designed by using our proposed method, and it overcomes the disadvantage of narrow bandwidth problem. For the proposed ceramic dielectric antenna, a 10 dB return-loss bandwidth of 33.9% has been achieved. The measurement and numerical results(Finite Element Method) are performed and confirmed to a good agreement with each other. The proposed ceramic dielectric antenna is designed and implemented to extend enough the coverage of dual band (PCS+IMT-2000).

  • This paper presents the analysis of the impedance characteristic of the strip type waveguide mount backed by the dielectric substrate using mode the matching and induced EMF method. The part of the waveguide containing the dielectric substrate is modeled as waveguide partially filled with the dielectric, and a hybrid mode analysis has been conducted for the structure. The electromagnetic scattering problem by the dielectric substrate is solved by the mode matching method using the calculated modal function. The input impedance seen at the mount gap is calculated by the induced EMF method using the calculated results. the calculated results thus obtained has been verified through comparison with the results by other numerical methods. The effect of some structure parameters such as the width of the substrate and the gap size on the mount impedance is investigated.

  • With the progress of NGS technologies, large genome data have been exploded recently. To analyze such data effectively, the assistance of HPC technique is necessary. In this paper, we organized a genome analysis pipeline to call SNP from NGS data. To organize the pipeline efficiently under HPC environment, we analyzed the CPU utilization pattern of each pipeline steps. We found that sequence alignment is computing centric and suitable for parallelization. We also analyzed the performance of parallel open source alignment tools and found that alignment method utilizing many-core processor can improve the performance of genome analysis pipeline.

  • In this paper, we analyze inner- and far-field emitted field pattern by more exactly calculating modes formed from a finite periodic dielectric structure(FPDS). It is assumed that TE-modes are generated in FPDS, and the fields in each layer are determined by proper boundary conditions. Consequently, the fields generate modes in the FPDS and the number of modes depends on its structural characteristics. In this work, the modes betwween dielectric layers and their field patterns are calculated in a specific frequency. In addition. far field patterns are given by using FFT of the calculated modes.
