Antigenic localization in Parofonimn iloktsuenensis worm tissues (tegument, intestine and vitelline gland) in different developmental stages of 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks, 5 weeks and 33 weeks from albino rats (Sprague-Dawley) infected with P iloktsuenensis was observed by electron microscopy. These worm tissues of different developmental stage of R iloktsuenensis was observed on electromicrograph by immunogold labeling method using R iLoktsuenensis infected rat serum of 10 weeks. Antigenic localization was demonstrated as labeling of gold particles in tissues on electronmicrograph. In tegument, gold particles were labeled on tegumental tissue, generally more numerous on secretory granules in tegumental syncytium 2 weeks than those on the other elder developmental stages, but there was a little variation in antigenicity according to individual worm tissue. In general, antigenicity in tegumental tissue was not strong (gold particles: 0.1-5/1 Mm2). In intestine, a large number of gold particles (15-18/1 Mm2) were labeled in intestinal epithelium. Gold particles were concentrated especially on secretory granules in cytoplasm, and gold particles were labeled not only in cytoplasmic protrusions, but also in intestinal luminal contents. Intencity of labeling of gold particles was not correlated with developmental stage of worms. In vitelline gland, a large number of gold particles were labeled on vitelline globules. The gold particles in vitelline globules (8- 11/1 Mm2) were concentrated in protoplasm among segmental globules . Digital ink-jet printing system has many advantages such as fast and fine printing of various images, high efficiency and low cost process. Generally digital ink-jet printing requires ceramic pigments of cyan, magenta, yellow and black with thermal and glaze stability above $1000^{\circ}C$ for the application of porcelain product design. In this study, pink-red colored $CaO-SnO_2-Cr_2O_3-SiO_2$ pigment was synthesized using solid state reaction. The synthesis conditions of $Ca(Cr,Sn)SiO_5$ pigment such as annealing temperature, amount of mineralizer and non-stoichiometric composition were optimized. Crystal structure and morphology of the obtained $Ca(Cr,Sn)SiO_5$ pigment were analyzed using XRD, SEM, PSA, FT-IR and effect of Cr substitution on the pigment color was analyzed using Uv-vis. spectrophotometer and CIE $L^*a^*b^*$ measurement.
Effects of Phaseoli Semen rubra Herbal-acupuncture at zusanli(ST-36), Quchi(LI-11) and Sanyinjiao(Sp-6) on lipid composition, liver function, oxidative capacity and molecular biological aspects were investigate in high fat diet induced obese rats. Forty male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing about 400g were divided into 4 groups according to body weight and raised four weeks with control, zusanli(ST-36), Quchi(LI-11) and Sanyinjiao(Sp-6) Herbal-acupuncture groups. 1. Plasma total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol showed a low values in the (ST-36) and (LI-11) Herbal-acupuncture groups and HDL-cholesterol showed a high values in the (ST-36) Herbal-acupuncture groups. 2. Plasma triglyceride and glucose showed a low values in the (ST-36) and (LI-11) Herbal-acupuncture groups. 3. The contents of plasma free fatty acids showed a tendence to decrease in the Herbal-acupuncture groups, however in the Herbal-acupuncture groups, the values showed no significantly different. 4. The activities of AST and ALT showed no significantly different in all treatment groups. 5. The contents of plasma ${\beta}-lipoprotein$ and free fatty acids showed a tendency to decrease in the Herbal-acupuncture groups compared to those of control group. In the Herbal-acupuncture groups, the values of (ST-36) and (LI-11) Herbal-acupuncture groups showed a low in the acupuncture groups. 6. Liver total cholesterol and triglyceride showed a low values in the (ST-36) and (LI-11) Herbal-acupuncture groups. 7. Contents of plasma TBARS showed a low values in the (ST-36) and (LI-11) Herbal-acupuncture groups, however contents of liver TBARS showed no significantly different among treatment groups. 8. Values of liver glutathione peroxidase and catalase activity showed a tendency to increase in the (ST-36) and (LI-11) Herbalacupuncture groups. Values of liver super oxide dismutase activity showed a high in the (ST-36) Herbal-acupuncture groups compared to those of other groups. 9. Expression of apo-B mRNA in liver cell showed a low in (ST-36) Herbal-acupuncture groups, however expression of apo-E mRNA showed a high in Herbal-acupuncture groups and $TNF-{\alpha}$ mRNA in adipose cell showed no different among all the treatment groups. Expression of Leptin mRNA showed a tendance to decrease in (ST-36) Herbal-acupuncture group. 10. Histological character of liver, those of (ST-36) Herbal-acupuncture group showed a good, however other treatment groups showed slight vasodilation and slight fat accumulation. These results indicated that Phaseoli Semen rubra Herbal-acupuncture at (ST-36) and (LI-22) suppressed adipose tissue mass and lipid peroxidation and increased antioxidant system.

Dentinogenesis imperfecta is an inherited disorder of dentin formation, usually exhibiting an autosomal dominant mode of transmission. Type I dentinogenesis imperfecta occurs in patients afflicted with osteogenesis imperfecta. Type II dentinogenesis imperfecta is not associated with osteogenesis imperfecta. Type III dentinogenesis imperfecta (Brandywine type) occurs in a racial isolate area in the state of Maryland. In all three types, teeth of both dentitions are affected with variable clinical appearances. The teeth are opalescent with the color ranging from bluish-gray to brown to yellowish. The dentin is abnormally soft, providing inadequate functional support to the overlying enamel. Although the enamel is normal, it fractures or chips away easily, exposing the occlusal and incisal dentin. The exposed soft dentin often undergoes rapid and severe functional attrition. The teeth exhibit bulb-shaped crowns with constricted cementoenamel junctions and thin roots. The teeth will exhibit varying stages of obliteration of the coronal and root pulpal chambers. The cementum, periodontal ligament and supporting alveolar bone appear normal. The enamel is normal. The mantle dentin remains nearly normal, whereas the remaining dentin is severely dysplastic. The dentinal tubules are disoriented, irregular, widely spaced, and usually larger than normal.
The effect of juvenile hormone analogue(JHA, Manina) on larval feeding duration, pupation ratio, cocoon weight, and cocoon shell weight in the present commercial parent and hybrid silkworm stocks were investigated. Topical applications of JHA on parent silkworm stocks were to prolong larval duration, but results of response on those stocks were not consistent. Especially the JHA on Jam 121, Jam 123 and Jam 138 did not play a role in larval duration, whereas that on Jam 114 was most effective in prolongation more than two days, compared with the controls. subsequent prolongation of feeding duration resulted in increase of cocoon weight and cocoon shell weight of most parent silkworm stocks, while Jam 114 showed decrease in cocoon weight and cocoon shell weight in spite of prolonged feeding duration of two days. Unlike the parent silkworm stocks, durations of feeding period in all hybrid silkworm stocks were prolonged about one day. Treatments of JHA on the hybrid stocks gave rise to increase of cocoon weight and cocoon shell weight, and especially were most effective in Sasung-jam, Eunbaek-jam and Samgwang-jam. Although treatments of JHA seemed to have no harmful effect on physiology of parent silkworm stocks as well as that of hybrid stocks, the JHA retarded pupation ratio of some parent silkworm stocks such as Jam 122, 131, 135 and 138 by about 10%.
While the project for registering the unregistered relics that had been stored in the relic storage warehouse was in progress, restoration operations were started for the large size pottery pieces that had been excavated from the Geumgangsa Temple Site and it is attempted to explain the pottery pieces and to introduce the process of the overall conservation treatment. About 600 pieces of large size pottery had been separately stored in more than 40 relic boxes in their original damaged condition without making it possible to figure out their shape, size, usage and quantity at all. Due to the enormous number and weight of the pottery pieces, they were, first of all, pre-classified largely into 6 groups of pottery pieces in consideration of the visible features such as pottery thickness, color sense and glaze brilliance, etc. for each kind of pottery raw material. However, as a result of making them adhere together on a temporary basis, they turned out to be only one piece of pottery in reality. In this restoring process, in order to see if the generally used cyanoacrylate adhesive was in fact safe when a very large, heavy and deformed pottery piece was to be put together, its safeness was checked by examining the adhesion velocity, adhesion strength and dissolution velocity for both from low to high viscosities through preliminary experiments. In order to restore the lost parts after putting the existing pieces together, diversified epoxy resins were used to fit their shapes. Considering that the bottom of the restored relic was shaped to be not flat but round without allowing it to stand alone, an exhibition mount was manufactured so that the relic could be stored stably and used readily for exhibition.
This study tries to find out the properties of soft ind hard white wares of white wares from Dudong-ri in a scientific way, especially by meant of physical chemical analysis, microstructural observation. As a result, In the physical analysis, soft white wares are found to have higher absorption and porosity. In the composition analysis, the chemical property, of body and glaze, shows that the composition of them varies with excavation areas. However, no clear difference is identified between the soft and hard white wares which are from the ssme kiln. The microstructural observation visibly shows the difference of hard and soft white wares which it verified in the physical property Minerals with round pores and vitrified feldspar are observed in the body of hard white wares, but no vitrified particles but widely distributed pores with long and sharp irregular shapes are found in the body of soft white wares. In conclusion, the hard and soft white wares from Dudong-ri kiln are mainly influenced by physical property and microstructural rather than chemical composition and firing atmospheres. However, more and various comparative studies are needed since the resources with various physical properties vary among kilns of each production area.
Since it is imperative to share the values with the spectators to convince the public of the era, the main characters of a story that underwent numerous adaptation through time would change gradually. This paper examined changes of the main characters in various versions of Cinderella. Until the mid-20th century, Cinderella would be portrayed as a meek, passive and obedient girl as in the original fairy tale version of Perrault. As moving to 70s, a heroine who acts with her own feelings and thoughts began to appear. In the 90s, spectators could meet a protagonist who fought fiercely to be the owner of her own fate, and in the recent Disney movie, Cinderella stood up for herself while accepting herself as she was. The prince character also underwent similar transition. In the early versions of Cinderella, the prince would be a vague figure with a title who was desired by all maids in the country. It is in the 70s that the prince began to be portrayed as a person who has his own problems. In the recent years, the spectators could see the process that the prince transformed from a naive aristocrat to a man with responsibilities. In modern society, women have more social opportunities compared to the past, and women's social statuses do not need to be secured by relationship with men any longer. Thus Cinderella story is not as popular nowadays, moreover somebody whose dream is becoming Cinderella would subject to social reproach. However, beside the gender, the story could be the only hope for people who feel a sense of helplessness that there is no chance in their lives. As result variations of Cinderella story will go on as long as people of social deprivation exist.

This study is aimed to interpret the raw material characteristics and manufacturing technology through physical, mineral and geochemical analysis of the brown-glazed stonewares and roof tiles excavated from the Hong Nang Sida temple in Laos, which was built in the 12th century. The glaze of brown-glazed stoneware is a typical lime serial with CaO content of more than 15 % and they were vitrified. The body is the combination of quartz, mullite and cristobalite, but had not vitrified texture, and therefore, which is assumed to have been fired more than 950 ℃. Meanwhile, The roof tiles are unglazed and its outer color is reddish brown, whitish grey and bluish grey. The bluish gray tiles has sandwich structure, which seem to experience imperfect reducing environment. The tile samples with a number of amorphous iron oxide nodule had a very similar chemical composition. In conclusion, it is assumed that the clay source was made from raw material produced from the same bedrock. The firing temperature of roof tiles were divided into less than 900 ℃, 900~950 ℃ and greater than 950 ℃ according to detection of micas, hercynite and mullite.
In order to examine a physiological role of juvenile(JH) binding proteins in the hemolymph of the silkworm larva, Bombyx mori, [3H] JH I incubated hemolymph was separated by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis in the fifth-instar larva and the activity of the binding protein was analyzed using charcoal binding assay. The results obtained were as follows; 1. The JH was bound by two protein fractions in the hemolymph of the fifth-instar larva; One was JH binding lipoprotein(JH-LP), the other was JH speific binding protein(JHBP). Their relative mobility values(Rm) were 0.3∼0.33 and 0.81∼0.84, respectively. There were no valid differences in those values from developmental stages of both male and female silkworms. 2. Total protein contents of the hemolymph were gradually increased during the fifth-instar larva, while at the prepupa decreased. The maximum ones were observed at the spinning period and the contents from female were much higher than those from the male. 3. JH binding activity per ml of the hemolymph was low in the early stage of the fifth-instar larva and its activity was maximized at the psinning period and at the prepupa slightly decreased. 4. There was a similar pattern between changes of the JH binding activity per ml of the hemolymph and of the total protein contents of the hemolymph. 5. The JH binding activity per mg of the hemolymph proteins was high in the early stage of the fifth-instar larva, while from the 6th day of the fifth-instar larva to the prepupa its activity showed the lowest levels.
