This study aims to identify research trends in adaptation of young children from multicultural families in order to provide insights for researchers around research topics and cultural adaptation orientation of young children from multicultural families. Subjects of this study were 41 literatures with key words of'young children from multicultural families', 'adaptation', and'life'through paper search system. This study was analysed the research themes, methods, subjects, and perspectives of cultural adaptation in adaptation researches of young children from multicultural families, 2006-2017 from peer reviewed journals with analysis frameworks. The results showed that : (a) the most common research topic continues to be about adaptation conditions of young children from multicultural families; (b) among research methods, quantitative research has most frequently used in, followed by qualitative methods, mixed methods, and literature review; (c) cultural adaptation was focused on the perspective of social-cultural adaptation, developmental importance of adaptation in early childhood and problems-based research. It implicated that further researches are need to focused on psychological adaptation and formation of classroom community beyond personal and structural adaptation in preschools.

The purpose of this study purpose was to analyze the structural model of variables such as experiences and personal- and professional- beliefs of cultural diversity, and the culturally responsive teaching efficacy of early childhood preservice teachers including identifying the beliefs as mediating variables. Another purpose was finding the different structural relations among the research variables according to the stages of a teacher education program. The participants were 273 students who enrolled in K grade teacher education programs in the southwest areas of the U.S. The research variables were measured with the items used by Schroeder (2008), Pohan and Aguilar (2001), and Siwatu (2007). The structural equation model analysis showed that the direct effects were found between the paths from the cultural diversity experiences and personal beliefs to the culturally responsive teaching efficacy, from the experiences to personal beliefs, from the personal to professional beliefs. The personal beliefs were identified as a mediator of the path from the experiences to professional beliefs. By multi-group analysis, the path from professional beliefs to the culturally teaching efficacy showed a meaningful difference between the initial and final stage groups of a teacher education program. Suggestions for future research and early childhood teacher education programs were presented based on the results.

This study aimed to find out how gratitude disposition and creative personality affect teacher professionalism in 384 pre-service early childhood teachers. Data were analyzed using descriptive statics, Pearson correlation, multiple regression, and Sobel test for mediating effect. The results of the study were as follows: First, the average value was high in the order of teaching professionalism, gratitude disposition, and creative personality of pre-service early childhood teachers. Second, there was a positive corelation between pre-service early childhood teachers' gratitude disposition and creative personality, gratitude disposition and teaching professionalism. Third, as a result of examining the relative effects of gratitude disposition and creative personality on teaching professionalism, persistance was found to be the strongest predictor among creative personality.

This study was to investigate 1) the effect of the variables (age, education level, average monthly income, occupation) relating to the multi-cultural family father(MF) on children's vocabulary(CV), 2) the relationship between the father's participation in their children's fostering(FPCF) and CV. FPCF in 24 MFs and CV were evaluated using the questionnaire, interview. The results are as follows: 1) There were significant correlations among father's education level, average income, occupation, and CV. FPCF scores. 2) There were no significant correlation between father's age and CV. 3) There were significant correlations between FPCF scores and CV. And some interview examples were illustrated in this paper.

본 논문에서는 유아를 위한 환경 지식정보를 2D 애니메이션으로 제작하여 유아에게 환경오염의 심각성을 알리고 예방 교육에 활용 할 수 있게 함으로서 유아의 환경교육 및 홍보에 의한 환경문화 육성에 목적을 둔다. 공기 오염과 에너지의 중요성에 대한 2D 애니메이션 소프트웨어를 제작하고 사전조사와 사후 조사를 통하여 유아들의 이해도가 향상되었음을 알 수 있다.

This research is about how infants' multi-cultural recognition and their sphere of activity can be changed when married immigrant women and infants' homeroom teachers were put together in the infants' multi-cultural teaching program. The subjects(children under 5) were selected in "S" city of Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. And they were divided into experimental group 1, experimental group 2, and the control group. And this research did a pretest and post-test for the 60 children. The result of this research can be summarized into three parts. Therefore, it is possible to suggest that the improvement of infants' diversity recognition is affected by a certain kind of teacher and that he/ she can improve the infants' play ability. Experimental group 1 is proceeded by both married immigrant woman and the infants's homeroom teacher. Experimental group 2 was managed by only the homeroom teacher who was going through the same program as the teachers above. The control group was managed by a general nurturing program. This research did do a pretest and post-test for this experiment. -by Chun-Ok. Lee was used for infant's multi-cultural measurement. Mee-sook. Kim's measurement was used for measurement of playfulness between same age children. Meaningful differences was exposed in experimental group 1, experimental group 2, and the control group in sequence. The two experimental groups who had experienced a multi-cultural program seemed to have higher playfulness.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effects of young children's emotional intelligence and prosocial behaviors on their leadership. The subjects were 400 children aged 4 to 5 in the metropolitan area in South Korea. Subjects' emotional intelligence, prosocial behaviors, and leadership were measured by their teachers using questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analyses, and analysis of multiple regression using SPSS 23.0. Young children's emotional intelligence as well as prosocial behaviors showed the positive correlations with their leadership. In addition, young children's emotional intelligence and prosocial behaviors had the positive effects on their leadership.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of early childhood teachers' job stress and grit on their turnover intention. The subjects were 395 early childhood teachers in the metropolitan areas, and they fulfilled the survey questionnaires on job stress, grit, and turnover intention. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analyses, and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS 22.0. In relationships with early childhood teachers' turnover intention, job stress showed negative correlations, but grit showed positive correlations. Both job stress and grit were revealed to have the effects on turnover intention. Since high rate of early childhood teachers' turnover might have negative impact on young children's development along with the quality of education, the results of this study suggest the importance of efforts to reduce job stress and to improve grit.

The purpose of this study is to qualitatively examine the play experience and meaning of young children who enjoy the appreciation of picture books based on the 2019 revised Nuri curriculum centered on children and play, and furthermore, various play imaginations and ideas in picture books are realized by T robot. The collected various play cases were analyzed by arranging them into play flow diagrams centering on each picture book, and based on this, the meaning of play was discovered by categorizing play through reading the meaning of play. Therefore, this study is meaningful in that it supports <Picture Book-linked Young Children's Robot Play>, a play experience in which various playful imaginations in picture books are realized by young children's robots, and examines the experience of creatively creating play led by young children in depth, and furthermore, it is valuable in providing a basis for the direction of play-centered SW education centered on young children.

This study examines the relationship between teacher-perceived teaching efficacy and happiness and teacher-infant interaction, and analyzes the effect of teaching efficacy and happiness on teacher-infant interaction. The purpose was to reveal that it was an important variable in the quality of action. Frequency analysis and descriptive statistics analysis were conducted for the Korean Children's Panel 7th year (2014) data, and Pearson's moment-moment correlation coefficient was calculated for correlation analysis between variables. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the influence of teachers' teaching efficacy and happiness on teacher-infant and infant-infant interactions. The research results were as follows. First, teachers' teaching efficacy, teacher happiness, teacher-infant, and infant-infant interactions were all found to have significant positive correlations. Second, teachers' teaching efficacy was found to have a significant effect on teacher-infant and infant-infant interactions, and the influence increased when teacher's happiness was added. Therefore, we need to come up with a plan to increase teachers' teaching efficacy and teacher happiness at the same time so that the quality of teacher-infant and infant-infant interactions can be meaningfully improved.
