The spread of mobile devices, PDAs and sensors has enabled the construction of ubiquitous computing environments, transforming regular physical spaces into 'smart space' augmented with intelligence and enhanced with services. However, unless privacy concerns are taken into account early in the design process of various ubiquitous devices(e.g. mobile devices, PDAs, sensors, etc.). we will end up crating ubiquitous surveillance infrastructure. Also, it may inappropriate to use public key techniques for computational constrained devices in ubiquitous computing environment. In this paper, we propose efficient user authentication and ky agreement protocol not only to preserve anonymity for protecting personal privacy but also to be suitable for computational constrained devices in ubiquitous computing environments.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅이라는 개념이 정보통신 분야의 패러다임으로 자리잡은 지 오래임에도 불구하고 실생활에서 이용 가능한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 관련 서비스는 극히 적다 U-Messaging 서비스는 카메라가 내장된 모바일 단말기와 무선 인터넷을 활용하여, 캠퍼스 환경이라는 물리적 공간과 센서를 활용함으로써 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 개념을 잘 보여주고 있다. U-Messaging 서비스는 이미지 태그가 부착된 명패와 단말기를 이용하여 방문자의 음성과 문자 메시지를 전달하고 사용자는 나중에 방문기록과 메시지를 조회하도록 해주는 서비스이다. 학생과 일반인을 대상으로 한 사용성 평가결과 서비스에 대한 인지성, 편리성, 유용성 측면에서 만족할 안한 결과가 도출되었다.

정보화의 급속한 진전으로 유.무선의 통합, 광대역 통신기술 구현 및 디지털 컨버전스 등 첨단 정보통신기술이 생활에 적용되고 있으며, 유비쿼터스 사회로의 진입을 위한 환경 구축이 정부 및 자치단체, 연구소, 관련 기업 등 여러 기관 및 단체의 주관으로 순차적으로 진행되고 있다. 국방 부분에서도 첨단 정보통신기술에 대한 의존도는 점점 심화되고 있으나, 이와 더불어 해킹 바이러스 기술의 고도화를 통한 사이버테러 및 범죄 등의 침해 행위가 고도화, 전문화되고 점차 치밀한 형태로 발전하여 국가적인 차원의 대응이 필요한 형태로 급진전되고 있다. 특히 국방에서는 이러한 위협으로부터의 정보보호가 더욱 중요하며, 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 안전하고 효율적인 유비쿼터스 국방환경을 구축하기 위한 정보보호 발전 방안에 대하여 살펴보고자 한다.

이동 단말기, 무선인터넷 기술, 센서 기술의 발달로 인한 유비쿼터스 환경의 등장은 사용자의 위치에 상관없이 자유롭게 네트워크에 접속하여 다양한 서비스 이용과 정보 공유를 가능하게 하였다. 따라서 원할한 정보 공유와 서비스 이용을 위해서는 사용자에 대한 정보 보호 기술이 요구되어 진다. 또한 이런 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 프라이버시 정보는 개인의 동의 없이도 노출될 수 있으며, 제 3자에 의해 공유되거나 또는 악용적으로도 이용될 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경 내에서 사용자의 프라이버시를 보장하기 위해 사용자에게 프라이버시 정보에 대한 배타적인 통제권을 부여함으로써 사용자 편의성이 제공되는 개인에 의한 RBAC 기반의 접근 제어 프레임워크를 제안한다.

Ubiquitous Computing is gradually accepting in our real society. Already some Advanced State has studying of Ubiquitous for more convenience Ubiquitous environment. Anywhere, Anytime user can be provided information and service that he want, but it has some problem such as Rogue AP, IP spoofing, DoS attack, Warm which can causing social confusion in Ubiquitous society. In this paper we must analysis that security requirement in the Ubiquitous network environment and investigate 'Ad hoc' and RFID which is main technique for network infra construction.

The roles and services of a library have historically been influenced and developed by the change of information technologies. The ubiquitous technologies have been widely studied for medical area, construction, commerce, broadcasting, telecommunication and so on. The ubiquitous technologies have extended to the roles and services in a library. The development of ubiquitous IT, the roles and functions of a library and information center should be changed. To adjust evolving environment, this study focuses on concept and definition of ubiquitous computing and networks. Especially, with requirements and essential technologies which can be a technological infrastructure for ubiquitous life, library services and roles in ubiquitous life are discussed by literature review, case analysis and expert interview. With the results, this study proposes that library services and roles in ubiquitous life should be considered in two ways which are network and physical spaces. Also, roles of a library in ubiquitous life will be extended to culture and education center including traditional information center. To perform those roles and services, a library should develop various service programs relating culture and education such as personalized service and educational program.

정보기술과 무선 인터넷의 발전으로 인하여 차세대 정보기술의 패러다임이 점차 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 (ubiquitous computing)으로 바뀌고 있다. 최근에는 기존의 상거래 서비스와 기타 서비스 분야에서도 유비쿼터스 기술을 접목하여 유비쿼터스 커머스 (U-Commerce), 또는 유비쿼터스 서비스 (U-Service) 형태로 변화를 시도하고 있다. 그 결과 대부분의 기존 유비쿼터스 관련 연구자는 유비쿼터스 서비스를 위한 네트워크 환경이나 플랫폼 중심으로 많은 연구를 진행하였다 따라서 본 연구에서는 첫째, 유비쿼터스에 대한 기존 연구를 요약 하므로써, 향후 이와 관련된 연구를 시도하는 연구자들에게 유비쿼터스에 대한 통합적인 시각을 제시하고자 한다. 둘째, 유비쿼터스 연구 동향과 미래 발전 방향에 대한 통합 프레임워크를 제시하여 국내외 기술 발전의 현 상태를 점검하고 더 나아가 미래 발전방향에 대한 통합적인 시각을 갖고자 한다.

최근 정보기술과 유비쿼터스기술을 바탕으로 도시를 미래화하는 유비쿼터스도시(U-City)구축이 범 국가적으로 추진되고 있다. 이에, 정부에서는 2008년 9월 25일 유비쿼터스도시의 건설 등에 관한 법률 시행령을 발표하였으며, 유비쿼터스도시서비스(U-City Service)를 크게 행정, 교통, 보건 의료 복지, 환경, 방범 방재, 시설물 관리, 교육, 문화 관광 스포츠, 물류, 근로 고용 등의 분야로 구분하였다. 이러한 유비쿼터스도시서비스를 제공하고 운영 및 관리하는 시설로 유비쿼터스도시 통합운영센터(U-City Management Center)는 다양한 유비쿼터스도시서비스를 효과적으로 연계하여 서비스에서 발생되는 다양한 도시정보를 통합, 분석하고 제공하는 유비쿼터스도시 핵심기능을 담당한다. 하지만 이러한 유비쿼터스도시 통합운영센터의 구축은 운영조직구성, 운영비용확보, 통합서비스 제공방안, 법 제도 정비 등의 해결과제를 가지고 있어 구현방안에 대한 구체적인 연구가 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 선행연구를 바탕으로 유비쿼터스도시 통합운영센터에서 기본적으로 제공되어야 할 유비쿼터스도시서비스 유형을 제시하고 정의한다.

최근 들어 언제 어디서나 컴퓨팅이 가능한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅(Ubiquitous Computing) 사회가 되면서 개인의 컴퓨팅 환경 의존도가 증가되었고, 따라서 사이버공격으로 인한 개인생활의 위협도 증가할 수밖에 없게 되었다. 더욱이 향후에는 원격진료와 같이 개인의 생명과 직결된 유비쿼터스 서비스가 활성화될 것이므로 사이버공격으로 인해 재산뿐 아니라 생명까지 위험에 처하는 경우가 늘어나게 될 것이다. 이로 인해 유비쿼터스 환경에 적합한 홈네트워크 보안(Home Network Secutity)의 중요성이 부각되게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 안전한 U-홈네트워크(Ubiquitous-Home Network) 구축에 필요한 기술들을 유 무선 기준으로 구분하고, U-홈네트워크 환경에서 발생할 수 있는 다양한 침해유형을 분석하여, 이를 막아낼 수 있는 대응방안을 수립하고, 안전한 U-홈네트워크 구축을 위해 필요한 기존의 보안요구사항들을 살펴본 후에 U-홈네트워크에 적합한 추가적 보안사항을 제안하고자 한다.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 사용자의 상황 및 요구에 따라 동적으로 서비스를 제공하는 것은 주요한 과제 중에 하나이다. 이러한 동적인 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 서비스가 자체가 이기종의 하드웨어 및 운영체제 간에 독립적이어야 한다. 현재 유비쿼터스를 환경을 위해 연구되고 있는 HAVi, UPnP, JINI, OSGi등의 미들웨어들은 유비쿼터스 환경을 통합하려는 연구를 하고 있지만 서비스 표준에 대한 연구는 이루어지지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 XML을 이용하여 서비스 표준을 제시하고, 이 표준을 이용하여 서비스가 가능하도록 하는 관리 플랫폼을 구현한다. 구현한 플랫폼의 효율성을 측정하기 가전제품 제어 실험을 통해 보여준다.
