최근 정보통신서비스는 유비쿼터스라는 새로운 패러다임을 맞이하여 급속히 발전하고 있다. 특히 DMB 서비스는 TV의 이동 수신이라는 새롭고 혁신적인 기술과 함께 무선 이동 통신망을 이용하여 양방향 서비스가 가능한 방송 통신 컨버전스 시대를 선도해 나갈 주역으로서 정보통신의 새로운 성장 동력으로 주목받고 있다. 이러한 서비스나 기기를 제공하는 기업에게는 기술적인 측면도 중요하지만, 효과적인 마케팅을 위해 소비자들이 이러한 서비스를 어떻게 수공하고 이용하는지에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 즉, 언제 어디서나 상황에 맞는 서비스를 제공받을 수 있는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 효과적인 상품 개발과 서비스를 위해 사용자들이 어떠한 요인에 의해서 정보통신서비스를 이용하는지에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 강호작용성의 구성요인을 제시하고 이러한 특성이 DMB 서비스의 수용과 사용에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해서 분석해보고자 한다. 또한 이를 통해 기업의 입장에서 향후 DMB와 관련된 다양한 서비스를 개발하고 이용자를 확대하는데 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

Convergence is an important concept for driving our society to be ubiquitous. The objectives of this paper are to conceptualize information convergence, and to analyze its mechanisms from the view of ubiquitous library circumstances. Further, this paper suggests mobile Web 2.0 as a library supporting technology for information convergence and some kinds of mobile based library user services using mobile Web 2.0 applications.

이 연구는 공공부문이 구축/관리중인 지식정보자원의 시민활용 실태를 점검하고 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 지식정보자원의 시민활용성 제고방안 모색을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 부산광역시의 시민 200 명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 지식정보자원에 대한 인지도/활용도/활용장애요인과 유비쿼터스 기술에 대한 인지도/활용도/유용성을 조사하였고, 향후 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 공공행정, 교육학술, 사회문화/복지, 생활경제 등 4 대부문 16 개분야 32 개의 지식정보자원에 대한 시민활용 의향을 분석하였다. 분석결과 지식정보자원에 대한 인지도와 활용도는 보통보다 낮은 수준에 있으며, 그 이유로는 개인정보유출에 대한 불안, 지식정보자원 소재에 대한 정보부족, 지식정보자원 활용 비용의 부담 및 활용의 불편 등으로 나타났다. 향후 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 지식정보자원 활용의향에 대해서는 실생활과 밀접한 관련을 갖고 있는 교통/기상정보, U-Care 및 U-Health 정보, 금융, 공연예술, 관광여가 등의 정보에 대해서는 높은 의향을 보이나, 실생활과 직접 관련이 적고 전문적인 능력이나 관심이 요구되는 행정정보공개, 정책참여, U-학술연구 등에 대해서는 낮은 의향을 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

The general medical information service in hospital recently has been turned into ubiquitous environment. A key requirement in ubiquitous environment is the ability for communication between image viewer realized by DICOM standard and a server supporting medical information to make it possible. In order to apply the proposed scheme, we first realized the server/client networking in mobile terminal environment. Second, we realized DICOM viewer using a PDA to be capable of wireless communication in ubiquitous environment. Third, MIPS(Medical Information Processing System) utilized RFID system to apply the patient's information efficiently. In particular, it showed the capability to communicate image based system unlike previous text based communication.

In this paper, the management architecture and the ubiquitous profile based on CC/PP for contents adaptation in the ubiquitous environment is designed. The components and the attributes of the ubiquitous profile are defined based on the services scenario of contents adaptation in the ubiquitous environment. The ubiquitous profile was applied to techniques such as standard vocabulary, CC/PP structure, RDF schema and RDF to use effectively in the ubiquitous environment during the design. Also we design and propose the another management architecture based on ideas such as the dynamic constitution method, the metadata constitution method using a repository and the management method of gateway on center for the effective management of the ubiquitous profile. The result of performance evaluation for the proposed management architecture is more effective compared with the previous management method of the profile. The proposed the ubiquitous profile and the management architecture has provided the foundation of the research for a user to adaptation contents services in the ubiquitous environment.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술이 발전함에 따라 상황인지는 유비쿼터스 환경을 구성하는 중요한 요소들 중의 하나로 안정되고 있다. 그러나 아직까지 모든 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에 적용될만한 일반적인 상황모형 (generic context model)은 제시되지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문의 목적은 혼합형 다단계(hybrid multi-level) 다이어그램을 이용해 보다 적합한 일반적 상황모형을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 기존의 다양한 상황 모형들을 분석하고 이를 토대로 유비쿼터스 지능 공간에서의 컴퓨팅 시스템 환경에 적합한 일반적 상황모형을 제안하였다.

최근 인터넷과 이동통신이 결합된 무선휴대단말기에서 인터넷의 접속을 가능하게 하여주는 모바일 서비스가 등장하게 되었으며, 성장단계의 새로운 차세대 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous) 시대로 진입하게 되었다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 장치들은 애플리케이션 및 인터넷을 통한 서비스에 연결되지 않으면 모든 잠재력을 발휘하지 못한다. 초기의 웹 애플리케이션들이 사용되기 시작되었을 때는 이러한 환경을 예측하지 못했으며, 현재는 기존의 웹 애플리케이션을 유비쿼터스 환경에서 활용의 필요성이 대두되고 있는 실정이다. 이런 문제점을 성취하기 위한 한 가지 접근법이 공통된 애플리케이션의 컨텐츠 변환이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 XML과 XSLT 기반의 접근방식의 켄텐츠 변환을 제안 구현하며, 유비쿼터스 환경에 맞는 유무선 웹 애플리케이션을 제공한다.

The services for ubiquitous computing environments have to provide automatically user-specific adaptive services in dynamically changed environments with many informations provided by both a user and his/her environment. Workflows used in business and distributed computing environments support service automation by connecting many tasks with rules or orderings of tasks. Therefore we must specify context information on transition condition to support context-aware services by adapting a workflow to ubiquitous computing environments. In this paper, we present a structural context model to specify context information on transition constraints of the workflow. And we propose an uWDL Ubiquitous Workflow Description Language) based on web services, which provides web service interfaces which are standardized and independent on heterogeneous and various platforms, protocols, and languages. The uWDL tan be interpreted and executed by a workflow engine, and provide users autonomic services based on context-awareness.

유비쿼터스 환경에서는 프라이버시에 민감한 다양한 정보가 수집되고 이들이 통제되지 않은 채 배포될 수 있기 때문에 프라이버시 보호가 필수적이다. 유비쿼터스 환경에서 프라이버스 보안을 위해 사용되는 대표적인 방법론의 하나인 익명(anonymity) 기반 기법에서는, 사용자가 새로운 서비스 영역에 참여할 때 가명(pseudonym)을 사용할 수 있도록 하여, 사용자의 신분을 노출시키지 않도록 하는 방법이다. 이 방법은 사용자의 신분을 보호하는데는 효과적이지만, 친구 찾기 서비스, 위험지역경보, P2P통신 등 ID 기반의 서비스를 제공하기 어렵게 하는 단점이 있다. 이 논문에서는 익명기반의 프라이버스 보호 기법을 사용하는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 ID 기반의 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 하는 시스템 구조를 제안한다.

An ubiquitous environment has been developed in order to allow users to use information more easily. These environments are based on advanced development of mobile ubiquitous hardwares. Currently, a various user interfaces are developed for mobile ubiquitous devices using the graphic or voice. In this paper, propose a specialized graphical user interface which is based on analysis of a user profile. This user interface can provides suitable interface for individual users using XML information on the small screen of mobile ubiquitous devices.
