  • 최근 센서를 이용한 의료 분야로의 유비쿼터스 시스템 및 서비스 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 의료 분야 서비스의 기본적 전제인 WBAN 환경에서의 기존의 모니터링 시스템은 매우 수동적이다. 이를 개선해 스트림 데이터에 대해 보다 효율적인 모니터링 시스템을 구축하기 위한, 우선 순위를 표현하기 위한 큐(Queue)와 각 속성에 대한 질의로 구성된 레벨 트리(Level Tree)로 이어지는 질의 색인 구조에 대해 논하고자 한다.

  • With the advancement of ubiquitous computing technology, u-Healthcare (i.e. ubiquitous health care), is regarded as a key application for information society, which provides health management service at anytime in anywhere. To implement U-Healthcare system, it is essential to monitor stable biological information in daily life. In this paper, we proposed a small size, light weight, patch type real time temperature monitoring system based on wireless sensor network (WSN) technology to monitor patients' body temperature without any inconvenience of activity.

  • In this paper, we design and build an information system for the growth management of agricultural products and aquatic products by ubiquitous computing. So that, we installed various sensor systems and developed IP Cam to establish monitoring. It was possible to construct an environmental management system based on IT technology by a database that directly controls and manages the growth conditions of agricultural products and aquatic products by monitoring. We have installed various sensors that can acquire data in real time and IP Cam is designed and manufactured in three parts. It was applied to agricultural and marine products and monitored soil moisture, temperature, and environmental information to establish conditions for growth environment.

  • 최근 건설되고 있는 교량 대부분은 장대교라 명명할 정도로 그 길이가 매우 길게 되어 교량의 노후화, 차량의 증가 및 대형화로 인한 교량의 피로 축적, 예기치 않은 자연재해 등에 의해 붕괴 위험에 노출되어 있다. 따라서 이러한 위험을 사전에 예측하기 위해서는 효율적인 교량모니터링 시스템의 설계가 필수적으로 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 최근 각광을 받고 있는 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크 기술을 이용한 효율적인 교량 모니터링 시스템을 제안하고 이의 유용성을 확인해 보고자 한다.

Ubiquitous Healthcare Monitoring System using APG Signals based on Wireless Sensor Network (무선센서네트워크 기반의 가속도 맥파를 이용한 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 모니터링 시스템)

  • This paper describes the realization of ubiquitous healthcare monitoring system using wearable pulse oximeter based on a wireless sensor network. In order to obtain information of oxygen saturation from a patient, a small size and low power consumption wearable pulse oximeter was designed. Information of oxygen saturation collected by wireless sensor node was transmitted wirelessly to a base-station for storage and display purposes via wireless sensor network. Wireless sensor nodes were programmed by TinyOS application to perform data acquisition and transmission. Lab VIEW server program was designed to monitor information of oxygen saturation and process the measured PPG (photo plethysmogram) signals to APG(Accelerated plethysmogram) signals by appling second order derivatives. PPG signals are simple and cost effective technique to measure blood volume change.

  • 건설교통부는 국가미래에 대비해 실질적으로 기여할 수 있는 전략적이고 중장기적인 실효성 있는 R&D 혁신 로드맵인 VC-10 사업을 진행하고 있다. 이 과제의 핵심 기술 중에 하나인 유비쿼터스 센서네트워크는 초소형 센서들로 구성된 망으로써 환경 및 재난 재해, u-City 건설, 스마트 하이웨이, 방범 및 국방, 시설 관리, 유통, 등과 같은 다양한 분야에 사용할 수 있는 유비쿼터스 사회의 핵심 요소이다. 이것은 실시간 네트워크를 통해 전송 또는 관리되고 언제, 어디서나, 어떠한 대상과 의사소통이 가능한 지능형 컴퓨팅 환경을 구현하는 것이다. 그러나 이러한 기술을 바탕으로 하는 기존의 시스템들은 특정분야를 위한 독자적인 프로토콜이나 저전력 통신을 제공하는 ZigBee 기반으로 설계되었기 때문에 소규모 범위에서만 서비스 제공이 가능하며 시스템간의 연동이 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 센서네트워크간의 연동성을 고려한 대규모 실시간 모니터링 시스템을 설계하여 다양한 분야로 서비스할 수 있는 테스트베드 구축에 대한 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 여기서 모니터링 대상은 국토의 지반, 환경, 그리고 도심지역 등이다. 이렇게 제시된 방안은 국내실정에 적합한 모니터링 시나리오를 작성하여 테스트베드를 구축 시에 요구된 사항들에 대한 정당성을 입증한다.

  • It is important to manage the underground facilities efficiently because they are directly related to the convenience and safety of citizens. But the fact that the different agencies take on a role of managing the underground facilities respectively makes it impossible. So Korean government has exerted great efforts to solve this problem through several projects. Korean government expects that the ubiquitous technologies such as sensor and wireless communication in the domain of the underground facilities management will be useful. It is main duty of u-City Management Center to monitor several situations about the underground facilities using ubiquitous technologies. But there is no consensus about what concrete situations it has to monitor even though u-cities under construction. Because local governments or related companies are in charge of carrying out these roles yet, there is no legal basis on which to do these tasks by the center. And it is needed to develop new technologies for u-services efficiently. Because technologies for u-service are vast, various and converged, so it necessary to develop them according to priority or in cooperation with other developers. In this paper, we classify the monitoring items for each facility which were investigated by a recent research. It is expected to make use of defining the role of the center and developing technologies with u-service.

  • The IT communication technology including sensors, RFlD, wire/wireless communication, DBMS and motion picture transmission can be applied to industry and medical fields. In this paper, patient monitoring system which composed of excrements sensing, remind supporting and web-remote monitoring system has been designed and implemented. It has been shown that excrements sensing system had capabilities of monitoring a maximum of 64 patients, remind support system can be used for helping memory of the patients with Alzheimer's disease, and web remote motion picture monitoring system can monitor patients over the internet with 1 to 15 frames/sec.
