Ubiquitous computing has had an effect to politics, economics, society, culture, education and so forth. For effective management of huge Ubiquitous networks environment, various computers which are connected to networks has to decide automatic optimum with intelligence. Currently in many areas, data mining has been used effectively to construct intelligent systems. We proposed a hybrid support vector machine for Ubiquitous data mining which realized intelligent Ubiquitous computing environment. Many data were collected by sensor networks in Ubiquitous computing environment. There are many noises in these data. The aim of proposed method was to eliminate noises from stream data according to sensor networks. In experiment, we verified the performance of our proposed method by simulation data for Ubiquitous sensor networks.

According to develop the computer and communication technology, recently educational environment is growing to ubiquitous learning with direction which select the studying content, studying time and a studying order oneself. In order to raise effect of studying in the ubiquitous learning(u-Learning), the help or advice of the specialist is necessary earnestly. Accordingly, if it will combine the scaffolding and the mentoring in the u-Learning, a studying effect will be maximize. This paper design the u-SM(Scaffolding and Mentoring) teaching and learning model which applies the scaffolding and e-mentoring. In addition, it embodies and applies the designed u-SM model. Then it examines it affects in studying achievements and attitudes of students and verifies the application possibility of the u-SM teaching and learning.

With the advent of ubiquitous society, the paradigm of education is also changing. In u-learning in ubiquitous environment, mobile devices such as cellular phone, PDA, PMP, UMPC and TPC will become important learning tools. Particularly if RFID, a key technology in ubiquitous society, is utilized in teaching-learning along with mobile devices, we can expect much more meaningful learning. The present study proposed four types of application of RFID to teaching.learning, which were RFID-card, RFID-book, RFID-label and RFID-test, and examined their possibility and effectiveness. According to the results of this study, technology was insufficient to support the application of RFID-label to teaching-learning and continuous research was required for modeling the application of RFID to teaching-learning.

Ubiquitous computing technology makes an impact on the appearance of u-learning and presents an advanced direction of futuristic school education. In ubiquitous learning environments, various embedded computational devices will be pervasive and interoperable across the network for supporting the learning, so users may utilize these devices anytime anywhere. An important next step for ubiquitous learning is the introduction of context-aware learning service that employing knowledge and reasoning to understand the local context and share this information in support of intelligent learning services. However, the existing studies on design and application of ontology context model to support context-aware service in actual school environments are incomplete state. This paper, therefore, suggests a scheme of constructing ubiquitous learning space for existing school network by introducing USN to support context-aware ubiquitous learning services. This paper, also, designs an ontology based context model for ubiquitous school environments which describes context information through OWL. To determine the suitability of proposed ubiquitous learning space and ontology context model, we implement some of context-aware learning services in the ubiquitous learning environments.

Recently, the university environment has been changed faster than before. It has based on university environment and IT infrastructure. Especially, most of local university has devised development plan such as improving the image and competitive power of campus. Digital, Electronic and Mobile Campus has increased the importance as people realize that the use of technology can improve the learning process. U-Campus of latest IT Technology need a service environment of which the practical use is possible through IT analysis of the members. For example u-campus setup of mobile offers the convenience to the members. We expected thing to use much, even though actual condition investigation about IT environment of the user is insufficient. The inconvenience of mobile could not be activated to the service for proactive use. The importance became the result about u-campus service setup of a company and university center. This service environment cannot offer specific information of center members for which the service implements. In this paper, we studied about members centralized u-campus model through u-recruit, campus information mobile service on university.

최근 정보기술과 유비쿼터스기술을 바탕으로 도시를 미래화하는 유비쿼터스도시(U-City)구축이 범 국가적으로 추진되고 있다. 이에, 정부에서는 2008년 9월 25일 유비쿼터스도시의 건설 등에 관한 법률 시행령을 발표하였으며, 유비쿼터스도시서비스(U-City Service)를 크게 행정, 교통, 보건 의료 복지, 환경, 방범 방재, 시설물 관리, 교육, 문화 관광 스포츠, 물류, 근로 고용 등의 분야로 구분하였다. 이러한 유비쿼터스도시서비스를 제공하고 운영 및 관리하는 시설로 유비쿼터스도시 통합운영센터(U-City Management Center)는 다양한 유비쿼터스도시서비스를 효과적으로 연계하여 서비스에서 발생되는 다양한 도시정보를 통합, 분석하고 제공하는 유비쿼터스도시 핵심기능을 담당한다. 하지만 이러한 유비쿼터스도시 통합운영센터의 구축은 운영조직구성, 운영비용확보, 통합서비스 제공방안, 법 제도 정비 등의 해결과제를 가지고 있어 구현방안에 대한 구체적인 연구가 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 선행연구를 바탕으로 유비쿼터스도시 통합운영센터에서 기본적으로 제공되어야 할 유비쿼터스도시서비스 유형을 제시하고 정의한다.

오늘날 급속한 컴퓨팅 환경의 변화에 따라 방송, 통신, 기계 등 디지털 컨버전스 패러다임으로 데스크탑 컴퓨터에 제한적이던 정보 서비스가 언제, 어느곳에서든 가능한 유비쿼터스 시대가 도래하고 있다. 가정에서도 또한, 유비쿼터스 홈 환경이 조성 되면서 댁내 보안, 건강 모니터링 및 진료, 오락, 교육, 전자상거래 등 다양한 서비스가 이루어질 것이다. 이러한 환경에 적절한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 안전하고 체계적인 관리 및 보호가 필요할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 멀티미디어서비스를 사용자의 상황인지 정보를 통해 지능화된 미디어 서비스 및 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 체계적이고 안전한 관리 및 보호를 위한 시스템을 제안한다.

This paper presents a model of ubiquitous learning environment system based on the concepts of ubiquitous computing technology that enables learning to take place anywhere at anytime. This ubiquitous learning environment is described as an environment-friendly learning scheme that supports students' learning using digital media in geographically distributed environments. The u-learning model is a web-based e-learning system that could enable learners to acquire knowledge and skills through interaction between them and the ubiquitous learning environment. Education is happening all around the student but the student may not even be conscious of the learning process. Source data is present in the embedded objects and students do not have to do anything in order to learn. The communication between devices and the embedded computers in the environment allows learners to learn in an environment of their interest while they are moving, hence, attaching them to their learning environment.

As e-learning studying is activated, learner's requirement increased. Therefore, need correct e-learning model augmented requirement of learner and new ubiquitous surrounding. In this treatise when, proposed to supplement studying contents relationship conversion service and cooperation studying service function to LMS that analyze existing e-learning model's limitation for ubiquitous environment e-learning model that can study regardless of, ubiquitously some contents and do based on SCORM ubiquitous-network and next generation sensor technology etc. Learning form conversion service senses a learner's surrounding situations and recognize his/her body condition using smart sensor technology and provides the learner with contents in the optimal form. Using sensing projects like Orestia and SOB, users can more effective collaborative learning service.

Recently, u-learning passing over ICT learning and e-learning becomes influential in Korean primary and secondary schools. U-learning is to be proliferated in accordance with the development of ubiquitous environment. In this paper, we introduced the situation and implications of the model cases of ICT learning, e-learning and u-learning designated by the Korean Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development.
