The relocation of the public institutions such as the provincial government attracts much attentions since it results in substantial regional economic impacts. In this context this paper analyzes the effects of relocation of Gyeongsangbuk-Do provincial government from Daegu city to Gyeongsangbuk-Do, which is scheduled for 2014, on Daegyeong economic region. Based on the interregional input-output model and I-O data which were provided by the Bank of Korea, this paper examines the multiplier effects of the relocation in terms of production, value added, and employment on Daegyeong economic region and other regions, except for the construction effects of the provincial capital. According to the analysis, the relocation is expected to reduce the production by 290million won, value added by 709million won, and employment by 571 persons in Daegyeong economic region. Also, the relocation turns out to decrease the production by 1,179million won and value added by 123million won of other regions. This paper discusses some policy implications of the analysis.

Space exploration project usually consists of so many fields of sub projects that it has a diverse ripple effect throughout the economy. Further studies could not consider the complexity of the space exploration project because they regarded it as one project in spite of the diversity. This study found a way to consider complexity of space exploration project using the concept of WAC(weighted average coefficient). The moon exploration project (2014~2020) is the subject of this study. We classified the moon exploration project into 8 industries and calculated the WAC of production inducement coefficient, value added inducement coefficient, and employment inducement coefficient. The result of analysis using these WACs is that production inducement effect amounts to 1,229.6 billion won, value added inducement effect 324.6 billion won, employment inducement effect 4,844 men. And the linkage effect analysis shows that moon exploration project has more backward linkage effect than forward linkage effect.

The value added network service industry has played and important role in the telecommunication service industry and in the economic development of Korea. This study uses input-output analysis to investigate the role of value added network service sector in the Korean national economy for the period 2000, 2005, 2009, focusing on four topics in its application: production inducing effects, value-added inducing effect, employment-inducing effects by demand-driven model and supply shortage effect by supply-driven model, inflation impacts by the Leontief price model, finally analysing inter-industry linkage effects. The results of this study are as follows: production inducing effects analysis 2000 0.5253won to 2009 1.31314won, value-added inducing effects 0.25112won to 0.5337won employment inducing effects from 0.09749 to 0.21025 people grew, the supply shortage effect from 1.29003 to 2.12048won, price impact of Leontief price model was increased from 0.0022% to 0.00258%. Finally, inter-industry linkage effects, appeared to have the characteristics of final demand raw industrial.

이 글에서는 우리나라 기계산업의 ICT(Information Communication Technology) 융합을 정의 분류하고, 이에 따른 대표적인 기술사례를 소개코자 한다. 또한 한국은행 산업 연관표를 활용하여 기계산업 중간투입에서의 IT 부문 비중을 의미하는 ICT 융합도(측정 평가 지표)를 제시하고, 변화 추이를 분석하였다. 아울러 기계산업 ICT 융합의 경제적 파급효과를 부가가치 유발효과의 관점에서 살펴보고 향후 기계산업의 기술방향을 제시코자 한다.

The central government operates a Balanced National Development Special Account, and wants more regional development. Many local governments try various ways to establish a foothold for independent governments. Establishing a regional base center is one of the major plans for economic development, and Chungnam is proceeding with "establishing a platform for Chungnam high-tech metal materials." This paper analyzes the effects on the regional economy based on the expense that goes into a regional base center in Chungnam. For the analysis, an input/output table is used, and we present the effects of the annual input cost in detail. This study specifically analyzes the production-inducing effects, the value-added inducing effects, and employment-inducing effects using a demand-drive model. Furthermore, we suggest the effectiveness of this same business. The analyzed results give 32,230,000,000 in production-inducing effects, 13,820,000,000 in value-added inducing effects, and 101 in employment-inducing effects. These results can be used as reasonable evidence to promote the project, since the production-inducing effects and value-added inducing effects show high results, compared to input. The employment-inducing effects can also be used to create new jobs and figure out the number of people employed through this project.

전력생산활동을 통해 이루어지는 산업간의 상호연관관계를 수량적으로 파악하는 분석이 본고에서 전개하고자 하는 산업연관분석이다. 전력산업 R&D활동이 다른 산업에 파급시키는 효과 중 주목할 것은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 생산유발효과는 전력산업의 자본 및 (연료)집약적 산업으로서의 특성을 잘 반영한다. 둘째, 부가가치유발효과도 장치산업으로서의 전력산업의 특성을 잘 반영한다. 셋째, 취업유발효과는 전력산업 자체에서 가장 두드러진 것으로 나타났다.

국내 이동통신 산업의 중요성 및 빠른 변화에도 불구하고, 국내 이동통신 산업만을 대상으로 한 산업연관효과에 관한 체계적인 연구는 미흡한 상태이다. 본 연구는 여타 연구와 달리 기술 및 산업 속성에 따라 국내 이동통신 산업을 크게 기기, 장비, 서비스 3가지 부문으로 분류하여 산업연관분석을 실시하였다. 또한 최근 국내 이동통신 산업이 전 산업에 미치는 영향의 변화를 파악하기 위해, 한국은행에서 발표한 2003년, 2005년, 2007년, 2009년 산업연관표를 이용하여 산업연관효과의 연도별 변화를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 생산유발효과의 전후방연쇄효과는 기기, 서비스, 장비 3가지 부문 모두 공통적으로 상승하는 추세를 보였다. 그리고 부가가치유발효과는 장비를 제외한 기기와 서비스에서 감소하는 것으로 나타났고, 고용유발효과는 기기를 제외한 장비와 서비스에서 증가 추세를 보였다. 특히 이동통신기기 분야의 고용유발효과 감소 추세는 대내적으로 자본 집약화, 기술 집약화에 따른 고급인력의 수급 불균형 현상 등과 더불어 국내 단말업체들의 해외 생산기지 이전이 국내 고용에 악영향을 준 것으로 추정된다.

Industrial parks have played a pivotal role in leading and sustaining economic and regional development in Korea. It is conventionally known that industrial parks induce a variety of effects in regional economy from a formation stage to an operational stage. Notwithstanding it is surprising that there is almost no literature on economic effects of the formation and operation of industrial parks. In this paper we attempt to measure economic effects of the formation of industrial parks in Gimhae, Sanmak (Yangsan) and Haman in Gyeongnam. The formation stage of industrial park is divided into a site renovation stage, a firm location stage and an operational stage. This research shows that economic effects of the formation of industrial parks can be different by the characteristics of individual industrial park. Particularly, the main sectors of industry to be located in an industrial park can be to a great extent influential for the effects of the new creation of industrial park on productive inducement and job creation.

Korean Shipbuilding industry takes 33.1% of world market. This shows that Korea is number 1 in shipbuilding. Also, this means the shipbuilding industry plays a significant role in national economic development. This Study attempts to analyse the national economic impacts of shipbuilding industry using an inter-industry analysis. The study investigates demand-driven model and the Leontief price model. Specifically, this study investigates production-inducing effect, value added-inducing effect and employ-inducing effect. Also, we estimate the sectoral price effect. The result of this analyses are presented: 0.7891 won in production-inducing effect, 0.3742 won in value added-inducing effect. When 1 won is produced by shipbuilding industry, 3.7808 persons in employ-inducing effect when 1 billion won is produced, and sectoral price effect is 0.0009% due to the 10% increase of price.

This study has analysed riffle effect of shipbuilding business on regional economy in Jeonnam. For the analysis on connection to regional business, the most favored way to estimate economic effect of a certain industry in the nation and overseas, has been adopted. As a result of analysis, in case of 1,908,800 million won turnover in shipbuilding in Jeonnam, it would induce about 3,038,624 million won of production, about 940,656 million won of added value, about 13,361 employment and about 702,056 million won of income. Seeing production riffle effects of shipbuilding industry in Jeonnam on other businesses in the same area, it is found out to influence in order of on the primary industry metal products 458,784 million won, chemical products 128,250 million won, metal products 71,498 million won and on petrol and coal products 50,829 million won. Like this, shipbuilding industry is highly connected with metal and chemical industries, which make a cluster in eastern area of Jeonnam, suggesting that growth of shipbuilding industry in Jeonnam would maximize inter-industrial synergy effect in the region.
