Investigation of depending on ion drift velocity for board surface ion angular distribution function in $Cl_2$ discharge ($Cl_2$ 방전에서의 기판 표면 이온 각 분포 함수의 유동속도 의존성 조사)

  • 현재 널리 쓰이는 고밀도 플라즈마 장치의 식각 시뮬레이션은 식각 패턴으로는 level set method이며 바이어스가 인가된 sheath model로는 Riley sheath model 이 보편적으로 받아들여지고 있다. 이러한 식각 시뮬레이션은 RF(Radio Frequency) sheath로부터 가속된 이온이 단위 입체각당 특정 지점에 이온 플럭스 분포함수, 이온 에너지 분포함수와, 중성종의 수송모델로 etch rate을 결정하는 과정과 level set method을 이용하여 식각 형태를 계산하는 과정으로 구성되어있다. 본 연구는 식각 형태 계산 이전의 단계로서 $Ar^+,\;Cl_2{^+},\;Cl^+$이온의 유동속도와 밀도를 장치의 radial방향으로 불균일하게 가정하였고, 가정한 값으로 이온 플럭스와 에너지 플럭스에 대한 영향을 알아보았다.

Influence of Impeller Outlet Angles in Pump Flow Patterns and Characteristics (임펠러 출구각이 펌프 내부유동 및 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • For the improvement of the pump characteristics in the partial capacity range, it must be verified that the influence of the impeller design factor on the internal flows and the influence of the impeller internal flows on the pump characteristics. In this paper, in order to understand the influence of outlet angles on flow conditions and characteristics of a mixed flow pump, experiments were carried out for four kinds of impeller, which have the same inlet angle distributions and meridional section shapes. Results shown that separation and stall in the partial capacity range were enlarged by the outlet angles. The relationship between the separation and the stall at the impeller and the discharge flow conditions were clarified.

  • Thermoplastic elastomer(TPE) can be molded by conventional injection molding. Therefore TPE injection molding could be analyzed by commercial flow analysis software. However there are a little of gaps on CAE simulation results and practical molding. In this study, the properties of TPE were measured and applied to CAE simulation for comparing the simulation flow pattern and real flow pattern. The pattern that was controlled by injection time was match. The pattern that was controlled by injection stroke and rate was not match.

Influence of Flow Conditions of Intake Air on Gas Flow Patterns in Engine Cylinder (흡기 유동 조건의 변화가 실린더 내 가스 유동 패턴에 미치는 영향)

  • This paper presents the characteristics of the gas flow in the engine cylinder under various intake flow conditins. The particle tracking velovimetry(PTV) was used to anlayze the gas flow pattern and flow field in the cylinder. Effects of tumble intensifying valve(TIV), swirl intensifying valve(SIV) and one-valve deactivated condition on in-cylinder flow patterns were compared with the baseline engine udner 600rpm motoring condition. In addtion, tumbel ration was estimated rwith results of in -cylinder flow fields. Base on experimental results, the tumble ration of in-cylinder flow field has the maximum value at the bottom dead center for the different four inlet conditions. In TIV condition, the tumble ration is 1.35 times larger than that of baseline engine and 1 intake valve deactivated condition is effective to improve in-cylinder swirl motion.

  • 터널에서의 암반분류/평가는 지보패턴결정 뿐만 아니라 터널주변암반에 대한 설계정 수 산정 및 물성평가에 있어 매우 중요한 요소라 할 수 있다. 암반분류는 각 국 또는 주요기관 별로 분류안이 만들어져 있으며, 현재 RMR분류와 Q-system이 가장 활발히 적용되고 있다. 본고에서는 터널설계단계에서 암반분류방법과 지보패턴결정과정을 고찰하였으며, 도로설계를 중심으로 적용현황을 분석하였다 또한 실제 터널시공시 암반분류 및 판정에 의한 지보공 변경사례를 살펴봄으로서 시공 중 암반분류/평가의 의미를 고찰하였다. 그리고 암반분류요소들에 대한 통계분석을 실시하여 암반분류요소들간의 상관관계를 분석하였다.

  • In the environment of development of network bandwidth and intrusion technology there is limit to the pattern analysis of all massed packets through the existing pattern matching method by the intrusion detection system. To detect the packets efficiently when they are received fragmented, it has been presented the matching method only the pattern of packets consisting with the operation system such as Esnort. Pattern matching performance is improved through the use of NMAP, the basic mechanism od Esnort, by scanning the operation system of the same network system and appling pattern match selectively scanned information and the same operation system as the received packets. However, it can be appeared the case of disregarding the receivied packets depending on the diversity of the kind of operation systems and recognition mistake of operation system of nmap. In this paper, we present and verify the improved intrusion detection system shortening the pattern matching time by the creation of hashy table through the pattern hash of intrusion detection system independently with the users system environment .in the state of flux.

  • To evaluate lubrication properties by surface roughness under boundary and mixed lubrication, a new approach is suggested by both asperity flow and contact with stochastic characteristics. Many researchers already have studied the effect of surface roughness on flow. But, it has become important to research of the phenomenon of asperities contact in surfaces because the growth of asperities contact area under heavy load conditions. In this paper, flow factors in the average flow model derived by Patir and Cheng were used, and a multi-asperity contact model was included to calculate lubrication properties of a surface with a randomly generated rough surface. A numerical analysis using the average Reynolds equation with both the average flow model and the asperity contact model was conducted, and the results were compared with those from previous research. The results showed that the influence of asperities on lubrication and the friction coefficient changed rapidly on application of contact model.

A Study on the Transitional Shock Separation Patterns in an Over-Expanded Nozzle (과팽창 노즐에서 발생하는 충격파 박리 패턴의 천이에 관한 연구)

  • Numerical investigation was carried out on axisymmetric over-expanded rocket nozzle to predict flow fields of transitional shock separation patterns. The unsteady, compressible N-S equations with k-$\omega$ SST for turbulence model closure were solved using a fully implicit finite volume scheme. Computed results were in good agreement with previous experimental works. It was found that strong side-loads were generated during the transition of RSS to FSS due to the development of a vortex ring in the inviscid jet core region. Hysteresis phenomenon exhibited by the shock-separation patterns was also found during the start-up and shut-down processes.

A study on the pintle-tip shapes effect of nozzle flow using cold-flow test (핀틀 형상이 노즐 유동에 미치는 영향에 대한 실험적 연구)

  • The objective of this work was to investigate the pintle-tip shape effect on nozzle flow and thrust by cold flow test. When nozzle throat area was decreased by pintle movement, chamber pressure was increased monotonously but thrust was increased differently according to every pintle-tip shape. At the same chamber pressure and nozzle throat area, thrust of convex pintle-tip shape was mostly larger than that of concave one. Nozzle wall pressure distribution and magnitude of pintle-tip load depended on the pintle-tip shape, pintle position and nozzle throat area.
