Recommendation system plays a significant role on relieving difficulties of selecting information among rapidly increasing amount of information caused by the development of the Internet and on efficiently displaying information that fits individual personal interest. In particular, without the help of recommendation system, E-commerce and OTT companies cannot overcome the long-tail phenomenon, a phenomenon in which only popular products are consumed, as the number of products and contents are rapidly increasing. Therefore, the research on recommendation systems is being actively conducted to overcome the phenomenon and to provide information or contents that are aligned with users' individual interests, in order to induce customers to consume various products or contents. Usually, collaborative filtering which utilizes users' historical behavioral data shows better performance than contents-based filtering which utilizes users' preferred contents. However, collaborative filtering can suffer from cold-start problem which occurs when there is lack of users' historical behavioral data. In this paper, hybrid music recommendation system, which can solve cold-start problem, is proposed based on the playlist data of Melon music streaming service that is given by Kakao Arena for music playlist continuation competition. The goal of this research is to use music tracks, that are included in the playlists, and metadata of music tracks and playlists in order to predict other music tracks when the half or whole of the tracks are masked. Therefore, two different recommendation procedures were conducted depending on the two different situations. When music tracks are included in the playlist, LightFM is used in order to utilize the music track list of the playlists and metadata of each music tracks. Then, the result of Item2Vec model, which uses vector embeddings of music tracks, tags and titles for recommendation, is combined with the result of LightFM model to create final recommendation list. When there are no music tracks available in the playlists but only playlists' tags and titles are available, recommendation was made by finding similar playlists based on playlists vectors which was made by the aggregation of FastText pre-trained embedding vectors of tags and titles of each playlists. As a result, not only cold-start problem can be resolved, but also achieved better performance than ALS, BPR and Item2Vec by using the metadata of both music tracks and playlists. In addition, it was found that the LightFM model, which uses only artist information as an item feature, shows the best performance compared to other LightFM models which use other item features of music tracks.

Most of the researches about classification usually have used kNN(k-Nearest Neighbor), SVM(Support Vector Machine), which are known as learn-based model, and Bayesian classifier, NNA(Neural Network Algorithm), which are known as statistics-based methods. However, there are some limitations of space and time when classifying so many web pages in recent internet. Moreover, most studies of classification are using uni-gram feature representation which is not good to represent real meaning of words. In case of Korean web page classification, there are some problems because of korean words property that the words have multiple meanings(polysemy). For these reasons, LSA(Latent Semantic Analysis) is proposed to classify well in these environment(large data set and words' polysemy). LSA uses SVD(Singular Value Decomposition) which decomposes the original term-document matrix to three different matrices and reduces their dimension. From this SVD's work, it is possible to create new low-level semantic space for representing vectors, which can make classification efficient and analyze latent meaning of words or document(or web pages). Although LSA is good at classification, it has some drawbacks in classification. As SVD reduces dimensions of matrix and creates new semantic space, it doesn't consider which dimensions discriminate vectors well but it does consider which dimensions represent vectors well. It is a reason why LSA doesn't improve performance of classification as expectation. In this paper, we propose new LSA which selects optimal dimensions to discriminate and represent vectors well as minimizing drawbacks and improving performance. This method that we propose shows better and more stable performance than other LSAs' in low-dimension space. In addition, we derive more improvement in classification as creating and selecting features by reducing stopwords and weighting specific values to them statistically.

In landscape design by public institutions, although the costs and species of landscape trees stipulated by the Korean Public Procurement Service(PPS) are generally adhered to, the PPS regulations about planting trees with well-developed rootlets are almost entirely neglected. This study aimed to evaluate the performance of buried container modules, which are a new technology and product in landscape production that is able to reduce the defect rate while complying with regulations. To this end, this study measured rootlet density, rootlet development length, rootlet survival rate on excavation, and impairments of tree growth for 3 months after root pruning, and compared these variables for the container modules with those for trees that underwent root pruning in bare ground, and those that were cultivated in a container above ground. The results were as follows: First, the rootlet density was 88% for the trees in container modules, which was very high. Trees that underwent standard root pruning in bare ground had a somewhat lower density of 64%. Meanwhile, the trees that were cultivated in pots above ground died, invalidating measurement. Second, in terms of rootlet development and rootlet survival rate, the trees in container modules showed a mean length of 10.4cm, and 100% survival rate, indicating that there was no rootlet damage caused by excavation. For the trees that only underwent root pruning in bare ground, the mean length was 25.6cm and the rootlet survival rate was only half that of the trees in container modules, at 56%, demonstrating considerable damage. Rootlet development did not occur at all in the trees grown in pots. Third, the trees in container modules and those that underwent root pruning in bare ground did not show any deaths during the root pruning process, or any impairments such as stunted leaf growth. Conversely, the trees grown in pots nearly all died, and severe impairments of tree growth were observed. As shown by the results above, when we evaluated the performance of buried container modules, they showed the most outstanding performance of the three models tested in this study. The container modules prevent defects by stimulating early rooting in environments that with poor conditions for growth, or in trees that are not suited to the summer environment Therefore, it is expected that they would be an optimal means by which to enable compliance with rules such as the regulation presented by the PPS.
This study was conducted to find out the effects of such parameters as specific draft resistance, slip rate, and fuel consumption rate on plowing performance in paddy fields spread with chopped rice straw. The plowing operation by an 8 P.S. power tiller was carried out in 6 different fields having the soil moisture content of 27~36 percent in dry basis in clay loam soil texture, and applying chopped rice straw of 10, 20, 30 and 60cm in length in the spring of 1982. The effects of soil hardness and moisture content on the plowing performance were also investigated. The results of the study are summarized as follows; 1. The minimum draft during the plowing operation was 110kg in the 30cm rice straw plot having the soil moisture content of 32 percent in dry basis. 2. The multiple regression equation of the specific draft(D) as a function of soil moisture content(M) and cutting length of rice straw(L) was obtained as follows. $D=14.1978-0.8565M+0.0661LxM-2.9685L+0.0133M^2+1.093L^2$ 3. In the 30cm rice straw plot with the soil moisture content of 32 percent in dry basis, the minimum specific draft resistance and the rate of slip were 0.35kg per $cm^2$ and 16 percent respectively. The specific draft resistance varied sensitively in accordance with the soil moisture content, and the slip rate of power tiller was dependent upon the cutting length of rice straw rather than the soil moisture content. 4. The highest plowing performance was 5.3 ares per hour at the soil moisture content of 35 percent and soil hardness of 10kg per $cm^2$. The relationship between the plowing performance and the soil moisture content was obtained by a quadratic equation. 5. The minimum fuel consumption rate in the plowing operation was recorded 6.5 liters per 10 ares in 30cm chopped rice straw plot with the soil moisture content of 32 percent in dry basis.
Purpose: Although automatic quantification software of myocardial perfusion SPECT provides highly objective and reproducible quantitative measurements, there is still some limitation in the direct use of quantitative measurements. In this study we derived parameters using normal variation of perfusion measurements, and tried to test the usefulness of these parameters. Materials and Methods: In order to calculate normal variation of perfusion measurements on myocardial perfusion SPECT, 55 patients (M:F = 28:27) of low-likelihood for coronary artery disease were enrolled and $^{201}TI$ rest/$^{99m}Tc$-MIBI stress SPECT studies were performed. Using 20-segment model, mean (m) and standard deviation (SD) of perfusion were calculated in each segment. As a myocardial viability assessment group, another 48 patients with known coronary artery disease, who underwent coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG) were enrolled. $^{201}TI$ rest/$^{99m}Tc$-MIBI stress / $^{201}TI$ 24-hr delayed SPECT was performed before CABG and SPECT was followed up 3 months after CABG. From the preoperative 24-hr delayed SPECT, $Q_{delay}$ (perfusion measurement), ${\Delta}_{delay}$ ($Q_{delay}$ - m) and $Z_{delay}$ (($Q_{delay}$ - m)/SD) were defined and diagnostic performances of them for myocardial viability were evaluated using area under curve (AUC) on receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. Results: Segmental perfusion measurements showed considerable normal variations among segments. In men, the lowest segmental perfusion measurement was $51.8{\pm}6.5$ and the highest segmental perfusion was $87.0{\pm}5.9$, and they are $58.7{\pm}8.1$ and $87.3{\pm}6.0$, respectively in women. In the viability assessment $Q_{delay}$ showed AUC of 0.633, while those for ${\Delta}_{delay}$ and $Z_{delay}$ were 0.735 and 0.716, respectively. The AUCs of ${\Delta}_{delay}$ and $Z_{delay}$ were significantly higher than that of $Q_{delay}$ (p = 0.001 and 0.018, respectively). The diagnostic performance of ${\Delta}_{delay}$, which showed highest AUC, was 85% of sensitivity and 53% of specificity at the optimal cutoff of -24.7. Conclusion: On automatic quantification of myocardial perfusion SPECT, the normal variation of perfusion measurements were considerable among segments. In the viability assessment, the parameters considering normal variation showed better diagnostic performance than the direct perfusion measurement. This study suggests that consideration of normal variation is important in the analysis of measurements on quantitative myocardial perfusion SPECT.

Sarcopenia, a condition characterized by the insidious loss of skeletal muscle mass and strength, represents a significant and growing healthcare challenge, impacting the mobility and quality of life of aging populations worldwide. This study investigated the therapeutic potential of soybean leaf extract (SL) for dexamethasone (Dexa)-induced muscle atrophy in vitro and in an in vivo model. In vitro experiments showed that SL significantly alleviated Dexa-induced atrophy in C2C12 myotube cells, as evidenced by preserved myotube morphology, density, and size. Moreover, SL treatment significantly reduced the mRNA and protein levels of muscle RING-finger protein-1 (MuRF1) and muscle atrophy F-box (MAFbx), key factors regulating muscle atrophy. In a Dexa-induced atrophy mouse model, SL administration significantly inhibited Dexa-induced weight loss and muscle wasting, preserving the mass of the gastrocnemius and tibialis anterior muscles. Furthermore, mice treated with SL exhibited significant improvements in muscle function compared to their counterparts suffering from Dexa-induced muscle atrophy, as evidenced by a notable increase in grip strength and extended endurance on treadmill tests. Moreover, SL suppressed the expression of muscle atrophy-related proteins in skeletal muscle, highlighting its protective role against Dexa-induced muscle atrophy. These results suggest that SL has potential as a natural treatment for muscle-wasting conditions, such as sarcopenia.

The competitiveness of the domestic cosmetics market will improve more rapidly when efficient market segmentation is secured, qualitative information about each of the segmented markets is gathered, and adequate marketing strategies to meet the demands of each segmented markets is established. Therefore, continuous studies are needed to secure qualitative information for market segmentation. In order to find out whether the domestic cosmetics market could be segmented according to consumers' shopping orientation, the present study analyzed cosmetics purchasing behavior, complaint behavior, and demographic characteristics of each consumer group classified according to their shopping orientation. The study was implemented by a normative-descriptive survey method using a questionnaire. Three groups of consumers were identified according to their shopping orientation: price-oriented group, information-oriented group, and brand-oriented group. It was confirmed that the groups, classified according to shopping orientation, have significantly different demographic, purchasing, and complaint behavior. Therefore, shopping orientation should be carefully considered in the segmentation of the cosmetics market.
As the number of the mobile nodes (MNs) increases in the networks, the signaling traffic generated by mobility management for MNs will increase explosively, and such a phenomenon will probably affect overall network performance. In this paper, we propose a novel analytical approach using a continuous-time Markov chain model and hierarchical network model for the analysis on the signaling load of representative IPv6 mobility support Protocols such as Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) and Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 (HMIPv6). According to these analytical modeling, this paper derives the various signaling costs, which are generated by an MN during its average domain residence time when MIPv6 and HMIPv6 are deployed under the same network architecture, respectively. In addition, based on these derived costs, we investigate the effects of various mobility/traffic-related parameters on the signaling costs generated by an MN under MIPv6 and HMIPv6. The analytical results show that as the average moving speed of an MN gets higher and the binding lifetime is set . to the larger value, and as its average packet arrival rate gets lower, the total signaling cost generated during its average domain residence time under HMIPv6 will get relatively lower than that under MIPv6, and that under the reverse conditions, the total signaling cost under MIPv6 will get relatively lower than that under HMIPv6.

Conventional CT and MRI scans produce cross-section slices of body that are viewed sequentially by radiologists who must imagine or extrapolate from these views what the 3 dimensional anatomy should be. By using sophisticated algorithm and high performance computing, these cross-sections may be rendered as direct 3D representations of human anatomy. The 2D medical image analysis forced to use time-consuming, subjective, error-prone manual techniques, such as slice tracing and region painting, for extracting regions of interest. To overcome the drawbacks of 2D medical image analysis, combining with medical image processing, 3D visualization is essential for extracting anatomical structures and making measurements. We used the gray-level thresholding, region growing, contour following, deformable model to segment human organ and used the feature vectors from texture analysis to detect harmful cancer. We used the perspective projection and marching cube algorithm to render the surface from volumetric MR and CT image data. The 3D visualization of human anatomy and segmented human organ provides valuable benefits for radiation treatment planning, surgical planning, surgery simulation, image guided surgery and interventional imaging applications.

Recently, to realize sound-absorbing structures, we have to insert sound-absorbing materials into wall. These shapes are taken limitations because sound-absorbing materials should be fixed. Therefore, the sound absorption is changed by environment that used the sound-absorbing materials. On the other hand, we will take same effect without sound-absorbing material, if we change the shape of wall to sound absorbing structure. If we use this sound absorbing structure, we can get benefits by removing limitation of materials. Therefore we suggest perforated plate for effective sound-absorbing structure. We confirmed the function of sound-absorption of this structure using equivalent property. Then, we found the similarity between perforated plate and resonator. Also, we verify these theories through computer simulation by FEM(Finite Element Method). Finally, we validated that perforated plate has function of sound absorption without sound-absorbing material. This perforated plate is used for sound-absorbing material of buildings and transportations such as vehicle, train etc. Also, these results could be further used basic tool for design of sound-absorption structure.
