Wind Road Analysis System Using GIS (GIS를 활용한 바람길 분석시스템)

  • 환경이 하나의 도시계획 요소로 작용하고 있는 상황에서 기후요소인 바람을 도시계획시 고려하여, 기존의 도시계획과는 다른 관점을 제시해 주는 분석시스템이다. 기상자료 및 해당 도면의 속성자료를 토대로 GRID분석과 Kriging보간 알고리즘을 구현하여 대상지역의 온도분포 및 바람흐름, 바람통로를 찾아내고자 하였다. 기후지도를 이용하여 주요 바람길을 파악할 수 있으며 대상지내 신선한 공기가 시작되는 녹지들을 추출하여 녹지계획의 핵으로 정한다. 녹지의 핵으로부터 각각의 녹지로 연결되는 바랑의 길을 분석하여 도시계획업무추진 시 바랑통로가 단절된 곳이나 단절된 계획이 있는 곳을 파악한다. 그리고 바람통로를 위해서 보존할 곳과 올바른 바람을 유도할 곳 등을 생성한다. 또한 본 연구에서는 열섬현상이 빈번히 발생하는 대구시를 대상지로 정하여 Landsat TM영상을 활용 도시의 열섬현상을 분석하고 시스템을 통해 제작된 기후지도를 활용한 열섬 현상 저감방안도 모색하였다.

Analysis of a Suspended Stripline using FDTD Method and Design of Suspended Stripline Filter (유한차분 시간영역법을 이용한 Suspended Stripline 해석 및 필터 설계)

  • A simple and efficient analysis method of the suspended stripline using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is presented. New FDTD equations are derived using the contour path FDTD concept for the Yee cell which contains a dielectric sheet. The characteristic impedance and the effective dielectric constant of the suspended stripline are calculated using our proposed FDTD method. Using the calculated results, a 5-element lowpass filter is designed and fabricated. Our proposed FDTD method is validated by the measured data of the fabricated lowpass filter.

  • To investigate the in-cylinder phenomena in a SI engine with 3 valves and pent-roof type combustion chamber, flow fields, fuel distributions, and flame propagations were measured in a single c!'tinder visualized engine. Flow fields were visualized by PTV system during the intake and compression process. Fuel distributions were measured by PLIF at the various engine conditions including the cold and hot engine conditions and the effect of air-shrouded injector on the fuel distribution was investigated also. In addition, flame propagation patterns were characterized.

  • Air-guided single-mode propagation of THz radiation in a photonic crystal waveguide (PCW) has been experimentally demonstrated for the first time. The PCW has been fabricated by introducing an air defect at the center of an air/Si 1D photonic crystal. By using a THz time-domain spectroscopic technique, we have experimentally shown that the guiding mechanism of the air-guiding PCW is the photonic bandgap effect.

  • ATCB의 구조 중 아크 소호부는 공기 중에 노출된 금속(그리드)이 일정한 간격을 두고 적층되어 있는 모양을 하고 있다. 아크 소호부의 주기능은 아크를 소호실 안쪽으로 유도하여(기중 차단방식) 여러 개의 짧은 아크로 분할시키며 아크를 냉각, 소멸시켜 전류 차단을 빠르게 하는 것이다. 아크를 구동시키는 소호살의 형상과 구조에 따라 아크의 구동력은 많은 차이를 보이게 된다. 여기서는 신개념의 자동절체 스위치인 ATCB(Automatic Transfer Circuit Breaker)의 그리드의 구조에 따라 아크 구동력을 비교하여 아크 소호부의 최적 형상과 절연구조를 설계, 모델링하였다.

  • 글라이딩 아크 플라즈마의 화학적 반응성을 이용하여 대표적 휘발성 유기 화합물인 벤젠의 분해를 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 실험에는 벤젠과 공기의 mixture gas를 사용하였다. 글라이딩 아크 플라즈마에 공급되는 전력을 변화시키며 각 regime의 방전 특성을 아크주의 방전 특성을 나타낸 O. Mayr의 식에 따라 살펴보았으며 플라즈마와의 반응전.후의 mixture gas내 포함되어 있는 벤젠 peak area의 크기를 GC(Gas Chromatography)를 통해 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 차량 내 이산화탄소 농도 측정을 통해 운전자의 졸음운전을 예방하는 모델을 제안한다. 제안된 모델은 이산화탄소 농도 측정 센서를 연결한 아두이노 보드를 차량 내부에 부착하여 측정된 수치를 실시간으로 분석한다. 분석된 수치를 운전자, 탑승자에게 전송하여 자발적으로 졸음 방지를 유도한다. 또한 설정된 수치 이상인 경우 차량 내 사용자와 차량 외 보호자에게도 경고 메시지를 전송하고 차량 내 공기 상태를 알린다. 추후 차량 내 환경과 운전 시간, 탑승자 정보 등을 활용하여 전송된 수치를 분석하면 운전 환경 개선을 위한 방안을 모색할 수 있다.

  • We designed high dose rate Ir-192 source which was prepared for substitute the Co-60 source in Ralstron unit (Simatsu, Japan) which is supplied for cervical cancer treatment. The source dimension is 1.5 mm in a diameter and 1.5mm thickness of cylinder and encapsulated with 3 mm diameter of stainless steel(SUS316L) to substituted for the Co-60 source size. The Ir-192 source was prepared the dose model for tissue dose computation through the experimental determination of apparent activity and applied the empirical tissue correction factors extended to 20cm distance. The tissue dose model was applied the 4.69 R/cm-mCi-hr gamma constant and the ratio of energy absorption coefficient of water to that of air showed 1.112 include filteration of the self-absorptions. In this experiments, we prepared the dose computation software to clinical usefulness.

  • Proton exchange membrane (PEM) should be sufficiently hydrated with proper water management to maintain a good ionic conductivity and performance of a PEM fuel cell. However. cathode flooding resulting from excess water can impede the transport of reactants and hence deteriorate the fuel cell performance. For the PEM fuel cell to be commercially viable as vehicle or portable applications, the flooding on the cathode side should be minimized during the fuel cell operation. In this study, visualization technique was applied to understand the cathode flooding phenomena on the cathode side of a PEM fuel cell. To this end. a transparent PEM unit fuel cell wi th an act ive area of $25cm^2$ was designed and manufactured to allow for the visualization of cathode channel with performance characteristics. Two-phase flow resulting from the electro-chemical reaction of fuel cell was investigated experimentally. The images photographed by CCD camera with cell operating temperatures $(30\~50^{\circ}C)$ were presented. Results indicated that the flooding on the cathode side first occurs near the exit of cathode channel. As the operating temperature of fuel cell increases. it was found that liquid water droplets tend to evaporate easily and it can have an influence on lowering the flooding level. It is expected that this study can effectively contribute to the detailed researches on modeling water transport of an operating PEM fuel cell including two-phase flow phenomena.

  • In this paper, We are going to propose the fire protection system using CAN(Controller Area Network). The larger, higher and deeper buildings an, the more dangerous people are when fire happens. We should be aware of the problems of prior fire protection system. Therefore, we construct the embedded system based on CAN communication that is capable of N to N communication, and build independent fire protection system. If the fire is occurred on the building, the problem is that how fast we can detect the fire and put it on by using available system, this is major factor that reduces damage of our wealth. Therefore in this studies, We would like to design more stable system than current system. This system is based on CAN communication which is available N to N communication constructs and designed to compensate for each fault, so that our aim is to reduce the wires of system, cost of installation and to suppose future type fire protection system.
