A school record system by mobile phones is developed using the mobile agent. This developed system support all the wireless protocols by o combined wire and wireless internet Sever for WAP, ME. As a result, it is possible for a student to check his result of achievement and bulletin board by his mobile terminal anywhere, anytime.

As wireless internet market grows rapidly in recent years, demands of various contents in wireless internet is significantly being increased. XHTML with extensibility that can support many kinds of internet web clients and platforms is established in world-wide standards of markup language. XHTML reforming HTML4 in XML 1.0 is recognized that It is the heart of the technology to integrate existing contents and increase the interoperability in wired and wireless internet. XHTML Basic for wireless internet are based on the XHTML. In this paper, we design and implement an document editor for XHTML Basic.'rho wireless internet document editor supports CSS creation that users can display XHTML Basic documents as they want. It also supports WYSIWYG editing that user4 inn make out them without difficulty.

최근의 정보통신은 하루가 다르게 기술혁신에 의한 변화를 맞이하고 있는 가운데, 기술이 시장을 주도하여 신기술이 시장구조를 변화시킴은 물론 정보통신 사업구조를 크게 개편시키고 있다. 정보통신망기술은 다양한 멀티미디어 정보를 대량, 고속으로 전송·교환할 수 있는 방향으로 발전되고 있으며, 단말기는 유·무선전화서비스를 비롯하여 영상정보까지 다양하게 송수신할 수 있는 보다 작고 간편한 멀티미디어 일체형으로 발전하고 있다. 서비스분야에서는 디지털화, 고속화, 광역화에 따라 문자, 음성, 영상 등이 통합된 멀티미디어서비스가 보급되고 있으며, 특히 '7년부터 상용화된 인터넷을 통한 전화와 방송서비스는 정보통신분야에 새로운 사업영역으로 등장하고 있다. 이로인해 기존의 통신사업 질서인 “유선통신 대 무선통신”, “기본통신 대 고도통신”, “통신 대 방송”의 개념은 무너져 버리고, 기술과 시장이 상호 융항되어 새로운 통신사업 구도를 형성시키고 있다. 이의 대표적인 사례는 인터넷분야이며, 기존의 전화사업은 물론 CATV등 방송사업에까지 시장잠식과 구도변화라는 형태로 커다란 영향 미치고 있다. 국내 정보통신 사업정책도 이러한 세계적인 추세에 따라 이미 지난해 별정통신 사업자의 신설 등 정책과 제도를 바꾸었으나, 기술혁신 속도보다 늦게 반응하여 사업초기에 혼란을 주고 있는 실정이다. 최근 기술에 의한 시장구조 변화에 대응하기 위하여 정부는 기존 국가 초고속망구축사업도 대폭 수정하여, 즉 모든 가입자선로를 광케이블로 연결하는 당초의 계획을 ADSL 등 기존 전화선의 활용과 WLL기술을 선택적으로 적용시키고 있다. 통신사업자들도 유선위주의 전송망과 가입자망을 LMDS, WLL 등의 무선통신망으로 구축하려는 현상이 나타나고 있으며, 정보통신 정책도 과거의 유·무선통신을 별개로 취급하던 정책에서 선회하여 겸업 또는 연계를 권장하는 방향으로 전환되고 있다. 이와같이 정보통신분야의 기술혁신과 새로운 서비스의 도입은 기존 서비스시장의 시장잠식은 물론 유·무선영역을 무너뜨리고, 고정사업자와 무선사업자간의 영역이 허물어지는 등 사업자구도를 크게 변화시키고 있다. 이러한 기술혁신의 영향으로 시장경쟁은 심화되어 단기적으로 기존 통신사업자의 경영수지가 악화되기도 하지만, 요금인하를 수반한 신기술서비스의 공급은 이용자 입장에서 저렴하고 양질의 정보통신서비스를 제공받을 수가 있으며, 장기적으로는 서비스이용 증가로 인해 전체적인 시장크기는 더욱 확대되어 통신사업자와 이용자 모두 효율성을 나타낼 수 있을 것으로 전망된다.

TCP (Transmission Control Protocol)는 IP (Internet Protocol)와 더불어 인터넷 핵심 프로토콜 중 하나로써, 현재 Web, e-mail, FTP 등 대다수의 애플리케이션에서 사용되고 있는 연결 지향적이고 신뢰성 전송을 보장하는 전송 계층 프로토콜이다. 유/무선 네트워크가 진화함에 따라 TCP 역시 보다 나은 서비스를 제공하기 위해 많은 연구가 이루어졌고, 이를 통해 최근에는 스트리밍과 같이 지연이 중요한 애플리케이션에서도 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 논문은 모바일 데이터가 폭증함에 따라 무선 네트워크에서의 TCP 성능이 큰 관심을 받고 있는 현 시점에서 최근에 이슈가 되고 있는 무선 네트워크에서 bufferbloat문제의 심각성과 이를 해결하기 위한 방안에 대해 다룬다.

무선통신 단말기의 발전과 함께 이를 활용할 수 있는 방법론에 대한 논의도 활발해지고 있으며, 이중 가장 주목받고 있는 것이 이동 통신 단말기를 이용한 무선인터넷 서비스이다. 이러한 서비스의 기반이 되는 것이 무선 인터넷 프로토콜인 WAP(Wireless Application Protocol)이다. 현재의 셀룰러망을 이용한 통신은 비교적 낮은 전송률을 가지고 있어, 대용량의 데이터들을 포함하는 WWW 문서 및 대량의 무선 마크업 언어(WML: Wireless Markup Language) 문서를 전송하기에는 너무 느린 단점을 가지고 있다. 이에 대한 대안으로 본 논문에서는 WAP 포럼 내에서 제정한 프로토콜에 변환기능을 추가한 Gateway를 설계 및 구현하였다.

인터넷 정보가전이란 유.무선 정보통신망에 연결되어 데이터 송.수신이 가능한 디지털 TV, 인터넷 냉장고 DVD 디지털 비디오 등과 같은 차세대 가전제품을 말하며, 휴대 정보 단말기로 원격 제어하는 홈 시큐리티 기능뿐만 아니라 초고속 인터넷과 연결되어 영화, 음악, 부가정보 등을 전송 받을 수 있어 향후 정보화 사회의 핵심분야로 부각되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 iRTOS$^{TM}$가 인터넷 정보 가전에 응용될 수 있도록 TCP/IP 네트워크 부분을 설계하고 이를 구현한 내용에 대해 기술한다.

유선인터넷을 통한 원격교육, 사이버대학 등을 통해 각종 학습이 활발하게 이루어지고 있으나 아직까지 이동성의 장점으로 인하여 많은 잠재력을 가진 무선인터넷을 이용한 학습 환경은 초기 단계이다. 본 논문에서는 국내 사용자의 무선인터넷 이용실태에 대해 알아보고 관련연구 및 기존의 사례 분석을 통해, 교사가 웹에서 편리하게 문제와 학습 내용을 제공하고 학생은 웹 뿐만 아니라 언제든 이동 중에도 활용 가능한 모바일 단말장치를 이용해 영어 학습을 할 수 있는 유$\cdot$무선 연동 학습지원시스템을 설계, 구현하였다. 구현된 시스템은 교사가 교육 목적에 따라 다양하게 대그룹과 소그룹을 지정하여 학습 내용과 문제를 제공할 수 있도록 하였으며, 학생은 문제를 풀면 즉시 답과 해설을 피드백받을 수 있다. 또한 학생으로부터 교사가 평가를 받음으로써 수업 기술 개선에 도움이 될 수 있는 도구로도 활용 가능하다.

As there have recently been a rapid development in a supercomputer network infrastructure and an increase in the use of wireless terminals such as a PDA and cellular phone, people realize that it is highly required that they develope a various types of application services to integrate wireless network and engage them. On top of that, because current appliances are being converted into digital domestic appliances, and network and such appliances react upon each other, domestic appliances are now evolving to Internet appliances. Thus, people eager to establish a home network, which can offer a various sorts of services to customers because such appliances can share and send the data when such appliances are connected to power lines, telephone wires, and IEEE1394. Along with this, people are also enthusiastically conducting a study on Internet Application, which monitor and control the internet appliances triggered by connecting home network and supercomputer network. This study focuses on designing and developing an integrated wireless home server by effectively integrating wire and wireless network: It can approach and control each internet appliance connected with the home network inside and outside the house. In this study we also test it with an internet appliance simulator.
