A Study on Relationship between Track Impact Factor and Track Support Stiffness of Turnout System on Urban Transit (도시철도 분기기 궤도구조의 궤도지지강성과 궤도충격계수의 상관관계에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the relationship between the track support stiffness and the track impact factor for a sleeper floating track and a turnout system with wood ties currently employed in Korean urban transit was assessed by performing field tests using actual vehicles running along the service lines. Field tests were performed on four track systems (i.e., sleeper floating track, and point, lead and crossing sections of turnout system). The theoretically designed track impact factor and track support stiffness were compared with the corresponding track impact factor and track support stiffness measured through field tests for the target tracks on the service line. The track impact factor for the service line appeared to increase with the deviation of track support stiffness according to vehicle driving direction; therefore, it was inferred that the deviation of track support stiffness between each track section directly affected the track impact factor.

  • Damage on low?rise buildings caused by typhoons and storms is increasing every year. Thus, this study examined the distribution of wind pressure coefficient at each position according to the height of monosloped roof, and measured wind pressure coefficient according to tributary area and compared it with the current wind load standard. We analyzed six areas in order to analyze characteristics at each position of a half span roof, and found that the wind pressure coefficient was around 25% higher at the high comer (HC) than at the low corner (LC). The distribution pattern of peak pressure coefficient at each position was the same as the AIK load standard, but in the results of our experiment, wind pressure was around 40% lower than the load standard at HC and around 37% higher than the load standard at LC.

Indoor positioning system for naval ship personnel using beacon

  • In this paper, we propose a system that can identify the position of naval ship personnel at a glance by utilizing the Bluetooth-based beacons. The system proposed in this paper, installs a beacon receiver which are short-range wireless communication devices for each cabin, and in the installed beacon receiver receives information from beacons held by personnel. The received information is transmitted to the processing server, and the processing server transmits the integrated information of the cabin to the display module. Display module displays personnel information located in each cabin. As a result of simulations using the designed system, it was confirmed that the integrated information is transferred to the display module and displayed. Unlike existing situations where personnel positions are reported orally within the ship, the system can quickly and in real time determine the position of personnel, allowing for the management of personnel in non-combat situations and the rapid battle disposition in combat situations. This is expected to contribute greatly to the improvement of fighting power.

Performance Analysis of the Localization Compensation Algorithm based on Measured Error Patterns of Distance in WPAN (WPAN에서 거리별 측정오차 패턴을 적용한 위치인식 보정 알고리즘의 성능 분석)

  • The performance characteristics and the disadvantages in the compensation algorithm based on the Measured Error Patterns of Distance that is already developed are analyzed, and the localization compensation algorithm(DCA2) based on measured error patterns of distance in WPAN that is the enhanced version of DCA1 is supposed in this paper. From the experimental results, it is confirmed that the localization performance of DCA1 and DCA2 is superior than SDS-TWR as each average above 60% and 75% of the total localizing measurement points in 2 experimental regions, and the localization performance of DCA2 is especially better than SDS-TWR as 91% of the points in $15m{\times}15m$ experimental region. In addition to this, it is confirmed that DCA2 is better than DCA1 as each 16% and 22% of the total localizing measurement points in $10m{\times}10m$ and $15m{\times}15m$ scaled experimental regions, and the average localization errors of DCA1 and DCA2 are lower than SDS-TWR to each 7~12% and 20%. Thus, it can be inferred that DCA2 is the best localization algorithm among 3 localization algorithms SDS-TWR, and DCA2.

작은 산골 마을에서 별을 만나다-하늘별마을 만행산천문체험관

  • 춘양골 남원의 하늘별마을은 만행산 천황봉 자락에 위치한 전형적인 산골 마을이다. 이곳에 아주 특별한 천문대가 있다. 우리나라 어느 곳 에서도 찾아볼 수 없는 산골 마을 천문대인 만행산천체험관이 그곳이다. 특별하다는 표현보다 '특이하다' 가 더 적절할지도 모르겠다.

  • 모바일 장비의 발달로 인하여 무선 통신 기술을 이용한 서비스들이 증가하고 있으며 차량위치 추적 서비스 분야에서도 PDA와 같은 모바일 장비를 사용한 차량 위치 모니터링 서비스가 요구되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 PDA를 이용하여 실시간으로 차량의 위치를 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 시스템은 차량의 위치 정보를 저자 관리하는 차량 위치 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 시스템은 차량의 위치 정보를 저장 관리하는 차량 위치 모니터링 서버와 차량의 위치관련 정보를 제공하는 PDA 클라이언트로 구성하였다. 구현된 시스템은 PDA 클라이언트를 이용하여 실시간으로 이동 차량의 시간 및 구간별 위치정보 검색과 시점 위치정보 검색이 가능하다.

  • It is essential to ensure public use of and privacy of location information for promoting the location based services. The grade designation for location information is required to accomplish them. The grade designation for location information can increase the reliability of location information and reinforce the right of choice for user. Therefore the institution of grade designation for location information should be introduced rapidly to keep up with the growth of the location based services industry.

  • 위성 영상의 위치 정보를 확인하기 위해서는 위성 영상과 함께 위성 위치 및 위성 자세 정보가 필요하다. 위성 위치 정보는 GPS 수신기에서 제공하는 위성 위치 정보를 이용하여 계산될 수 있다. 위성 자세 정보는 별센서에서 제공하는 위성 자세 정보 또는 제어 시스템에서 제공하는 위성 자세 정보를 이용하여 계산될 수 있다. 이 때 위성 영상의 위치 정보를 정확하게 계산하기 위해서는 위성 위치 및 자세에 대한 정확한 시간 정보가 필요하다. 본 연구는 위성 영상의 위치 정확도 향상을 위해 위성 설계시 고려해야 할 사항과 위성에서 제공하는 위성 영상, 위성 위치 정보, 위성 자세 정보를 이용하여 위성 영상의 위치를 계산하는 방법을 기술하였다. 본 연구 결과는 위성 영상의 위치 정확도와 관련된 성능 지표를 가지고 있는 저궤도 위성의 설계 및 검보정에 유용할 것으로 예상된다.

  • With the continued popularity of mobile devices such as smart-phones and tables, the development of the various kinds of digital contents making tools has not increased only the productivity of the digital contents, but also the demand of them rapidly. Geo-contents which means the digital contents related to location(geographic) information has enabled the user custom services. Especially, there are already some commercial location-based services that provide the user to POI (Points of Interest) with the geo-image contents such as photos tagged by the location. In the geo-video contents, there could be several related locations in the whole video, but only one representative location is used to tag a location to the video. In this paper, we have define the geo-video as a video content which has as many locations as the number of frames composing the video. We have also proposed the geo-video making tools and a viewer to create and utilize the geo-video contents. The geo-video contents proposed in this paper, are widely used in location based video contents searching services.
