Investigation of Internal Temperature Distribution in Domestic Refrigerators and Freezers (가정용 식품 냉장고와 냉동고의 내부 온도 분포 실태 조사)

  • This study surveyed and compared the temperature distribution in domestic refrigerators and freezers used in Korea to determine whether temperature varied according to the location of food storage. We selected 50 people to collect temperature data; among them, 25 measured the temperature of refrigerators, while the remaining measured the temperature of freezers. Consequently, the lowest and highest temperatures measured in domestic refrigerators were found to be -8.2℃ and 15.8℃, respectively, with an average temperature of 3.73℃. The temperature distribution based on internal location was: 5.06±1.69℃ for the door storage compartment, 4.18±1.19℃ for the inside wall surface, and 3.41±1.36℃ for the inner storage box. Significant temperature differences between the top and bottom were only identified at the door storage compartment (P<0.01). Further, the minimum and maximum temperatures measured in the freezer was -30.3℃ and 0.7℃, respectively, with an average temperature of -17.95℃. The temperature distribution based on location was: -17.19±1.68℃ for the door storage compartment, -17.81±1.07℃ for the inside wall surface, and -18.78±1.72℃ for the inside storage box. The results were similar to that of the refrigerator, with the lowest temperature in the inside storage box, and a significant temperature difference between the top and bottom noted only at the door (P<0.01). The maximum temperature difference (between locations) within the refrigerator and freezer was found to be 2.18 and 2.02℃, respectively. In conclusion, the temperature in the entire space was not constant; there were significant deviations at different storage locations. Therefore, public authorities should actively advise customers on the recommended storage locations for each food type. People will benefit from awareness about storage management, including avoiding storage of temperature-sensitive foods in door compartment.

  • 도시주민들은 경제, 문화생활 및 의식수준이 향상됨에 따라 보다 다양하고 양질의 공공서비스를 요구하게 되었다. 주민들의 이러한 요구는 공공서비스 시설의 입지문제와 직결되는 것으로 도시의 입지결정 시 가장 중요한 고려사항 중의 하나는 공공서비스를 보다 저렴하고 편리하게 시민들이 이용할 수 있게 제공함으로써 이용주민들의 복지를 극대화 시켜야한다는 점이다. 이러한 기본 목적을 충족시키기 위해서는 공공시설의 위치결정이 중요한 문제가 된다. 본 논문에서는 접근성 이론과 GIS 공간분석 기법을 접목하여 입지분석을 시행하였으며 연도별 최적입지를 산출하고, 각 구청의 연도별 최적 입지점의 지도화를 통해 그들의 이동 추이를 추적하며 각 구청의 연도별 최적값의 변화 추이를 살펴보았다. 또한 비교분석을 통하여 연도별 현구청의 입지 혹은 이전할 입지의 적합성을 평가하였다. 이를 위해서 입지분석을 위한 이론적 검토로서 공공서비스 시설의 입지이론에 대해 살펴보고 구청사의 입지 적정성을 객관적인 기준에 따라 평가할 수 있는 계량적인 입지분석 방법을 검토 정립하였다. 본 연구에서는 이론적인 근거를 실제 공공시설적용을 위하여 금천구를 선정하였고, 구청의 도시현황을 분석하고, 도로망, 인구추정을 통하여 관련자료를 수집하였다. 이를 토대로 정성적, 정량적 분석 및 효율성과 형평성을 고려하여 구청사 위치의 적정성에 대한 결론을 도출하였다.

  • 본 연구는 만경강을 대상으로 하도경사에 따라 하천을 상 중 하류로 구분하고, 빈도별 홍수량에 따라 홍수범람면적과 공간적 자료를 이용하여 하천공간을 확보해야 하는 지역과 홍수 방어 대책 수립이 필요한 지역을 선정하고자 한다. 이에 따라 홍수범람도 작성을 위해 만경강 유역을 무제부로 가정하고 CAESAR LISFLOOD 모형을 이용하여 홍수범람해석을 수행하였다. 하천의 상 중 하류별 범람해석 결과 상류하천 유역에서는 빈도별 홍수량이 커져도 홍수범람면적의 변화가 작았으며, 하류 하천의 경우 빈도별 홍수량이 커짐에 따라 범람면적이 크게 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 하천구간별에 따라 홍수범람해석 결과와 GIS 정보인 건물위치 및 도로망도 등을 활용하여 제내지 지역을 분할하고 분할된 지역에 대하여 하천 공간확보 가능지역과 홍수방어가 필요한 지역을 선정하였다. 분석결과 하류지역은 하천 공간확보가 가능한 후보 지역이 상대적으로 많고, 상류지역은 홍수방어가 필요한 지역이 상대적으로 많은 것으로 분석되었다. 향후 과거 하천 형태 및 습지 분포 위치 등 보다 다양한 GIS자료를 이용한 하천공간 확보 가능지역에 대하여 분석이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

Analysis of Relative Risk by Accident Types at Intersections, Crosswalk and Tunnel Sections (교차로, 횡단보도, 터널 구간에서 사고유형에 따른 상대적 위험도 분석)

  • This study presents risk ranking by accident types at intersections, crosswalk and tunnel sections. An ordered logit model was used to estimate the accident severity of traffic accidents based on 58,868 accident records that have occurred on the Seoul and Gyeonggi-do over the period 2014-2017. The factors affecting the injury severity were identified by the estimated model first, and risk ranking was proposed according to conditions of accident occurrence using relative ratio analysis later. The analysis results showed that the injury severity dramatically depends on the location and time of the accident. Furthermore, there are severe injury cases in terms of the injury severity despite the small number of occurrence of traffic accident, or there are severe injury cases in terms of the injury severity despite the high frequency of occurrence of traffic accident.

Simulation Study of Energy-efficient Routing Algorithm in Hierarchical WSN Environments (계층적 구조의 WSN 환경에서 에너지 효율적인 라우팅 알고리즘의 시뮬레이션 연구)

  • The hierarchical routing could cause a lot of energy consumption for transferring data by assigning hierarchical routes although actual nodes could be located in physically near spots. Also, when Node Failure or Association Error occurs, the Hierarchical routing could waste more energy to deliver the control messages. This paper evaluate performance of SHP(Shortest Hop Routing) algorithm that suggests short-cut routing algorithm using NL(Neighbor List) and Redirect_ACK message to improve problem of hierarchical routing algorithm. We do a computer simulation by the size of network, deployment of sensor nodes, sink position and POS. As a result of simulation, SHP has better performance than Zigbee Hierarchical routing and HiLow.

Dissolved Oxygen Trend in Sapgyo Stream Watershed (삽교천유역의 용존산소 추세)

  • In this study, monthly and seasonal dissolved oxygen trends of 19 water quality measurement stations in Sapgyo stream watershed were analyzed using monthly dissolved oxygen (DO) data measured for 16 years (1995~2010). Mann-Kendall trend test and Sen's slope estimator were carried out for trend analysis. Furthermore, Sapgyo stream watershed was divided into four different sections (Sapgyo stream, Muhan stream, Gykgyo stream, and Sapgyo lake) and chi-square test of homogeneity for DO trend was carried out for four different sections. The study results indicated that most of water quality measurement stations showed increasing or non-significant trend of DO on a monthly and seasonal basis. The chi-square test of homogeneity for each water quality measurement station showed the statistical homogeneity in seasonal DO trend; however, the test results showed the statistical non-homogeneity in monthly DO trend for the stations located in the reservoir. Overall, the dissolved oxygen trend in each water quality measurement station showed different patterns depending on the location of each station and season.

A case study on troubles analysis and diagnoses of passenger car's engine based on OBD (OBD에 기초한 승용차 엔진의 고장유형 분석과 진단 사례 연구)

  • In this study, we have performed a systematic case study on troubles and diagnoses of passenger car's engine based on OBD. We have acquired 1,242 data in order to analysis accurate troubles' causes and apposite diagnoses. 128 data of them are got using OBD apparatus, and the rest of them are collected on related website. As results, distribution on trouble cases shows bad idling(32%), poor acceleration(21%), stop in running(19%), faulty start(11%), inferior fuel economy(9%), and insufficient power(8%) in order of magnitude. And in the systematic cases, it is not difficult to detect troubles in a single part. But we know that special apparatus such as multichannel scanner is needed in complicated troubles. Furthermore we think that the survey is continued in various ways for more systematic case study on troubles and diagnoses.

A study on the Residential Satisfaction of Environmental Condition for Housing Complexes located in Coastal Areas (연안역에 입지하는 주거단지 생활자의 거주환경 만족도에 관한 연구)

  • Regarding the developmental plans for the coastal areas and marine architectures, this study deal with the overall planning of apartment complexes in waterfront areas, focusing upon the analysis of their comfort and convenience factors from the perspective of the potential residence. It also analysis the intra-complex comfort and satisfaction conditions in terms of their floor-by-floor, directional. and location factors. The results of the study are as follows: 1) The order of respondents' preference on directional factor has been found to be: South > Southeast > Southwest > East > others. 2) 67% of the people surveyed on scenery responded that outward view is considered more significant than the directional factor. 3) A comprehensive analysis of floor zone-specific view preference shared that there were only minor differences among quay wall, arc, and river-seashore types. The impact of the characteristics of the marine environments turned out to be a greater point of consideration; showing that the other of floor-preference is: high-level > ultra-high level > middle level > low level.
