Analysis of The Partial Discharge Pattern in XLPE using Statistical Distribution (분포통계를 이용한 XLPE의 부분방전 패턴해석)

  • 최근 전기에너지의 사용비율은 해가 거듭될수록 증가되고 있으며, 경량화 소형화로 인한 전력기기의 스트레스가 증가되었다. 또한 고압송전으로 인해 전기적 사고는 대형사고를 유발하므로 전력기기의 수명예측은 매우 중요한 과제이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 XLPE 절연체의 보이드 유무에 따른 부분방전 패턴을 K-means 분포통계함수를 이용하여 부분방전 패턴의 그룹화를 시도하였다. 또한 전하량과 방전빈도수의 분포를 비교하기 위해 위상-전하랑 및 위상-전하량-빈도수에 의한 그룹의 centroid 이동 변화에 대하여 조사하였다. 그 결과 보이드가 존재하는 경우 전하량의 높은 점에서 중심점을 형성하였고, 방전발생위상의 차이는 크지 않았다. 또한 위상-전하량의 클러스터보다 위상-전하량-빈도수의 클러스터에서 객체간 편차가 더 커짐을 발견하였다.

  • Shack-Hartmann 센서로부터 얻어진 기울기 정보로부터 파면을 재구성하고 분석하기 위해서는 각각의 점 영상에 대한 위상 구배로부터 파면의 위상을 재구성할 수 있는 수학적인 알고리즘이 필요하다. 파면의 위상을 재구성하기 위한 알고리즘은 Hudgin, Fried, Southwell이 제시한 세 가지 방법에 대한 연구결과가 가장 많이 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 CCD 카메라로부터 전송된 디지털 영상에서 각각의 점 영상의 중심점을 추출하여 점 영상의 이동정보로부터 수평과 수직방향의 기울기를 계산하고, 이를 바탕으로 최소제곱법(least-square fitting)을 사용하여 위상을 재구성하였다. 파면의 기울기 정보로부터 파면을 재구성하기 위해 기존의 이론을 바탕으로 행렬계산법을 사용하여 각각의 경우를 일반화하였고, 위상의 복구와 파면의 보정에 따른 해석적인 오차의 관계를 논의하였다. East Asian Precipitation and Circulation Response to the Madden-Julian Oscillation (매든-줄리안 진동의 위상에 따른 동아시아 지역의 강수와 순환의 변동성)

  • This study examines the effects of the Madden-Julian oscillation (MJO) or the Intraseasonal Oscillation (ISO) on precipitation, temperature and circulation anomalies over East Asia according to the eight different MJO phases during the winter and summer seasons. A nonlinear response appears the wintertime precipitation pattern during the phase of 3 (where the MJO center is located over the Eastern Indian Ocean) and 8 (where the MJO center is located over the Western Hemisphere) over the Korean Peninsula. That is, for these phases, the positive precipitation anomalies appear for the MJO intensity less than 2 standard deviations while the negative precipitation anomalies appear in the case of the MJO intensity greater than 2 standard deviations. The negative precipitation anomaly in the latter case is duandard d stronger anomalous anticyclone formed over the Korean Peninsula and cold and dry advection by northerly winds. The response of precipitation and circulation to the boreal summer ISO is also investigated.

Design of Vector Attenuator (벡터 감쇠기의 설계)

  • Magnitude/phase controlling circuit which is composed of attenuator and phase shifter make phase/gain cross-coupling, so too much tuning time is needed to find optimum operation point. In this paper, vector attenuator which control magnitude and phase of input signals is proposed. Vector attenuator in past ignores phase variation characteristics of attenuator, but vector attenuator of this paper compensates phase variation characteristics of attenuator. This vector attenuator consists of 0$^{\circ}$/180$^{\circ}$ phase shifter and low phase shifting attenuator and so forth. A 0$^{\circ}$/180$^{\circ}$ phase shifter has 0$^{\circ}$/179.9$^{\circ}$ phase shifting characteristics at a center frequency 881 MHz and a low phase shifting attenuator has an attenuation of 25dB, within the limit of 3.6$^{\circ}$ phase shift and less than -20dB reflection characteristics at both input and output ports. The designed vector attenuator shows that cartesian coordinate plane of output signal space can be represented correctly.

  • This paper presents the description of a 4-bit digital p-i-n diode phase shifter that was designed for quasimillimeter wave band satellite receiver to use in phased-array systems. 180$^{\circ}$ and 90$^{\circ}$ cells are designed in reflection type that consists of a 3-dB rat-race hybrid coupler, 45$^{\circ}$ and 22.5$^{\circ}$ cells are designed in loaded-line type to reduce the size of circuit and the number of diode to be used. The 4-bit phase shifter uses eight p-i-n diodes mounted in the microstrip circuit. The average insertion loss for the 16 phase states is 6.92dB over the 19.8~20.3 GHz band and maximum phase error is 6.2$^{\circ}$ at 20 GHz.

  • This study to design an optimum phase implementing a 256 phase Opto-ULSI processor for multi-function capable optical networks. The design of an 8 phase processor is already in construction and will provide the Initial base for experimentation and characterisation. The challenge is to be able to compensate for the non-linearity of the liquid crystal, find an optimum phase, and implement a larger scale Opto-ULSI processor. This research is oriented around the initial development of an 8 phase Opto-ULSI processor that implements a Beam Steering (BS) Opto-ULSI processor (OUP) for integrated intelligent photonic system (IIPS), while investigating the optimal phase characteristics and developing compensation for the non-linearity of liquid crystal.

Design and Performance Analysis of Wideband Six-port Phase correlator (대역폭이 향상된 Six-port 위상 상관기 설계 및 성능 분석)

  • The six-port correlator is comprised of a power divider and three hybrid couplers. In this paper, the six-port phase correlator using three-arm branch $90^{\circ}$ hybrid coupler were designed with the center frequency of 11.85 GHz. The performances for the six-port phase correlator was analyzed by using ADS2003A tool. Three-arm six-port phase correlator provides more wide dynamic frequency range than that of six-port using the conventional hybrid coupler in range of circa five times, which is range of 10.8 to 12.3GHz (1.5 GHz). The phase errors among the output ports of the six-port phase correlator are below $5^{\circ}$. The six-port Phase correlator was fabricated to evaluate the Performance of the proposed six-port phase correlator. The measured performance of the six-port phase correlator shows the good accordance with the simulation data.

  • A frequency synthesizer that can be used in IMT-2000 was designed and fabricated using dual loop PLL(Phase Locked Loop) in this paper. For improving phase noise characteristic two loops, reference loop and main loop, were divided. Phase noise was improved by transformed clamp type voltage controled oscillator and optimizing loop bandwidth in reference loop. And voltage controlled oscillator open loop gain in main loop. Fabricated the frequency synthesizer had 1.81GHz center frequency, 160MHz tuning range, 13.5dBm output power and -119.73dBc/Hz low phase noise characteristic.

  • In this paper we propose an opposite-sign phase method to implement a nulling antenna using genetic algorithm. In the opposite-sign phase method the phase value of each antenna element in the linear phased array antenna is symmetrical to the center of the array and the sign of the phases of the neighboring elements is alternating. Compared to the conventional genetic algorithm our genetic algorithm shows the capability of synthesizing nulls faster and sharper.

Equivalent Circuit Design of Broadband 90° Phase Shifter (광대역 90° 위상 변이기의 등가 회로 설계)

  • A novel, simple and broadband $90^{\circ}$ phase shifter was proposed and fabricated by the LTCC process. It is composed of a $180^{\circ}$ transmission line between two $90^{\circ}$ shorted transmission lines. Design equations for the proposed $90^{\circ}$ phase shifter are derived by the method of admittance parameter analysis. Based on design equations, $90^{\circ}$ phase shifter was designed and fabricated to operate in the C-band with ${\pm}2^{\circ}$ of phase deviation.
