Design and Implementation of 3D Geospatial Open Platform Based on HTML5/WebGL Technology (HTML5/WebGL 기반 3D 공간정보 오픈플랫폼 소프트웨어 설계 및 구현)

  • Recently, the utilization of geospatial open platforms has been constantly increased and the interest in 3D geospatial data such as terrain, building and shopping mall has been increased significantly. In particular, rather than simplified 3D geospatial data, interest in high-precision 3D geospatial data which similarly represents the real world objects has increased significantly. In order to satisfy the demand for such the high-precision 3D geospatial data, various kinds of 3D geospatial open platforms has been developed and has provided services on the web. However, most of the 3D geospatial open platforms have been used plug-in module in order to ensure a fast 3D rendering performance on the web, despite the many problems such as difficulty of the installation, no supporting of cross browser/operating system and security issues. In addition, recently, the existing 3D geospatial open platforms based on plug-in module are facing a serious problem, by declaring the NPAPI service interruption in Chrome and Firefox browsers. In this study, we presents the design and implementation of a new 3D geospatial open platform based on HTML5/WebGL technology without the use of plug-ins. Such the new 3D geospatial open platform based on HTML5/WebGL may support cross browsers such as IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari and cross OS platforms such as Windows, Linux, Mac and mobile OS platforms.

  • 과학 기술과 의학 기술의 발달로 전 세계적인 고령화 인구 비율도 해마다 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 고령화 인구 증가 현상에 대한 대책 방안의 하나로 U-HealthCare 시스템에 구글맵(Google Map) 3D 기반의 실시간 위치 추적기법을 적용 시켜 노약자들이 이동하는 중간에 실시간 위치 추적을 실시하여 추후 발생 할 수 있는 위험 사태에 대비하고자 한다. 제안 방식은 구글 맵 3D 서비스 방식이기에 2D 서비스나 문자 서비스 방식보다 시각적으로 건물의 생김새나 주변의 건물에 대한 정확한 파악이 가능하여 노약자들의 위치 정보에 대한 신속한 대체가 가능하다.

  • 인터넷 사용자들이 정적인 정보 페이지 검색의 형태를 벗어나 인터넷상에서 프로그램을 실행하여 정보를 해석하고 볼 뿐만 아니라, 변경하고 새롭게 창조할 수 있는 동적인 정보를 제공하기 위해 가장 보편적인 3차원 데이터, 3D MAX-Studio의 텍스트 출력물인 ASE 포맷 파일을 파싱하여 렌더링 해주는 3D Viewer 프로그램 구현 하고, 이를 ActiveX 컴포넌트인 OCX로 만들어 웹 페이지 상에서 실행 가능하게 한다. 그리고 데이터의 효율적 관리와 사용자와의 상호작용을 위하여 ASE 모델들을 위한 데이터베이스를 구축하여 사용자 상호작용적인 3D View Web Service를 실현한다. 이를 통하여 인터넷을 통한 실시간적인 정보 교환이나, 네트워크상의 가상공간 내에서의 공통 업무 작업의 가능성을 내다 보았다.

  • The GIS which is analysis of the real world to construction of 3D virtual city develop s in rapid growth. 3D virtual city is simulated by use of a GIS, Computer graphics, virtual reality and Spatial database. In this paper 3D topographical basemap which have the geographic coordinate of world was constructed by digital map. And build the Cyber city with combining the building that have elevation and 3D topographical basemap. By using server/client system for the cyber city. 3D cyber city web service implemented. We proposed the hybrid base web service method rather than the image or vector base web service. By the spatial and attribute search in the 3D Cyber City, overcome the existing simple visibility of Web 3D technology, and exhibited development direction to the Web 3D GIS.

  • 본 동향은 최근 각광을 받고 있는 소셜 네트워크 서비스 기술과 관련하여 현재 사용자에게 제공되고 있는 서비스와 진행되고 있는 연구 분야 전반에 걸쳐 소개한다. 소셜 관계를 제공하는 역할인지, 소셜 관계를 사용하는 역할인지에 따라 서비스의 행태를 나눠 기술하고 그러한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 필요한 대표적인 기술 분야로 소셜 네트워크 분석, 소셜 미디어, 시맨틱 소셜 웹, 소셜 검색에 관한 연구 개요를 설명한다. 마지막으로 소셜 네트워크 서비스의 폭발적인 성장에 기여한 스마트폰과 관련하여, 모바일 소셜 네트워크 서비스 동향을 살펴본다.

  • In Web2.0 environment, with advanced platform technologies, global vendors such as Google, Microsoft and Yahoo provide competitive geospatial services based on global map and satellite image. But the relatively low level of platform technologies has not rapidly increased the land information and geospatial service markets in Korea. For the ubiquitous next generation Internet, as a one of the R&D projects by Korean Land Spatialization Group, the project for platform technologies has being made to provide customized land information and geospatial service. The platform technologies can be categorized for streamming, mashup and geosearch. More specifically, the 2D/3D Hybird streamming engine, mashup engine for u-GIS service and next generation search engine for land information have being developed. In this context, the strategies for efficient development and use of geoweb platform technologies are required. This study surveys the present geospatial products and services using of platform technologies to propose the strategies for efficient development and use of platform technologies. The strategies for efficient development and use of platform technologies can be proposed focusing on target market and each of platform technologies.

  • Recently, as advancing the technologies for Web 3D and Virtual Reality, the studies have been progressed actively to provide three dimensional information on the web. Especially, the various applications for providing urban information in 3D space have been developed using EAI(External Authoring Interface) that serves an interface between VRML(Virtual Reality Modeling Language), standard language for embodying virtual reality, and JAVA applet in HTML. In this study, as constructing 3D virtual city information using Digital Map, IKONOS satellite image, VRML and so on, we could provide users which need several information with building location and various urban living information. In addition, applying 3D skills such as texturing, panorama and navigation, users were enabled to perform various route searching and scenery analysis. Finally, to serve urban living information in real time, we designed to search information faster through interfacing database and to update data using ASP(Active Server Page) on web.

  • 국가 과학기술 경쟁력 재고를 위하여 R&D기관에서 생성되는 연구데이터를 종합적으로 관리하고 서비스하는 데이터 관리/서비스 시스템의 개발의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 VKH (Visible Korean Human) 데이터를 3차원으로 시각화 서비스하는 플랫폼을 제안하고 구현한다. VKH 데이터는 사망과 동시에 급속 냉동한 인간의 신체를 0.2mm 간격으로 절단하며 촬영한 방대한 양의 실사 이미지 데이터베이스이며, 전통적인 생물학, 의학 분야의 연구뿐만 아니라, 현실감 있는 3D 이미지 구축을 위한 기반 데이터로 이용되고 있다. VKH 데이터 기반의 3D 데이터 시각화 플랫폼은 사용자 접근 편의성을 위하여 웹을 기반으로 구현되고, 트리 형식의 인체 구조 온톨로지와 연동하여 해당하는 인체 구성 요소를 체계적으로 관찰하는 기능, 사용자의 원하는 인체 구성 요소들만을 3D 화면에서 조합하고 관찰하는 기능, 위키피디아 백과사전을 참조하는 기능을 포함한다. 현재 인체의 머리 부분 3D 데이터를 대상으로 플랫폼이 구축되고 있으며, 향후 전체 인체를 대상으로 서비스할 예정이다.

  • QR(Quick Response) Code has been developed to provide greater storage capacity and more functionality compared to 1D bar codes. With the emergence of increasingly mobile devices equipped with cameras such as smart-phones and tablets, QR codes have become very popular and more important in mobile businesses. Typically, most QR codes are used as a URL link for redirecting users to webpages. However, the URL based QR codes are required to be connected over the internet and to be run a server. This can incur unnecessary traffics in the Internet. Furthermore, it is not suitable for the country lagging behind others in its network infrastructure. In this paper, we propose a server-less ${\mu}$-webpage to provide mobile web services and be optimized for the capabilities and limitations of QR Code. We have implemented the ${\mu}$-webpage in Android, and the results showed that the proposed mechanism can provide web-services without requiring extra servers or incurring mobile traffic data compared to the URL-based QR Codes.

Interconnecting Methods of Web based IPTV Contents Provider to IMS and Its Characteristics (IMS 네트워크에 웹기반 IPTV 콘텐츠 사업자 접속 방식 및 특성)

  • In the near future IPTV services will be emerged the various types through Internet, but IMS based IPTV service is one of the very attractive IPTV services. This paper describes the interconnecting architectures of Web based IPTV contents provider to IMS(IP Multimedia System) network and describes the three difference architectures as method to find its IP address. One is the architecture using DNS or HSS to find IP address of Web based IPTV contents provider and connecting gateway function to I-CSCF in IMS. The other is the architecture connecting gateway AS to ISC interface of S-CSCF in IMS. This paper describes the characteristics of traffic generating due to interconnect the Web contents provider, and the traffic model of each architectures. The proposed each architecture is emulated the session establishment delay characteristics in CoD service of IPTV by the simulation. This paper shows that the architecture connecting gateway AS to ISC interface of S-CSCF is the excellent method compare to other two methods in view of the session establishment delay.
