본 연구는 지식과 정보가 경쟁력이 되고 있는 현대 사회에서 고령자들이 웹을 통하여 보다 쉽게 정보를 찾을 수 있는 웹 네비게이션 디자인의 유형을 개발하고자하였다. 예비조사를 통하여 고령자를 위한 웹 네비게이션 디자인의 유형을 제안하였고 30 명의 고령자 그룹을 대상으로 정보 검색 소요 시간, 오류발생 측면, 웹 네비게이션 디자인 요소의 크기와 위치, 레이아웃에 관한 조사를 하였다. 측정된 정보 검색 소요 시간은 반복측정 이원변량분석에 의하여 분석하였고 비디오 분석과 사후 설문조사를 실시하였다. 고령자에게 이상적인 웹 네비게이션 디자인은 페이지의 상단에 가로로 길게 위치한 글로벌 메뉴 아래에 세로로 서브 카테고리 메뉴가 나타나는 유형이며 롤오버 메뉴와 단계적으로 분류된 메뉴, 크게 처리된 본문과 레이블, 움직이지 않는 이미지가 고령자가 정보를 쉽게 찾을 수 있도록 하였다. 이상에서 제시하는 바와 같이 사용편의성을 위한 웹 네비게이션 디자인에서는 고령자가 효율적으로 오류 없이 정보를 쉽고 편하게 찾을 수 있으며 고령자를 위한 웹 네비게이션 디자인의 개발은 고령화 사회에서 노인계층의 인터넷 사용을 활성화 시킬 수 있을 것이다.

웹기반 경매사이트는 전자상거래시장을 대표할 만한 높은 수익성을 올리고있는 인터넷비지니스 수익모델이라고 할 수 있다. 현재 온라인경매를 사용하는 소비자는 경매사이트에서 제공하는 풍부한 정보의 양에 의존하여 전자상거래를 접하고 있다. 기존연구는 온라인 경매사이트의 제공자는 소비자의 입찰에 대한 태도와 참여 의도을 유인하기 위하여 온라인 경매 모델의 형태와 정보의 질에 집중하였던 것을 언급하고 있다. 온라인경매는 웹 인터페이스(Web Interface)를 활용하는 특징을 보유하고 있다. 그러므로, 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인요인은 온라인경매에서 매출액 신장과 입찰에 대한 태도와 입찰 참여 의도를 유인하기 위한 중요한 요소라고 할 수 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 온라인 경매사이트의 매출액 증진을 위하여, 온라인경매에서 입찰 참여 의도와 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인 요인간의 관계 연구는 수행되지 않았다. 본 연구의 목적은 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인 요인과 소비자의 입찰 참여 의도간의 관계에 관한 연구이다. 특히, 아르헨티나를 사례연구로 실증분석을 수행하였다. 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인 요인은 (1)사이트 구조측면과 (2)정보의 디자인 측면 그리고, (3)정보의 내용측면을 추출하였다. 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인요인과 소비자의 선호도 변수들과의 비교분석이 이루어진다. 소비자 선호도 변수는 (1)웹디자인의 유용성 인지도와 (2)정보의 유용성 인지도 그리고, (3)웹사이트의 용이성 인지도가 사용되었다. 본 연구의 분석결과에 의하면, 웹기반 경매사이트의 3가지 디자인요인에 해당하는 사이트의 구조측면과 정보의 디자인측면 그리고, 정보의 내용 측면은 모두 소비자의 입찰에 대한 태도와 입찰 참여 의도에 긍정적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 소비자의 특성에 따른 차이점이 입찰 참여 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 결과로 제공하고 있다.

In this study, I suggested a new model of universal web navigation design which can enhance users' web usability. I would like to prove that when users enjoy web navigation design, they access information much more effectively. Using a survey, I suggest some types of web navigation design for users. After that, I conducted an experiment with 4 types of web navigation designs, which have been developed to reflect varying stages of comprehensibility. My survey focused on three points. First I measured the time they spent to search for information. Second, I tested whether they lost their way while searching for information and if they did lose their way, I checked whether they could recover from their errors and find their way back. Third, I investigated whether layout, location and size of the web navigation design factors affected usability. The results of my survey indicated that users spend the shortest time, have the easiest interface, and have least error incidence under the web navigation design to enhance old-aged users' web usability. Thus, developing a universal web navigation design can encourage people to be more involved with the internet.

With rapid growth of internet uses and the new media, web has become a new medium of communicating and sharing of information. Therefore, the methodology of web interface design must be set to improve the efficiency of communicating and sharing information The study has researched on analyzing method of web interface design for effective uses of web. The study is a precedent research of methodology of web interface design based on the following structures-grouping web contents, information architecture, web page design, structural elements of interface design. Accordingly, the study provides the analyzing method of web interface design with the basis of its structural elements. The analyzing method of web interface design is divided into three steps-grouping of web sites, analyzing structural elements, and evaluation. As a result, grouping and embodying of interface design brings usability guideline for design development as well as collecting of data for examining further results through design processes.

With the increasing number and variety of internet users as well as the development of internet technology, web contents have been taking a more comprehensive, integrated, and practical form. This change has brought to our attention the importance of the information architecture and menu design, both of which are required for the users to navigate vast amount of data promptly, correctly and easily for effective communication in the web sites. In this study, web sites were categorized by the service levels provided to the users, and sampling was performed accordingly. Then, information architecture, the layout and the presentation of the menu design were analyzed. The result of the analysis show that there are distinguishable characteristics in how the menus were expressed and designed, and that these characteristics reflect the users' characteristics in the web interface menu design. With the result of this study, we present a guideline for information architecture and web interface menu design, which reflects user characteristics thereby strengthening usability. Using this guideline, we expect the development of web interface design which should support more efficient communication on the web.

대부분의 웹 기반의 개발 환경에서는 웹 디자인이 변경되는 경우 그에 해당하는 개발 코드를 수정하는 방법을 이용하여 개발한다. 이와 같은 개발 방식은 웹 프로그램의 개발 생산성 및 개발된 코드의 재사용성을 저하시키는 문제를 유발하였다. 그래서 웹 디자인과 개발 코드를 분리하기 위한 다양한 방법들이 제안되었으며 활용되어 왔으나 미흡했다. 본 논문에서 설계, 구현한 MVC기반의 웹 컴포넌트 시스템을 적용하는 경우 설계 단계에서부터 웹 디자인과 개발 코드를 쉽게 분리할 수 있도록 하여 웹 프로그램의 개발 생산성 및 개발 코드의 재사용성을 향상시켰다.

The domain of Web design gradually expands with the utilization of the Web and the development of technologies, but there are insufficient related studies. Thus, this study would recognize the importance of the Web design market and present the direction of designs in the future by investigating the process of changes in Web design. This study investigated the background of the revelation and evolution of design expression techniques and the flow of the information technology affecting the design and conducted a study analyzing the process of changes of Web design based on this. It is judged that this study has significance as the baseline research material for the expansion of the Web design domain of the future. As for the scope of the research, based on 30 years of the history of the Web, this study was conducted with materials on Websites, which had become issues from 1990 through the early-2000s and selected the winners of a grand prize in Web Award Korea since the mid-2000s as the subjects of analysis. This study analyzed the formative characteristics of design expression techniques and the characteristics of the information technology that affected Web design. As a result of the research, changes in design expression techniques could be divided broadly into minimalism and skeuomorphism, and it was found that the methods of expressing Web designs changed in various ways, affected by the development of information technology. It is predicted that with the emergence of various devices and the vitalization of video contents, the designs affected by minimalism, which can harmonize with them, will continue in the future.

This thesis is designed to investigate the relationship of Web Multimedia design. Web sites are needed to approach the lot of ways that increase the user intuitive lay over communicating information nowadays. In the digital era of today, multimedia is composed of such various elements as text, image, sound, animation, video. The method of the thesis is a research questions as this follow. First, the structuring element of the web site type was classified by a form and the contents in the web site. These types in this classified web site are HTML, flash and mixed type. Second, to study this thesis, we made up pose a questionnaire to students in the university as th method of random sampling. The goal of this survey is that user is how to understand about the web multimedia design. Results of analysis may be summarized as follows: 1) It was the image design in the NIKE web site that there would be evaluated the best design effected by flash, and it is finding that the NIDE web site will need more supporting Information, Interactive design through this studies. 2) It was information that there would be evaluated good design effect by text and image in SAMSUNG web site. Based on HTML, SAMSUNG need supporting motion image design by this studies. In conclusion, this thesis suggests that the each web medias should be constructed by the different web design component, according to information, Interactive, image design of web site.

This paper mainly focuses on the design factors of a website targeted at shopping mall websites in China and Korea. We formulated 15 different hypotheses regarding how those design factors are different. The targeted websites are "Gmarket" in Korea and "Taobao" in China. The selected design factors of a shopping mall website are (1) color and design, (2) photo, graphic, and font size, (3) the clarity of information delivery, (4) website structure, (5) screen balance, (6) product display, (7) product harmony, (8) a form of font and icon, (9) visual atmosphere, (10) differentiated color, (11) interesting words, (12) technical skills, (13) entire visual design and atmosphere, (14) navigation, (15) search function for products or information. As a result of analyzing the result using the SAS 9.2 package tool, we figured out that there was a difference between design factors. Additionally, we analyzed this difference and suggested a strategy to design the effective shopping mall web sites.
