Recently, as the development and use of distributed multimedia services are growing explosively in every aspects of our lives, administrators of multimedia services are very concerned with providing users with reliable and efficient services. However, the management of distributed multimedia services is a very complex and troublesome work such that a flexible but powerful management system is necessary. This paper proposes a management system for managing CORBA-based distributed multimedia services. We have developed an architecture for the management system and defined a set of management services needed to monitor and control distributed multimedia services. The architecture consists of several objects, which perform configuration management, fault management, security management and event management. A generic distributed multimedia service (DMS) MIB has been defined for the management of various multimedia services and applications. In addition, as a proof of concept, we have developed a Web-based management system for a CORBA-based distributed multimedia system called MAESTRO. The prototype management system uses OrbixWeb to interface with the management server which is implemented as a set of CORBA objects. Though our management system has been developed for distributed multimedia services, it can easily manage other CORBA-based services and applications.

This study examined the current state of ICT utilization in physical education and presented the available physical education ICT contents configuration model. Using ICT in physical education is expected to be an alternative of overcome the bad physical education facilities and environment, also highly utilized as a valuable material that can provide specific feedback in learning motor skill. The types of ICT use in physical education classes are being utilized divided by web-use learning and application program-use learning. In composing physical education ICT contents, the server presents a problem to be solved by each student and encourage cooperative learning. If one team determines the solving idea about learning problem through team discussion, they solve the problem by repeating the process of giving teacher and other team's feedback on determining opinion. On the other hand, the class begins after learning the principle of specific movement utilizing the VTR or computer S/W in the practical training lesson of physical education. If the good hardware and software environment combine with the transformation of the recognition on physical education which has been away from the ICT, it will be able expected a broad using of ICT in physical education.

Recently, the importance of big data has been increased, and demand for data analysis for the big data is also increased. R language is developed for data analysis, and users are analyzing data by using algorithms of various statistics, machine learning and data mining packages in R language. However, it is difficult to develop an application using R. Early study proposed a method to call R script through another language such as PHP, Java, and so on. However, it is troublesome to write such a development method in addition to R in combination with other languages. In this study, we introduce how to write API using only R language without using another language by using Plumber package. We also propose a solution for security issues related with R API. If we use propose technology for developing web application, we can expect high productivity, easy of use, and easy of maintenance.

Generally, small and medium scale enterprises have conventionally been performing diligence and indolence management by hand, but many of them have been recently costing a lot of money for their diligence and indolence management and security maintenance. But yet, they have annoying sides due to the initial stage cost for the introduction of the system which is consisted of a terminal for reading a card, an RFID card, an administrative sewer and an application program for the diligence and indolence management as well as the insufficiency of the fixing skill being able to cope with the problems originating from hardware and software troubles. For this reasons, we developed a new diligence and indolence management system that the initial stage cost is moderate because it is needless to purchase a new server and to issue a new card, and the operation and management of the system is convenient because an RFID card reader communicates with a central administrative server in IDC(Internet Data Center) over internet for the diligence and indolence management.
