Due to the computer developments and the expansion of data communications, many changes are done to educational environments in addition to the changes of the various social areas. In this paper, a learning system is developed, which adapts itself by checking the changing factors of the learner. The educator works as a overall project manager in this project learning system and the learner benefits from the user-oriented comparative study and pattern design performed in the domains of the internet and intranet.

기존의 BISAgent(Bookmark Information Sharing Agent)는 사용자에 의해 저장되는 북마크를 공유를 기반으로 협동적 웹 브라우징(Collaborative Web Browsing)을 통해 Information Overload를 해결코자 하였다. 하지만, 사용자의 북마크의 메타 정보 입력에 대한 부담은 Information Noise 발생의 원인이 되었고, 그로인한 부작용이 발생하였다. 본 연구에서는 BISAgent에 Ontology의 결합을 통해 사용자가 방문한 사이트의 내용 정보를 해석하여 개념화 하였으며, XML을 이용하여 표현하였다. 그럼으로써 북마크 메타정보의 자동화 및 북마크 자체의 자동 삽입을 통해 사용자의 부담을 최소화하는 효과를 가져왔다. 실험으로써 Ontology를 이용한 일반 HTML 문서의 개념화된 XML 문서로의 변환을 수행하였으며 북마크 정보 저장의 자동화를 위해 사이트 방문 패턴 해석을 실시하여 시스템의 성능을 평가하였다. 양적으로 많은 사용자 북마크를 추출하지는 못했지만 추출된 북마크는 사용자의 재방문이 이루어짐으로써 상당히 높은 정확성을 얻을 수 있었다.

본 논문은 상용 OS 인 windows CE 기반의 PDA에서 음성으로 각 응용 프로그램 을 실행하는 방법 및 구성을 제시한다. PDA는 기존 desktop PC 에 비해 사용자 입력수단이 많지 않고, 그 사용법조차 까다롭다. 예를 들어 SIP(Soft Input Panel)을 이용하여 채팅을 하거나 인터넷 웹 브라우저에 주소입력조차 쉽지 않다. 이에 KT의 자체 개발한 음성인식엔진을 이용하여 PDA내 응용프로그램 과 사용자입력 요구사항을 원활히 연결, 보다 편리한 사용자 입력인터페이스를 제공한다. KT의 음성인식엔진은 corpus 기반으로 HMM 모델을 이용, 사용자 음성을 인식하여 그 결과를 출력한다. 본 논문에서는 PDA에서의 이러한 음성인식엔진을 이용, 다수의 응용프로그램을 실행하고 제어하는 구성과 패턴을 제시한다.

단백질 모티프(motif)란 유사한 기능을 가진 여러 단백질 서열에서 공통적으로 발견되는 패턴으로서 단백질의 기능을 예측하는 단서로 활용된다. 현재 Prosite, Pfam 등의 데이터베이스에서 정규식(regular expression), 가중치 행렬(weighted matrix), 은닉 마코프 모델(hidden Markov model)의 형태로 4천여종 이상의 모티프가 등록되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 연관성 탐사 기법을 적용하여 Hits 데이터로부터 상당히 높은 연관성을 갖는 모티프 집단을 밝히고, 실제 자연현상에서 자주 나타나는 연관성을 교차타당성 (cross-validation) 기법을 통해 입증하였다. 이렇게 밝혀진 단백질 모티프간 연관성을 트라이 탐색 기법을 통해 웹으로 제공함으로써 단백질의 기능유추에 쉽게 접근하고자 한다.

최근 컴퓨팅 환경이 변화함에 따라 현재 운용되고 있는 레거시(Legacy) 시스템을 웹 환경과 같은 새로운 환경에서도 운용할 수 있도록 시스템을 현대화(Modemization) 하고자 하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 특히 설계 패턴, 프레임워크 등의 소프트웨어 재사용 기술과 함께 컴포넌트 기술이 개발, 보급됨에 따라 기존 시스템을 컴포넌트로 변환하거나 연계하는 방법들이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IBM 메인 프레임에서 운용되고 있는 CICS 코볼 시스템을 EJB 래퍼 컴포넌트로 연계하는 일련의 프로세스를 지원하는 연계 도구에 대한 내용으로 도구의 구성과 기능을 상세히 설명하고 있다.

검색시스템은 분류시스템과 지식탐사 시스템을 결합하여 구성한 복합적인 시스템으로 일반 사용자들에게 자신이 일하는 정보의 데이터를 우선적으로 제공한다. 시스템의 특징으로 겉으로 보기에는 일반 검색엔진과 유사하나, 시스템적으로는 요구하는 각종 기능과 검색 기법, 지식탐사기법이 들어있다. 시스템에서는 문서 분류기법과 문서와 검색어 사이의 연관성을 찾기 위한 방법, 문서간의 연속적인 사건을 통한 검색 패턴 탐사기법을 사용하였다. 이들은 시스템의 검색과 분류 결과를 지금까지보다 더욱 인공지능에 가깝도록 하여 준다.

생산 수율은 비선형관계를 지닌 여러 요인들에 의해 영향을 받기 때문에 반도체 생산의 경우 예측이 어렵다. 본 논문에서 저자들은 사례기반추론과 자기조직화신경망 기반의 데이터마이닝 기법을 활용하여 수율의 높고 낮음을 밝히는 지능화된 수율예측시스템을 제시한다. 이 시스템은 자기조직회신경망을 사용하여 생산 로트의 공정파라미터 패턴을 파악하고 속성가중치 기반의 사례기반추론을 통해 신규 로트의 수율 수준을 예측한다. 이때 속성가중치는 역전파인공신경망을 통해 계산된다. 웹기반 시스템이 개발되고, 반도체 생산 기업의 실제 자료를 적용하여 본 시스템의 효율을 검증하고 평가한다.

소셜미디어 상 고객들이 쏟아내는 말을 실시간으로 분석, 조사하는 방법으로 버즈 모니터링 이라는 시스템을 이용하여 웹상의 다양한 정보를 자동으로 검색하고 수집하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 여행사에 관해 소셜 미디어 상의 빅 데이터를 이용하여 보다 정확하고 효율적인 정보 수집과 분석이 가능하도록 하기위한 분석 모델을 제안하고 실제 국내 여행사에 관해 비교 분석한다. 먼저 여행사별 인지도,이미지와 선호도 분석을 하고 관광관련 상품과 서비스에 대한 분석과 함께 소비자 분석으로서 관광의 목적, 동행인 등 소비자의 생활패턴에 대한 분석을 한다. 또한 여행사 관련 영향력자 경향을 트위터 상에서 살펴본 결과 해당 여행사 이용경험자와 관련 뉴스를 제공하는 언론, 이벤트에 관심 있는 사용자들로 유형화 할 수 있었다.

Mobile web applications are different from desktop web applications because of their small screen size and small user input devices. Therefore user interface designers have spent their effort and time to re-design the user interface of mobile web applications to meet these differences. In this paper, we introduce five user interface patterns for mobile web applications to reduce their effort and time. Two of them are for utilizing small screen size efficiently, and they are space overloading pattern and data filtering pattern. These patterns enable designers to reduce screen usage. The other three patterns - data suggestion pattern, input reuse pattern, and incremental data input pattern - are for helping users' data input on mobile devices. These three patterns enable users to reduce direct data input. Our work will help user interface designers develop mobile web interface to utilize screen space efficiently and get data with less errors and less efforts from users.

Recent advances in the internet infrastructure have resulted in a large number of huge Web sites and portals worldwide. These Web sites are being visited by various types of users in many different ways. Among all the web page access sequences from different users, some of them occur so frequently that may need an attention from those who are interested. We call them frequent access patterns and access sequences that can be frequent the candidate patterns. Since these candidate patterns play an important role in the incremental Web mining, it is important to efficiently generate, add, delete, and search for them. This thesis presents a novel tree structure that can efficiently store the candidate patterns and a related set of algorithms for generating the tree structure adding new patterns, deleting unnecessary patterns, and searching for the needed ones. The proposed tree structure has a kind of the 3 dimensional link structure and its nodes are layered.
