본 고에서는 공학분야 중에서도 그 응용범위가 가장 광범위하다고 할 수 있는 기계공학분야의 이용자에게 수준 높은 웹 정보자원을 효율적으로 제공하기 위하여 검색엔진을 통하여 자동 수집된 웹 정보자원을 기계공학분야 주제전문가의 평가를 통해 핵심정보를 선정하고 이를 더블린코어 메타데이터를 응용한 베타데이터 요소에 따라 조직하여 웹 상의 검색 인터페이스에 의해 이용될 수 있도록 주제 게이트웨이 시스템을 설계하였다. 정보자원의 검색방법으로는 키워드 검색과 주제분류체계에 따른 브라우징 검색 등 두 가지 방법을 이용하였다.

웹 학술정보자원의 급속한 증가 및 이용도의 증가로 인하여 이들 자원의 원활한 활용을 위한 체계 마련이 시급하다. 본 연구는 인터넷에 산재해 있는 웹 학술정보자원에 대한 효율적인 DB구축을 위한 기초작업으로서 웹 학술정보자원에 한정된 메타데이터 세트 추출과정과 모형제시 및 각 메타데이터 요소에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 메타데이터 요소 추출은 세계적으로 통용되는 메타데이터 세트의 분석과 매핑 작업 및 웹 학술정보자원의 구축을 위해 필요하다고 판단되는 요소를 추가하였으며 메타데이터 요소의 분석은 더블린 코어의 기본 15개 요소에 기저하여 실시하였다.

인터넷의 확산과 더불어 웹상에는 수 많은 정보들이 존재하게 되었고 이에 따라 웹 학술정보자원의 수도 급격하게 증가하게 되었다. 하지만 방대한 양의 정보자원 속에서 원하는 정보를 신속하고 정확하게 찾아내는 것이 점점 더 어려워져 체계적인 웹 학술정보자원 메타데이터 구축에 관한 이용자의 요구 역시 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 현재 웹 학술정보자원을 선별하여 제공하고 있는 IFL (Internet Faculty Library, http://www.ifl.or.kr)을 통해 웹 학술정보자원 메타데이터에 대한 이용자 만족도를 알아보고 이를 통해 더 나은 서비스와 관리를 위해 고려되어야 할 문제점들을 고찰하였다.

웹 서비스를 구현하기 위해서는 표준화된 WSDL코드를 가지고 SOAP 통신을 해야 한다. 또한 웹 통신을 위해 Tomcat과 AXIS 라이브러리를 필연적으로 사용해야한다. 그러나 Tomcat의 사용은 추가적인 네트워크 사용과 시스템에 프로세스를 상주시켜야 하므로 시스템 자원을 사용하는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 표준화된 웹서비스 처리기를 개선하여 설계함으로써 웹 서비스 구현 시 네트워크 자원과 시스템 자원이 절약하도록 하였다.

This study is to develope the structures and the elements of the metadata for harvesting, management and preservation of a valuable web resources in the web archiving. For this study, we investigated the available metadata in the web archiving and surveyed the requirements of web archiving process. And we analyzed the characteristics of web resources. Also, this study was used a based on the ISO 14721 OAIS Reference Model. Finally, to share the metadata elements among the web archiving system, this study considered the interoperability for the exchange of the metadata. Based on the result, this study designed four structures of the metadata and defined the 28 core metadata elements for the web archiving.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the usability and the value of Web resources as an academic information in writing a paper by citation analysis. In this study each articles from five academic journals in the field of LIS and computers, published from 1999 to 2000, was selected for citation analysis. The result shows that articles in Journal of the Korean Society for Information Management cited the most, and Korea Information Processing Society Review the least, in terms of average number of citing Web resources. In respect of citing rate of Web resources Communications of the Korea Information Science Society was high to 22% of all cited documents, and Journal of the Korean Society for Information Management was the second as high as 18.5%. Articles from selected journals have been increased in citing Web resources form 1999 to 2002. However, Korea Information Processing Society Review appears to be decreased, instead.

본 연구의 목적은 웹 상의 다양한 학술정보자원들을 자료유형별로 효율적인 검색이 가능하도록 다양한 형태의 웹 학술정보자원에 대한 자료유형 분류체계 방안을 제시하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 DCMI(DublinCore Metadata Initiative)를 비롯한 국내외 주요 기관이 연구·개발한 7개의 자료유형 요소 셋을 조사·분석하여, 이를 의미적으로 매핑시키고 그 결과를 참조하여 웹 학술정보자원의 특성에 맞게 10개의 범주 내에 37개의 자료유형 요소를 도출하였다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 자료유형 분류체계는 웹 학술정보자원에 공통적으로 포함되는 요소이므로 각 학문주제별로 적용시킬 경우에는 자료유형 요소의 추가 및 변경을 요구할 수도 있다.

모바일의 발전과 확산으로 인해 모바일 웹의 필요성이 높아지고 있으며 사용성과 접근성이 용이한 웹 기반에서 인적자원 시스템이 구축되고 있는 사례가 많아지고 있다. 인적자원과 관련된 모바일 애플리케이션 개발과 활용성에 대한 연구가 여러 기업에서 진행 중이며 국내외 인적 자원 시스템을 개발하고 있는 기업들은 모바일을 활용하여 인적자원 시스템에 다양한 각도에서 접근하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 본 논문은 모바일 웹 기반의 인사 시스템에서 감성 어휘를 구축하여 면접자가 면접을 통해 받은 감성이나 인상에 대한 정보를 면접자의 모바일을 통해 설문지 형태로 모바일 웹 기반으로 한 채용 시스템에 입력하게 한다. 입력된 정보는 감성 어휘의 특정 형용사를 기준으로 구축된 감성 사전을 통해 면접 환경 개선에 필요한 정보들을 시각적으로 제공하는 모바일 웹 기반의 감성 어휘 분석 모형을 설계하여 면접 환경 개선을 할 수 있는 시각화 모델을 제안한다.

As the requirements of web apps become complex and rapidly changing, the maintenance of web apps becomes more important. However, web apps have a problem that more often than not there is not enough documentation to understand and maintain them. Thus, their effective maintenance requires models that represent their internal behavior occurring when they dynamically generate web pages. Previous works identify web components (such as JSPs and Servlets) as participants in the behavior but not web resources (such as images, CSS files, and JavaScript files). Moreover, they do not identify dependency relations between web components and web resources. This paper dynamically analyzes Java web apps to extract such dependency relations, which are included in our graph model for page generation. Case studies using open-source web apps show the applicability of the proposed approach.

웹은 급속하게 변화하는 현대사회에서 정부와 시민들의 주요 의사소통의 채널이 되고 있다. 웹에서 유통되는 정보량이 급증하면서 정보원으로서의 웹에 대한 의존도가 크게 높아졌을 뿐만 아니라 전적으로 웹에만 존재하는 정보자원도 증가하고 있다. 중요한 가치를 지닌 웹사이트는 짧은 수명주기와 수집, 보존, 활용에 대한 방안이 없어 소멸되고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 웹 기록물 아카이빙을 위한 기반기술로 워크플로우 및 메타데이터 정의가 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 웹 기록물을 아카이빙하기 위해 선별, 수집, 품질관리 및 목록화, 보존, 저장으로 구성되는 워크플로우 및 장기 보존과 검색에 필수적인 메타데이터를 정의하였다. 이러한 연구 개발 및 적용을 통해 사라져 가는 중요한 자원인 웹 기록물을 후대에 중요한 기록물 자원으로 저장 및 관리할 수 있게 될 것이다.
