  • 정보 시스템 개발은 크게 계획, 분석, 설계, 구축의 네 단계로 이루어진다. 이중 사용자 요구사항을 파악하는 분석 단계는 시스템개발 수명주기에 있어 가장 큰 비중을 갖는다. 또한 수명주기의 초기 단계에서 발견되지 못한 결점은 개발이 진행될수록 수정하는데 많은 비용과 노력을 필요로 하게 되어 분석 결과물의 품질은 전체 시스템 품질에 큰 영향을 미치게 된다. 분석 단계의 주요 작업은 데이터 모델링과 프로세스 모델링이다. 이중 데이터 모델리을 위한 지식베이스 시스템 개발에 대한 노력은 기존 연구에서 수행되어 왔으나 프로세스 모델링을 위한 지식베이스 시스템에 대한 연구는 부족하다. 특히 최근 User Interaction이 많은 시스템이 점점 증가하고 있는 추세에 적합한 프로세스 모델링 방법과 지식베이스에 대한 연구가 필요하다.이 연구에서는 사용자 상호작용이 많은 시스템 환경에서의 프로세스 모델링을 위한 절차를 제안하고, 제안된 절차를 효과적으로 지원하고 결과물의 품질을 보증하기 위한 지식베이스 시스템을 구축한다. 모델은 다음의 주요 작업들로 구성된다: 이벤트 분석, 프로세스 분석, 이벤트/프로세스 상호작용 분석. 이벤트 분석은 영향을 주는 이벤트와 그로 인해 수행되어야 하는 업무 절차(Response)를 파악한다. 프로세스 분석은 이벤트 분석과는 독립적으로 수행되며 상위 수준의 업무부터 최하위 수준의 프로세스까지 도출한다. 이벤트/프로세스 상호작용 분석은 이벤트와 프로세스의 분석 결과를 상호 검증하기 위하여 실시된다. 제안된 프로세스 모델링 방법을 지원하기 위한 지식베이스 시스템을 웹 환경에서 구현하였다. 구현된 지능형 robot과 spider 등으로 구성된, 신뢰성 있고 지능적인 MP3 검색 엔진 지원 시스템의 설계와 구현 결과 그리고 성능 등을 종합적으로 요약한다.실어증 환자들은 화시적 대명사를 조응적 대명사보다 더 잘 처리하는 동일한 결과를 보였다. 이러한 실험 결과들은 실어증 환자들이 뇌손상으로 인해 문법적 언어처리에는 어려움을 보이지만 비언어적인, 세상 지식과 관련된 화시적 대명사의 처리는 가능할 것이라는 가설을 뒷받침 해준다. 또한 이러한 실험 결과를 통해 대명사의 기능적인 측면에서 화시와 조응의 처리가 구분되어 있음을 보여준다.l mechanism is concentrate on only the reaction zone.   • The convergence of IT technology and marine facilities monitoring system is needed for effective monitoring systems to marine facilities. Especially the spread of smart device such as smart phone, smart pad, smart TV provide an environment that can check the status of the marine facility for marin facilities manager. However, smart phones and smart pads are used in a variety of OS used. Thus the monitoring system of the various service environments is difficult. In addition, There is inconvenience that must individually developed monitoring system for each device. In order to solve this problem NMMS (N-Screen Marine-facility Monitoring System) is proposed. NMMS is consist of Real-time monitoring system, Fault diagnosis system, Data storage system. To improve variety of smart devices accessibility, we use HTML 5. Through NMMS, marine facilities manager can use smart device such as PC, Notebook, smart phone, smart pad for marine facilities monitoring.

Development and Performance Test of Gas Safety Management System based on the Ubiquitous Home (u-home 가스안전관리시스템 개발 및 성능시험)

  • In this paper, we proposed a system to raise gas safety management by using the wireless communication module and intelligent gas safety appliances. Our designed systems configure a micom-gas meter, an automatic extinguisher, sensors, and a wallpad. A micom-gas-meter monitors gas flow, gas pressure, and earthquake. An automatic fire extinguisher checks gas(combustible) leaks and temperature of $100^{\circ}C$ and $130^{\circ}C$. Sensors measure smoke and CO gas. In our novel system, a micom-gas meter cut off inner valve with warnings, an automatic fire extinguisher cut off middle valve and spray extinguishing materials, and sensors generate signals for smoke and CO when occurring gas risk. Gas safety appliances and sensors takes safety measures, and transmit those signal to a wallpad. The wallpad again transmit signal like events to a control server. Users can connect web pages for gas safety through B-ISDN and control and manage them. We hereby devised scenarios for gas safety and risk management, and demonstrated their effectiveness through experiments.

  • Geographic Information System The geographic information system (GIS) has been limited to the government and some public sectors. Recently, the market has been diversified by combining with other areas such as mobile and CRM (Customer Relationship Management). The development direction of GIS technology in the 21st century is Web GIS, 3D GIS, mobile GIS, LBS, etc. as general technology for GIS application system development and spatial information service. In this study, we developed a new concept marking nail (a marking nail with built - in intelligent storage memory device) from the function of simple positioning of a marking nail related to a previously used underground item,, Burial depth, pipe thickness, piping material, management agency, contractor, contact, etc.) and store it in DB server, if necessary.Make it available in the right place. Through this research, it is possible to prevent and minimize various accidents caused by irregular excavation works, etc., and to provide information for establishing countermeasures related to sink holes. In order to provide systematic and reliable information on underground burial management, it was proposed to input information conveniently in the field, and the purpose was to reduce the incidence of buried underground pipes absolutely.

  • One of the most conspicuous characteristics of a business model that pursues expanding customer relationship is that it tries to lock in customers by encouraging them to repeat purchase in the long-term with the help of "Follow" function in Social Networking Service (SNS), which enables producers to automatically register the customers as potentially important ones and to offer them customized marketing services. In the value chain of the agriculture sector, producers of agricultural products can use SNS functions to provide loyal customers with valuable information and experiences such as the real-time information of their farm and products, hidden stories about the whole process from seeding to harvesting, and the storage and cooking methods of their products. These activities help the producers invoke customers' desire to live in the farm and to grow the products themselves. They also raise the accessibility of the producers' websites as customers are able to share a variety of news and knowledge such as the release of new products. This means that the producers's websites are now functioning to enable the producers to perform sales and promotion related activities. It is a big leap from the traditional e-commerce business model where sales and promotion of a product were separated and could be connected only through outside links. This two-way, viral characteristics of marketing services using SNS facilitate customers to share product information and their purchase experience with each other, which leads to more effective and efficient communication within the customer community.

  • Since various smart devices are being developed, a growing number of people are reading eBooks instead of paper books. However, people started making eBooks on their own by scanning paper books because there are not enough eBooks provided from market. The term "Bookscan" was made with this reason. The number of bookscan company is increasing because the equipment is too expensive. However, the commercial activity of bookscan company is against copyright law. Also bookscan files are in danger of being illegally distributed on web, because bookscan companies are not protecting copyright. Publication market follows the same procedure with sound market which was collapsed due to copyright problem. Therefore, the technical methods should be prepared for law system against bookscan. The previous ICOP(Illegal Copyrights Obstruction Program) system has been applied to sound and movie files, but not applied to publication. This paper suggests the framework for bookscan file management based on practical mechanism.

  • Because of development of information technology, moving picture can run various platforms. We should consider and apply users' attitude as well as production technique because convergence between mobile and media technology may be increased full-browsing service using mobile device. Previous research related to production technique in various platforms only focus on video quality and adjustment of screen size. However, besides of technical side, production techniques should be changed such as image production as well as image editing by point of view aesthetic. Mise-en-scene such as camera angle, composition, and lighting is changed due to HD image. Also image production should be changed to a suitable full-browsing service using mobile device. Therefore, we would explore a new suitable production techniques and image editing for smart phone. To propose production techniques for smart phone, we used E-learning production system, which are transition, editing technique for suitable converting system. Such as new attempts are leading to new paradigm and establishing their position by applying characteries such as openness, timeliness to mobile. Also it can be extended individual area and established as expression and play tool.

  • In e-business, XML is a major format of data and it is essential to efficiently process queries against XML data. XML query caching has received much attention for query performance improvement. In employing XML query caching, some efficient technique of cache replacement is required. The previous techniques considered as a replacement unit either the whole query result or the path in the query result. The former is simple to employ but it is not efficient whereas the latter is more efficient and yet the size difference among the potential victims is large, and thus, efficiency of caching would be limited. In this paper, we propose a new technique where the element in the query result is are placement unit to overcome the limitations of the previous techniques. The proposed technique could enhance the cache efficiency to a great extent because it would not pick a victim whose size is too large to store a new cached item, the variance in the size of victims would be small, and the unused space of the cache storage would be small. A technique of XML semantic cache replacement is presented which is based on the replacement function that takes into account cache hit ratio, last access time, fetch time, size of XML semantic region, size of element in XML semantic region, etc. We implemented a prototype XML semantic cache system that employs the proposed technique, and conducted a detailed set of experiments over a LAN environment. The experimental results showed that our proposed technique outperformed the previous ones.

Recommendation of Best Empirical Route Based on Classification of Large Trajectory Data (대용량 경로데이터 분류에 기반한 경험적 최선 경로 추천)

  • This paper presents the implementation of a system that recommends empirical best routes based on classification of large trajectory data. As many location-based services are used, we expect the amount of location and trajectory data to become big data. Then, we believe we can extract the best empirical routes from the large trajectory repositories. Large trajectory data is clustered into similar route groups using Hadoop MapReduce framework. Clustered route groups are stored and managed by a DBMS, and thus it supports rapid response to the end-users' request. We aim to find the best routes based on collected real data, not the ideal shortest path on maps. We have implemented 1) an Android application that collects trajectories from users, 2) Apache Hadoop MapReduce program that can cluster large trajectory data, 3) a service application to query start-destination from a web server and to display the recommended routes on mobile phones. We validated our approach using real data we collected for five days and have compared the results with commercial navigation systems. Experimental results show that the empirical best route is better than routes recommended by commercial navigation systems.

  • The WAP 2.0 system is a newly proposed wireless communication system by the WAP Forum for interoperability across Internet environment and the system takes charge of communication between WAP terminals and existing origin Web servers. The purpose of this paper is 1) to construct a WAP 2.0 proxy proposed by the WAP Forum and 2) to improve the WAP Proxy in order to increase communication efficiency between wired and wireless communication objects. The Improved WAP proxy constructed in this study provides links between wired and wireless communication environments using the split-TCP concept. However, unlike the split-TCP connection, The improved WAP proxy maintains TCP's end-to-end semantics and reduces overhead by avoiding operations as much as possible on the upper protocol layer. In addition, The improved WAP proxy supports SACK(Selective Acknowledgement ) option and Timestamp option for speedy re-transmission which leads to reduction of performance degradation. After constructing the improved WAP proxy under Linux environment, experiments have been taken. The experimental results show that, compared with the experiments when a WAP proxy proposed by the WAP Forum is used, both data transmission delay time and data transmission size decrease to show that communication efficiency is increased. In particular, as packet missing ratio Increases, data transmission size decreases, which demonstrates that the improved WAP proxy is very effective for performance improvement in wireless communication environment.
