A study on the Characteristics of Electric Fire (I) (전기화재의 특성고찰 연구(I))

  • 우리나라의 화재 발생건수를 살펴보면, 1986년까지는 매년 1만건을 조금 상회하는 완만한 증가추세였으나, 1994년에는 2만건을 초과하였고, 1998년에 3만건을 넘었으며, 2007년부터는 4만건 이상으로 이제 5만 여건을 목전에 두고 있다. 특히 최근 9년간(2000-2008)의 화재발생은 연평균 36,635건, 연평균 재산피해액 190,791백만원이었으며, 전기화재의 경우, 총화재 발생건수 대비시, 1985년 34%, 1994년 39%로 계속 30%이상의 점유율을 보이다가 2006년 29.6%로 20%대로 진입하여 2007년 22.1%이며, 2008년은 총화재 발생 49,631건, 재산피해액 383,141백만원이다. 따라서 전기로 인한 화재는 22.8%인 11,308건, 재산피해액은 28%인 107,459백만원이었으며 전기화재의 최근 9년간 연평균 발생건수는 10,853건으로 매년 만 여건씩 발생하면서 59,980백만원의 재산 피해액을 나타내었는데, 전체 화재에 대한 전기화재 점유율은 약 30%를 나타내었고 재산피해액은 31.4%에 달하고 있어 아직까지도 전기화재는 화재발생원인의 1순위를 계속 점하고 있어, 이에 대한 분석과 대책이 절실히 요구되어 본 논문에서는 최근의 전기화재의 발생추이와 전기화재 특성을 고찰하여 이의예방 대책을 제시한다.

  • 위상배열초음파검사(PAUT)는 기존 초음파검사에서 획득할 수 있었던 A-scan의 결과와 달리, 관로 내부로 진입하지 않고도 부식에 의한 강관 손상 정도를 정량적인 시각적 데이터로 파악할 수 있는 검사 기술이다. 관내부 직접조사가 가능한 상수도 강관을 대상으로 직접조사와 PAUT를 비교한 결과, PAUT는 높은 정확도와 신뢰성을 보여주었다. 또한, 강관 내부의 부식검사에서는 PAUT를 적용함으로써 관체의 부식 면적, 부식 최대 깊이, 부식 위치를 넓은 범위에서 신뢰성 높은 검사 및 결과 도출이 가능하였다. 이러한 결과는 PAUT 기술이 강재 구조물의 다양한 부식 문제를 신속하게 파악하고 해결하는 데 기여할 수 있음을 의미한다. 따라서, 본 검사 기법은 상수도 관로의 강재 진단 및 점검에 있어 높은 신뢰성 및 효율성을 보여 주는 진단기법으로써 다양한 강재 시설물의 평가에 활용성이 클 것으로 판단된다. 이에 따라 PAUT는 상수도 시설물뿐만 아니라 다양한 시설물에서도 높은 활용 가능성을 가질 것으로 예상된다.

A study on the strategy of entering into the global value chain for defense SMEs (방산 중소기업의 글로벌 부품공급망 진입전략 연구)

  • Defense exports have overgrown in a short period, and items have been diversified with advanced high-end equipment, but exports have been stagnant due to the global economic recession and fierce competition. Weapons importers in the global market are diversified, volatility is higher, and global defense companies are also expanding their global value chain (GVC) By participating in the GVC of a global defense company, the defense SME can grow into a competitive company with specialized technology, rather than participating as a partner of a domestic system company. It is time to prepare an export promotion support plan. In this study, we selected five global companies with high value for the implementation of offset and general considerations on domestic SMEs' entry into the international parts supply chain and related cases, and investigated GVC entry requirements, the current status of cooperation partners, and the perceptions of GVC entry, through local surveys in Korea and overseas. Also, by considering the export target comprehensively, GVC stage, and the level of export competitiveness of domestic SMEs, strategies for promoting GVC participation of defense SMEs and improvements in government policies were derived and presented.

Supporting IP multicast RSVP over ATM (ATM 망에서의 IP 멀티캐스트 RSVP 지원 연동 방안)

  • 실시간 멀티미디어 응용의 등장으로 멀티캐스트와 QoS(Quality of Service)필수적인 망 서비스가 부각되고 있다 이에 ATM 기반의 인터넷에서 IP멀티캐스트의 효율적인 처리를 위하여 MARS(Multicast Address Resolution Server)가 제안되었고, 기존의 최선 서비스 기반의 인터넷에서 QoS(Quality of Service)를 지우너하기위하여 RSVP(Resource Reservation Protocol)가 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 ATM망에서 QoS 가 지원되는 IP 멀티캐스트 서비스를 제공하기위하여 MARS 구조에서 RSVP를 지원하는 방안을 두 가지 제안하고, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 그 성능을 분석하고자 한다. 제안하는 두 가지 방법은 각각 RSVP 전 홉 논드 방식과 MARS서버 방식이라 명명하였다. RSVP전 홉 노드 방식은 송신원으로부터 ATM 망으로 진입하는 노드와 수신원을 향하여 ATM망을 진출하는 노드 간에 각각 일대일 양방향 VC를 설정하여 멀티캐스트 그룹에 속하는 수신원들이 보내는 자원 예약 메시지를 ATM 망에서 전송하는 방안이다. MARS 서버 방식은 MARS서버가 RSVP자원 예약 메시지를 처리하도록 그 기능을 확장함으로써 ATM 망의 제어 VC를 절약할 수 있는 방안이다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여, RSVP흐름의 휴지기간이 짧으면 RSVP전 홉 노드방식이 VC해제율이 낮아져 병목 현상으로 인한 큐잉 지연에 크게 영향을 받고 있는 MARS방식보다 유리함을 볼 수 있었고 RSVP 흐름의 휴지기간이 길 때는 병목 현상이 완화된 MARS방식이 VC설정 지연 단점이 부각된 RSVP 전 홉 노드 방식보다 유리함을 볼 수 있었다.

  • Coming to 21st century, the dangerous causes which threaten for safety of citizen's life is increasing. The national importance of facilitates which is dealing by special security officers are becoming target for enemy or terrorist. Therefore, securities in Korea are developing strongly. This study investigates for status and problem of the special security and aim to suggest the plan for development. The development of special security connects to the development of private security industry, the improvement of work environment for special security officers who are working in this ares, securing of man's ability, reality of salary, introduction of professional qualification system, reorganization of education system and the search system for preparing terror need to improve.

  • Currently, the global climate change response paradigm has been changed to a universal response system in which all nations, not the developed countries, participate. Korea has also set a target of 25.9 million tons of transportation greenhouse gas reduction targets by 2030. Korean society is expected to enter the super aging society in 2026. In this study, to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions in public transport and to improve the convenience of transportation vulnerable, we estimate the willingness to pay(WTP) and social benefits assuming that the existing feeder buses are replaced with medium-sized low floor electric buses. To this end, survey was conducted on bus users in the metropolitan area and WTP was estimated by using contingent valuation method(CVM), which is one of the non-market value evaluation methods. As a result of estimation of WTP, the average WTP is 51.4 (won / time person), estimated the economic benefits were 50 million won on weekdays and 40 million won on weekends in Gyeonggi Province in 2014.

Economic Impact of City-Gas Industry by the Expansion of Natural Gas Use in Power Generation (발전부문 천연가스 사용 확대에 따른 도시가스 산업의 경제적 파급효과 분석)

  • Recently, power mix of Korea is planned to be changed from coal-fired and nuclear to gas-combined and renewables by the energy policy of new government. This change will also affect city-gas industry. This paper analyze the economic impact of city-gas industry by scenario that switching coal-fired and nuclear power generation into gas-combined and fuel cell. 2030 input-output table is estimated to take the transfer period into account. As results, the induced impact by city-gas industry to the others was negative when switching into gas-combined while that was positive when switching into fuel cell. This results imply that the gas-fired can be a feasible alternative for short-run but fuel cell is more helpful for our economy in long-run.

  • The purpose of this study is to deduce a successful business model of fintech and suggest the business model component in fintech on domestics. Business model has suggested on a strategic levels but it is to a value of corporation. From literature research, we find a conceptual character and its component of business model. The results show that we understand the business model of fintech. We suggest business model of component for a successful entry of market. These results suggest business model canvas by Alexander Osterwalder. This business model consist of 9 blocks - customer segmentation, value proposition, customer relationship, key resource, key activity, key partnership, revenue stream, and cost structure. These components need an analytic approach for a successful entry and settlement of market. Also, we analyze and suggest a fintech business model and directivity of its components.

A MAC Protocol Based on Adaptive Timeout for Energy Efficient Wireless Sensor Networks (에너지 효율적인 무선 센서 네트워크를 위한 적응형 Timeout 기반 MAC 프로토콜)

  • In wireless sensor networks, each node generally uses a battery because it is hard to replace or charge. For this reason, study for life time prolongation of each node within the limited energy source has become an important issue. So many ways are suggested to minimize the energy consumption for each node, especially energy efficient MAC protocols have been studied actively. T-MAC of contention based MAC protocol is that added the adaptability on fixed duty cycle of S-MAC. T-MAC allocates the fixed timeout before each node goes to sleep mode from active mode. If no data exchanged in a timeout, each node goes to sleep mode. Because of the timeout is always fixed, the absence of data exchange in a timeout will cause unnecessary energy consumption. In this paper, in order to improve the energy efficiency, we propose a MAC protocol based on adaptive timeout that analyze the probability of the timeout, and provides the modified timeout.
