Cutting Force Models in Circular Milling Processes (원호 가공에 대한 절삭력 모델)

  • Circular milling operations are used to enlarge die and cylinder bores, and machine airframe pockets. In this case, cutting force varies as cutting tool position relative to workpiece. This paper presents a mechanistic model of geometric uncut chip thickness by predicting time varying cutter-part intersection as the cutter travels along the circular path. Compared with experimental results, the suggested cutting force model shows a good agreement.

  • The disk cam mechanism cam produce a positive motion with a relatively few components. In the present paper a shape design of cam using the relative velocity method and the machining information analysis using the circular interpolation are introduced. In the first part of the paper a machining information at each point using the circular interpolation is taken. This study purposes the analysis method of the cutting error due to the moving path of the cutter, so that we can lead to the optimum design in a disk cam mechanism..

  • The domestic airline industry undertakes the production of finished products by assembling existing self-described components via a design process which involves assembly and production steps, after which many of the finished products are exported. However, high reliability and stability must be guaranteed, because customers require high-precision components at the time of manufacturing. In the aircraft parts industry, the mass production of high-value-added parts is limited. Therefore, a small production scale depending on the part is used, as many types of conventional CNC lathe machines with X-axis and Z-axis as well as Z-axis and C-axis CNC milling are used. The parts also rely on high-pressure air to increase production. The most important factors are good stability during processing, as high-precision parts are required, as noted above. It was found that as the C-axis rotation speed increased, the diameter of the cutting tool decreased with a decrease in the surface roughness, while the workpiece rotation speed increased with an increase in the surface roughness.

  • A composite gear with involute-circular are tooth profile and a tooth profile of the rack to cut this gear are theoretictically obtained. The composite gear has involute tooth profile in the vicinity of pitch point and has circular arc tooth profiles at addendum adn dedendum. The contact ratio(M$_{c}$), chordal tooth thickness (chordal tip tooth thickness S$_{t}$, chordal root tooth thickness S$_{t}$) of the composite gear are compared with those of involute gear. When module, number of teeth and pressure angle eqaul, S$_{t}$ of composite gear is much larger than that of involute gear. Under the same conditions, S/sib t/ and M$_{c}$ of composite gear become smaller than those of involute gear.lute gear.

  • Acetate fibers, such as diacetate and triacetate, were treated with ozone gas under atmospheric pressure and at a pressure of 40g/m3 and 100g/m3. The effect of the ozone-gas treatment was investigated on the basis of ESCA, FT-IR, x-ray diffraction, moisture regain, water absorption, and dyeing properties. The ozone-gas treatment caused an increase in the oxygen content of each fiber.

  • 금형가공에서 사용되는 밀링머신의 가공시 공구와 피삭재의 접합면에서는 절삭가공의 잔유물인버(Burr)가 생성되고, 이러한 버는 작업효?ㅘ 정밀도를 감소시키며 후처리과정(Deburring)을 야기시키는 원인이 된다. 그러므로 정밀도와 작업효율을 극대화하기 위해서는 이러한 버의 생성원리를 파악함과 동시에 Exit 버 판별을 하여 최적의 가공조건을 맞추어 주어야 하는데, 이에 밀링가공을 통해 생성되는 버의 형태와 Exit 각 등을 파악, 알고리즘으로 개발하여 좀 더 효율적인 가공조건을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구는 이제까지 개발된 실제 가공에서 사용되는 임의형상의 데이터를 통해 점, 선, 원 및 원호(Arc)에 이르는 형상을 인식하는 Exit 버 판별시스템을 소개하고자 한다. 아울러 실제 가공과 더욱 유사한 환경을 만들기 위해 단일 경로에서부터 다중경로에 이르는 복합적인 환경 구현은 물론 점과 선으로 이루어진 도형과 원(구멍)형태의 피삭재 환경을 통합, 두 가지 다른 형태의 환경이 복합적으로 존재할 경우의 Data를 인식하고 아울러 다양한 방향성을 가진 선으로 이루어진 형상에 이르기까지의 다양한 피석재 Data를 구현하고, 입력된 절삭조건을 해석하여 임의형상을 가진 다양한피삭재에서의 단일 및 다중 가공 경로 상에서 발생될 버를 해석하고 최소화 및 최적 절삭가공공정을 찾아 작업 효율성을 극대화하는 목적의 해석 알고리즘을 Windows 프로그램으로 구현하고자 한다.
