Prediction of tillage Workability by Cone Index (원추지수를 이용한 경운 정지 작업의 작업성 예측)

  • This study was conducted to recognize a possibility that cone index can be used as a means of evaluating the tillage workability. Cone indexes were measured every 24 hours after rainfall at the experimental plots, and the rotary and plowing operations were conducted at the same time. The workability was evaluated on a basis of three categories of good, fair and poor depending on the quality of the performed works. Although the workability was affected by many factors such as soil type, moisture content ground slope and weather condition, the duration and amount of rainfall were of most influence. Results of the study showed that a good workability was resulted from the cone indexes greater than an average of 552 kPa for rotary operations and 671 kPa for plowing operations. Fair work was obtained with cone indexes greater than an average of 331 kPa for rotary operations and 459 kPa for plowing operations. The cone indexes less than an average of 171 kPa and 149 kPa resulted in poor workabilities for rotary and plowing operations, respectively. The experimental results may provide a general guideline for evaluating the tillage workability by cone index.

Development and Application of Cone Penetrometer with Impact Penetration Rod for Evaluation of Track Substructure (철도궤도 하부구조물 평가를 위한 타격식 관입 롯드가 체결된 콘 관입기의 개발 및 적용)

  • To minimize the cost of maintenance, repair and over-design of track substructure, an accurate evaluation of strength and stiffness of the track substructure is necessary. In this study, a cone penetrometer with impact penetration rod (CPI) is developed for the evaluation of track substructure. For applicability test, the chamber and field tests were performed. As the experimental results of the CPI, dynamic cone penetration endex (DCPI), cone tip resistance ($q_c$), friction resistance ($f_s$) and friction ratio (Fr) were obtained. In the chamber test, the experimental results show reasonable values for the simulated track substructure. In the field test, the CPI clearly detects the interface between the ballast and the subgrade. Also, discontinuous layers are detected in the subgrade. It is expected that the developed CPI may be an effective tool for the evaluation of track substructure by evaluating the ballast layer by dynamic penetration and the subgrade by static penetration of the inner rod.

Prediction of Optimum Capacity for Tractor Drawn Liquid Manure Tank Spreader by Computer Simulation (컴퓨터 모의시험에 의한 트랙터견인형 액상가축분뇨 살포기의 적정용량 예측)

  • A computer simulation was carried out to investigate the optimum capacity of liquid manure tank spreader which is used as a tractor attachment. Soil physical properties, such as soil moisture content, bulk density, soil hardness and soil types were measured in the 10 major rice production area for computer simulation. Mathematical model which include soil physical properties and vehicle factor was used for computer simulation. Most of the soil type of the investigated area was sandy clay loam. Soil moisture content ranged between 30 and 40% mostly. Soil bulk density was in the range of 1,500 to 1,700 kg/$m^3$. Soil hardness ranged between 1 to 18 $cm^2$. Soil hardness incorporate the effects of many soil physical properties such as soil moisture content, soil type and soil bulk density, and so the range of soil hardness is greater than any other physical properties. The capacity of liquid manure tank spreader was above 3,000 kg$_{f}$ for the most of the investigated areas, and mostly in the range of 4,000 to 6,000 $kg_f$ depending upon the slip. But for the soft soil area such as Andong and Asan, the tractor itself has mobility problem and shows no pulling force for some places. For this area, the capacity of liquid manure tank spreader ranged between 1,000 and 2,000 $kg_f$ mostly, so the capacity of liquid manure tank spreader should be designed as a small capacity trailer compared to the other area.mpared to the other area.

Real Time Prediction of Rating Cone Index using Measured Wheel Sinkage and Slip (차륜 슬립과 침하를 이용한 실시간 정격 원추 지수 예측)

  • It has been known from Willoughby's empirical equation that rating cone index can be determined if wheel sinkage and slip of a vehicle can be measured on soil surface. A field data of wheel sinkage and slip was collected from two tractors of different sizes on gravelly sand and gravelly loamy sand. Using the data, rating cone index of the soil was estimated. The estimated rating cone index demonstrated that it could be determined in real time by measuring wheel sinkage and slip. It was also demonstrated statistically that the same soil strength could be obtained under the same soil conditions regardless of the vehicle platforms used for the wheel sinkage and slip measurements.

Effect of the Cone Index on the Work Load of the Agricultural Tractor (원추 지수가 트랙터 작업 부하에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the soil cone index (CI) on the tractor work load. A load measurement system was constructed for measuring the field data. The field sites were divided into grids (3×3 m), and the cone index was measured at the center of each grid. The work load measured through the plow tillage was matched with the soil cone index. The matched data were grouped at 600 kPa intervals based on the cone index. The work load according to the cone index was analyzed for engine, axle, and traction load, respectively. The results showed that when the cone index increased, engine torque decreased by up to 9%, and the engine rotational speed and brake-specific fuel consumption increased by up to 5% and 3%, respectively. As the cone index increased, the traction and tillage depth were inversely proportional to the cone index, decreasing 7% and 18%, respectively and the traction and tillage depth were directly proportional to the cone index, increasing 13% and 12%, respectively. Thus, it was found that the cone index had a major influence on the engine, axle, and traction loads of the tractor.

  • 본 연구는 로타리 작업에 따른 105마력급 농업용 트랙터의 소요동력을 분석하기 위하여 수행되었다. 소요동력 측정 시스템은 차축 토크미터, PTO 토크미터, 주/보조 유압센서, 데이터 수집장치를 이용하여 구성하였다. 시험에 사용된 트랙터는 동양물산 105 HP급 트랙터 (S07, TYM, Korea)이며, 작업기는 로타베이터 (SW 230GL, Sungwoo Industrial Co. Ltd, Korea)를 사용하였다. 포장시험은 전라북도 부안군에 죽림길에 위치한 $4,000m^2$ ($100m{\times}40m$) 크기의 경작지 2곳에서 수행하였다. 포장시험 시 작업 단수는 주행단수 L3단 (2.38 km/h)에서 PTO 단수 1단 (540 rpm)과 2단 (750 rpm)으로 설정하였고, 로타리 작업 시 경심은 13 cm 조건에서 실시하였다. 트랙터 작업은 동양물산의 성능시험 업무를 맡고 있는 숙련된 작업자가 숙달된 방법으로 수행하였다. 포장시험지의 토양환경은 임의의 15곳에서 채취한 시료를 이용하여 토성, 함수율, 원추 관입지수에 대하여 미국 농무부 (USDA)법을 기준으로 분석하였다. 토양환경 분석 결과 토성은 Sandy loam (사양토), 평균 함수율은 35.15%, 평균 원추관입지수는 1,562 kPa로 나타났다. PTO 1단 작업 시 트랙터의 평균 소요동력은 차축, PTO, 주 유압, 보조 유압에 대하여 각각 1.8, 54.0, 1.3, 그리고 1.1 hp로 나타났다. PTO 2단 작업 시 트랙터의 평균 소요동력은 차축, PTO, 주 유압, 보조 유압에 대하여 각각 1.2, 79.4, 1.2, 그리고 1.0 hp로 나타났다. PTO 1단 작업 시 소요동력의 합은 58.2 hp로, 정격 마력 (105 hp) 대비 55.43 % 사용한 것으로 나타났으며, PTO 2단 작업 시 소요동력의 합은 82.8 hp로, 정격 마력 대비 78.85% 사용한 것으로 나타났다. PTO 1단 대비 2단에서는 PTO를 제외한 차축, 주 유압, 보조 유압의 소요동력이 감소하였으나, PTO에서 약 1.47배로 크게 증가하여 전체적으로 소요동력이 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 향후 다양한 작업기 및 작업 단수에 따른 소요동력을 분석하여 농업용 트랙터의 모든 부하 조건에 대한 데이터베이스 구축에 관한 연구를 수행할 예정이다.

동해안 참가자미, Limanda herzensteini의 생식주기

  • 참가자미, Limanda herzensteini는 가자미목 (Pleuronectiformes), 가자미과 (Pleuronectidae)에 속하며, 우리나라의 동해, 일본의 세토내해 이북, 중국 및 사할린 근해에 분포하는 어종이다. 본 종은 연안정착성 어종으로 동해안에서 낚시 및 저인망 어업에 의해 어획되는 산업적 가치가 큰 고급어종이며, 저수온에 강하여 한류성 해역에서의 양식 가능성이 매우 높다고 할 수 있다. 또한 최근에는 참가자미의 자원량 감소가 두드러지고 있으므로 자원증강이 절실히 요구된다. 이 연구에서는 주 어획지역인 강원도 주문진 인근해역에서 1998년 9월부터 1999년 10월까지 자연산 참가자미의 연간 생식소중량지수의 변화를 조사 하였으며, 조직학적 조사에 의한 생식소 발달과정과 생식주기를 밝혔다. 정소는 정소엽 형태이며, 각각의 정소엽은 여러개의 소낭구조를 가진다. 각 소낭내의 생식세포들은 같은 단계의 발달상태를 보인다. 난소는 원추형의 낭상으로 체강벽에서 연결되는 난소간막에 의해 부착되어 있으며, 내부는 결체성 조직인 다수의 난소박판으로 구성되며, 이곳에서 난원세포가 유래한다. 수컷의 GSI는 1월에 가장 높았으며, 암컷의 GSI는 3월에 가장 높은 값을 보였다. 생식주기는 성장기(6~9월), 성숙기(10~12월), 완숙 및 산란기(1~3월) 그리고 회복 및 휴지기(4~5월)로 나눌 수 있었다. 난모세포의 발달양식은 난군동기발달형에 속하였다.
