Estimation of Willingness to Pay (WTP) of the Cost of Safe Transportation for Freight Cars Using the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) (조건부가치측정법(CVM)을 이용한 일반형 화물자동차 안전운송원가 지불의사(WTP) 추정)

  • With the goal of eradicating overwork, overload, and speeding of general freight cars(cargo) by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Infrastructure and Transport, the "The Fare of safe transportation for freight cars System" has been enforced since 2020. 'The Fare of safe transportation for freight cars' rate for each item is being applied and supplemented, but the 'The Cost of safe transportation for freight cars' of general freight cars (cargo) and steel items is under discussion. The purpose of this study was to estimate the willingness to pay( WTP) for cargo. A survey was conducted on shippers, transportation companies (arrangers, carriers), and cargo drivers (using direct questioning among contingent valuation method (CVM) and the Tobit Regression analysis was conducted, and the average and median values of freight rates were derived using the estimated results, and the willingness to pay by tonnage of freight cars was confirmed. It is expected that the results of this study can be used as a reference to the "The Fare of safe transportation for freight cars Committee" an organization for deliberation and resolution of the 'The Cost of safe transportation for freight cars'.

  • Intellectual property rights play a key role in employment creation and income generation plays an important role, especially in the creative economy. Many companies are ultimately increasing efforts to boost the company's financial performance, such as maximizing profits by building a strong brand assets amid committed to brand management in this paradigm. Reasonable evaluation and commercialization of technology transactions, financial assistance, investment decisions, trademark brand value for the reactivation (revitalizing) for the purposes of M & A, litigation, brand strategy will be said to be very important. In spite of the importance, the awareness of the property and the capabilities to assess are hardly sufficient. Thus, this study, targeting companies with valid trademarks for value assessment, conducted case analysis by cost method and income approach; the analysis presented the result from 2.05 million by the cost method to 2.7 million by the income approach applied to a variable discount rate and adjustment contribution. However, now that the implication was drawn from a single company, further studies covering case study and application plan according to scale and type of diverse company groups should be continued.

The Factors Affecting the Profitability of Oriental Medicine Hospital of University in Korea (대학부속 한방병원의 수익성 영향요인 연구)

  • In this study, the factors affecting the profitability of the oriental medicine hospitals of University to be analyzed. To do this, profitability indicators and current ratio, liquidity, turnover ratio, cost factors analysis and suggested ways to improve management. The results are as follows, the operating margin(1.17%). the return on assets(3.76%), the net profit to gross revenues(2.37%), and the net profit to total assets(-1.89) were lower than the average of the entire oriental medicine hospitals in Korea(respectively 8.9%, 8.7%, 2.6%, 2.5%). Current ratio(256.76%), quick ratio(231.17%), fixed ratio(121.02%), and total assets turnover(135.69%) were similar to the average of all oriental medicine hospitals in Korea. But growth rate of total assets(-2.21%), and growth rate of patient revenue(1.89%) is low. And salaries(53.39%), materials costs(16.62%), administrative expenses(28.58%) were different to the average of all oriental medicine hospitals in Korea(respectively 35.3%, 10.7%, 45.1%). Meanwhile, the cost ratio of the oriental medicine hospitals of University was 98.59%. It was 7.49% higher than the 91.1% of the average of all oriental medicine hospitals in 2011. Correlation analysis, growth rate of patient revenue and operating margin increased at the same time, and net profit to gross revenues and net profit to total assets with a growth rate of total assets increased. And administrative expenses and profitability indicators showed a negative correlation. It means, in order to improve the profitability of the oriental medicine hospitals of University should focus on reducing administrative expenses. Multiple regression analysis, growth rate of total assets, total assets turnover, administrative expenses, and salaries has affected the profitability. Therefore, in order to improve the profitability of the oriental medicine hospitals of University to increase the total capital and the total capital turnover, and to reduce administrative expenses effort.

The Method of improving efficiency of crystalline silicon solar cell with the thin wafer (Thin wafer를 이용한 결정질 실리콘 태양전지의 효율개선 방안)

  • 결정질 실리콘 태양전지의 원가에서 Wafer는 60~70%의 매우 높은 비중을 차지하고 있다. 많은 연구들이 원가 절감을 위하여 Wafer의 두께를 감소시키는 것에 집중하고 있다. 그러나 Wafer 두께의 감소는 태양전지의 효율 감소와 공정 진행 중에 파손율이 상승하는 등의 문제가 발생한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 결정질 태양전지 구조 중에서 24.7% 이상의 최고 변환 효율을 갖는 PERL(Passivated Emitter, Rear Locally diffuse) 구조를 대상으로 wafer 두께 감소에 따른 변환 효율 감소의 원인과 해결 방안을 제시하고자 한다. Simulation으로 확인한 결과 370 um 두께의 wafer에서 24.2 %의 효율은 50 um 두께의 wafer에서는 20.8 %로 감소함을 확인할 수 있었다. 얇아진 wafer에서 감소한 효율을 개선하기 위하여 후면 recombination velocity, 후면 fixed charge density, 후면 산화막 두께 등을 다양화하여, 각각의 경우에 대한 cell의 효율 변화를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 후면 recombination velocity, 후면 fixed charge density, 후면 산화막 두께를 최적화 하여, 각각 2.8 %p, 1.5 %p, 2.8 %p의 효율 개선 효과를 얻었다. 위 세 가지 효과를 동시에 적용하면 50 um wafer에서 370 um wafer 효율의 결과와 근접한 24.2 %의 효율을 얻을 수 있었다. 향후에는 위의 결과를 바탕으로 실제 실험을 통하여 확인할 계획이다.

A Door Frame for Wind Turbine Towers Using Open-Die Forging and Ring-Rolling Method (열간자유단조와 링롤링공법을 이용한 풍력발전기용 도아프레임 개발)

  • The mechanical components for wind turbines are mainly manufactured using open-die forging. This research introduces an advanced forging method to produce the door frame of the tubular wind turbine tower. The advantages of this new forging method are an increase in the raw material utilization ratio and a reduction in energy cost. In the conventional method, the door frame is hot forged with a hydraulic press and amounts of material are machined out because of the shape difference between the forged and final machine products. The proposed forging method is composed of hot forging and ring rolling processes to increase the material utilization ratio. The effectiveness of this new forging method is deeply related to the ring rolled blank dimension before the final forging. To get the optimal ring rolled blank, forged shape prediction using the finite element analysis method was applied. The forged dimensions produced by the new forging method were verified through the first article production.

Comparative studies for the performance of a natural gas steam reforming in a membrane reactor (분리막 반응기를 이용한 천연가스 개질반응의 성능에 관한 비교 분석)

  • For a natural gas steam reforming, comparative studies of the performance in a conventional packed-bed reactor and a membrane reactor, a new conceptual reactor consisting of a reactor with series of hydrogen separation membranes, have been performed. Based on experimental kinetics reported by Xu and Froment, a process simulation model was developed with Aspen $HYSYS^{(R)}$, a commercial process simulator, and effects of various operating conditions like temperature, $H_2$ permeance, and Ar sweep gas flow rate on the performance in a membrane reactor were investigated in terms of reactant conversion and $H_2$ yield enhancement showing improved $H_2$ yield and methane conversion in a membrane reactor. In addition, a preliminary cost estimation focusing on natural gas consumption to supply heat required for the system was carried out and feasibility of possible cost savings in a membrane reactor was assessed with a cost saving of 10.94% in a membrane reactor.

  • The issue of global warming and environmental pollutant has become an international concern due to the widespread use of fossil fuels, and thus waste heat recovery technologies has become important to improve energy utilization. The global market of power generation system using industrial waste heat is rapidly growing at an average rate of 5% due to its advantage of increasing energy efficiency. In order to design an optimal waste heat recovery system, it is necessary to develop a program that offers economic evaluation of each power generating technology according to the heat source conditions. In this paper, the economic analysis module to calculate LCOE is developed and verified the reliability against NETL economic analysis results. As a result of the verification, the error rate is about 6 ~ 7%, which satisfy the accuracy for business feasibility evaluation. In order to enhance the reliability, the module was improved by applying the levelization method used by NETL. As a result of the verification of reliability, the error rate is less than 1% and the accuracy is improved.

  • 환경규제 강화와 화석연료에 대한 대안으로 신/재생에너지에 대한 관심이 고조 되고 있다. 그 중 하나인 풍력발전은 각국마다 풍황 조건과 정책에 의해 다양한 시장을 만들어 내고 있다. 본 연구는 해상풍력발전시스템의 투자 전망에 대하여 기존의 재무적 평가기법에 학습곡선효과를 가미하는 방법론을 제시하고자 하였다. NPV 등의 가치 평가기법이 할인된 현금흐름 분석을 하는 것이라면 이에 더하여 현금의 유출에 있어서 학습율을 반영한 원가를 반영하는 것이 제시하고자 하는 연구 방법론의 핵심이다. 해상풍력발전을 투자자 입장에서 모의 해본 결과 국내 풍력발전은 80% 학습율 수준 정도의 혁신적 개선 없이는 투자 타당성을 찾기 어려우며 이러한 현실적인 문제점을 정책적으로 보완해야 할 수 있는 것이 발전가격을 중심으로 하는 정부의 지원제도임을 제시 하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is price determination for KLIS (Korea Land Information System) which Korea government established. For this purpose, I analyzed cost accounting and made the KLIS selling price according to selling amount, recovery rate and information volume. In case of recovery rate, the cost was expensive but, in case of information volume the cost was cheap. So, the price determination for KLIS should be resonable according to information volume considering GIS revitalization.

  • 매년 전력사용량은 증가하고 있으나 발전 공급량은 수요의 증가분을 따라가기는 힘들다. 수요관리(DSM)는 소비자의 전기사용 패턴을 합리적인 방향으로 유도함으로써 부하율 향상을 통한 원가절감과 전력수급 안정에 기여한다. 국내의 전력산업 특성상 DSM은 규제에 의한 DSM이었다. 규제된 DSM 덕택으로 부하율 향상과 에너지이용효율향상을 위한 수요관리 프로그램을 전력회사는 꾸준히 추진해 왔다. 그러나 전력산업의 구조개편후 규제가 완화되면서 전력회사는 수지 타산에 맞는 DSM만 선호하게 될 것이다. 전력회사의 이익에 맞지않는 DSM은 구조개편후 경제원리에 의해 사라져야만 하는가? 비록 전력회사에게는 이익이되지 않지만 사회적으로는 많은 편익을 주는 DSM 프로그램도 상당수 있다. 이 논문에서는 그러한 프로그램의 대표적인 예제라 할 수 있는 고효율 유도전동기에 대해서 DSM프로그램의 각 참여자 입장에서 비용효과적인지를 분석하였다. 그리고 구조개편후 이러한 DSM프로그램이 어떻게 유지되어야 타당한지를 밝히려 한다. 효과분석에서 사용되어지는 소프트웨어 패키지로는 미국의 EPRI연구소에서 개발한 DSManager를 사용하였다.
