Understanding User Acceptability Towards to Robo Taxi Based on Value Based Adoption Model (가치기반수용모델 기반의 로보택시 사용자 수용성 분석)

  • This study explores the factors which affect user acceptance for Robo Taxi, an electricity-based Autonomous Vehicles based on a Value based Adoption Model. The three main factors of benefit (usefulness and enjoyment), sacrifice (technicality and perceived fee level), and user experience about mobility services such as car sharing, taxi, and autonomous vehicles, were finally selected as independent variables as a influential factors on perceived values and adoption intention of Robo taxi. The study found that usefulness, enjoyment, and perceived fee had a significant effects on adoption intention, and some user experiences had a significant effect on benefit factors. This study has important implications for incorporating the Value-based Adoption Model results into the service design for the activation of Robo taxi, and furthermore, they can provide a theoretical basis for effective use of the research findings.

A Single Allocation Hub Network Design Model for Intermodal Freight Transportation (단일할당 복합운송 허브 네트워크 설계 모형 개발)

  • Intermodal freight transportation is defined as the movement of freight from origins to destinations by two or more transportation modes. When implemented in hub networks, it could enhance the efficiency of the networks because consolidated flows are transported by more suitable modes and technologies. In spite of this advantage, the intermodal hub network design problem has received limited attention in the literature partly because of the complex nature of the problem. This paper aims to develop an optimization model for designing intermodal hub networks with sin91e allocation strategy. The model takes into account various cost components of intermodal hub networks including transportation, stationary inventory, and service delay costs. Moreover, using transport frequency variables, it is capable of endogenously determining the transportation economies of scale achieved by consolidation of flows. As such, the model is able to realistically represent the characteristics of intermodal hub networks in practice. Since the model Is a complicated nonlinear integer programming problem, we perform model simplification based on the analytical study of the model, which could facilitate the development of solution algorithms in the future. We expect that this study contributes to the design of intermodal hub networks as well as to the assessment of existing logistics systems.

A Study on the Socio-economic Direct Effects of the Opening of the Gyeongbu Expressway for 50 Years (경부고속도로 개통 50년의 사회경제적 직접효과 평가 연구)

  • This study quantitatively derived the direct socio-economic effects of the Gyeongbu Expressway, which opened in 1970, and suggested a methodological approach for more reliable results. The scenario was set when the Gyeongbu Expressway was not constructed in 1970, the opening of the Gyeongbu Expressway was delayed by 10 years, and the toll road between Seoul and Daejeon, or between Seoul and Gangneung was opened instead of the Gyeongbu Expressway as suggested by the World Bank. In addition, direct benefits were estimated by calculating and comparing the current vehicle operating costs, travel time costs, traffic accident costs, and environmental pollution costs. As a result, it was estimated that about 351 trillion won in direct benefits occurred, and it can be seen that the promotion of the construction project of the Gyeongbu Expressway at that time had a huge impact on South Korea's social economy.

  • In the second part of the paper, a design strategy for an apartment complex constructed at a railway depot is proposed for vibration reduction purposes. Various design parameters such as the vehicle operating speeds, artificial land behavior, housing support structure, and apartment sub-structures are individually examined to reduce the transmission of vibrations through building structures. Building construction on an artificial land should be subjected to regulations that require the application of a vibration reduction scheme based on the mechanics that govern the vibration transmission phenomena. The implementation of these parameters at an early design stage will provide a quiet living environment for residents who may be exposed to excessive noise and vibration.

  • 최근 텔레매틱스 분야에서 GPS 수신기를 장착한 probe car를 통해 교통 정보를 수집하는 방법에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이 방법은 기존에 교통 정보를 수집하기 위해 활용되고 있던 고정식 검지기들에 비해 수집되는 정보가 높은 신뢰성을 가지고, 도로 환경에 민감하지 않으며, 낮은 유지비용으로 운용할 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 하지만, probe car는 자신의 위치 정보를 교통 정보 센터로 전송해 주어야 하기 때문에 프라이버시가 노출될 수 있고, 주차되어 있는 시간에는 통행 정보를 보내줄 수가 없다. 이런 이유로 대중 교통차량이나 상업용 차량이 주로 probe car로 활용되어지게 되는데, 그 수가 많지 않을뿐더러 운행 구간이 고르게 분포되지 않아 probe car가 지나지 않는 구간, 즉 교통 정보 누락 구간이 존재할 수 있는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 교통 정보 누락 구간의 처리를 위해 과거의 이력 정보로 대체하는 방법, 주변 도로의 구간 정보로 예측하는 방법, 회귀 분석을 통한 예측 방법 등을 기술하고 실제 probe car들로 수집된 서울시 강남대로 구간의 자료로 각 방법에 대한 실험을 실시하여 각각의 방법에 대한 결과를 비교 분석한다.

  • 본 논문은 조선소에서 계획기간동안 각 플랜트의 생산일정에 따른 블록의 모든 수송요구량이 미리 알려져 있는 정적인(static) 수송환경을 고려한 트랜스포터 일정계획문제를 다룬다. 조선소 내에서 블록들의 수송은 몇 가지 특성을 가진다. 500톤을 초과하는 거대 블록들은 2대 이상이 결합된 새로운 형태의 트랜스포터를 이용하여 운반된다. 운반이 요구되는 블록들 중 일부는 계획기간동안 규정된 출발요구시각에 pick-up되기를 요구하는 반면 나머지 블록들은 계획기간동안 규정된 도착요구시각 전에 delivery되기를 요구한다. 이러한 트랜스포터의 결합 및 시간 제약은 문제를 더욱 복잡하게 하는 요인이 된다. 본 논문에서는 계획기간 내에 모든 블록운반 요구사항들(출발지와 도착지, pick-up과 delivery 시각, 톤수, 결선 등)을 만족시키는 트랜스포터 일정계획문제를 다룬다. 트랜스포터 일정계획문제에서 중요한 주제는 총 로지스틱스 시간 (공차운행시간, delay 시간 및 tardy 시간)을 최소화하기 위해 계획기간 내에 최소의 트랜스포터 운영대수로 각 트랜스포터에 어떤 블록을 할당하고 어떤 순서로 운반할 것인 지를 결정하는 것이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 주어진 트랜스포터 일정계획문제를 해결하기 위해, 1단계에서 최소비용 네트워크 흐름문제를 근간으로 트랜스포터의 최소사용대수를 구하고 이를 기초로 2단계에서 각 트랜스포터에의 블록 할당과 운반순서를 결정하는 2단계 휴리스틱 알고리즘을 제안한다.

  • To reduce the cost and time of transport in Eurasian railroad networks such as TKR, TCR and TSR owing to the problem of different track gauges (narrow/standard/broad gauge), it is important to develop the gauge-adjustable wheelset system to adapt easily to these gauges. Moreover, freight trains having the gauge-adjustable wheelsets should be passing various curved tracks in railroad networks. Therefore, to assure the safety of the gauge-adjustment whellset system, it is necessary to evaluate integrity of locking parts in the system using stress analysis. This study is focused on analyzing contact stress of locking parts by using FEA(finite element analysis) simulation during the gauge changeover operation and freight trains' service in the curved track, respectively.

Wave information retrieval algorithm based on iterative refinement (반복적 보정에 의한 파랑정보 추출 기법)

  • Ocean wave parameters are important for safety and efficiency of operation and routing of marine traffic. In this paper, by using X-band marine radar, we try to develop an effective algorithm for collecting ocean surface information such as current velocity, wave parameters. Specifically, by exploiting iterative refinement flow instead of using fixed control schemes, an effective algorithm is designed in such a way that it can not only compute efficiently the optimized current velocity but also introduce new cost function in an optimized way. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is very effective in retrieving the wave information compared to the conventional algorithms.

  • Forklift trucks are frequently used in logistics warehouses and factories to transport large amounts of cargo. Among the recent accidents at industrial sites, the number of accidents caused by forklifts was the highest. Most accidents are caused by being hit or caught by forklifts. Various safety devices are being applied to prevent forklift accidents. This paper analyzes the efficiency of introducing a smart control method to prevent industrial accidents that may occur in the operation of forklifts. The smart control method generates an amount of money for initial introduction, but if subsidies are secured through government-supported projects, the burden on the workplace will be reduced. When a smart control method is introduced, it is possible to prevent collisions between workers and forklifts and accidents of trapped forklifts.

Analysis on Efficiency of Hierarchical Structure for a Grid Transit Network (격자형 대중교통 노선망의 위계구조 효율성 분석)

  • This study analyzed whether a transit network with hierarchy is efficient or not, and if transit network hierarchy has cost efficiency, then which condition guarantees the efficiency of the transit network hierarchy. The authors modeled the total cost of the transit network and suggested the conditions in which the transit network hierarchy has cost efficiency through comparing the cost of the transit network with and without hierarchy. The efficiency of transit network hierarchy is guaranteed when the travel cost savings induced by using a higher hierarchy transit network is larger than the increasing non-travel cost, which is the sum of access cost, waiting cost, and operating cost, induced by the introduction of a higher hierarchy transit network. This result is consistent with common sense and with the concept of cost and benefit analysis. If a passenger traveling within the area divided by a higher hierarchy transit network uses only a lower hierarchy transit network and the passenger traveling out of the area divided by the higher hierarchy transit network uses both lower and higher hierarchy transit networks, the travel demand using the higher hierarchy transit network is inversely proportional to the square of the line spacing. This means that the transit network becomes more efficient and small increases of travel demand guarantee the efficiency of the transit network hierarchy as the connectivity of the network becomes higher. This result shows that transit networks have economies of aggregation. This study is the first analytical research on transit network hierarchy and is expected to be a basis for numerical research. However, numerical research should complement this study, since analytical research has some limitations for considering a real network.
