퍼지 추론과 개선된 퍼지 RBF 네트워크를 이용한 컨테이너 식별자 인식

  • 일반적으로 운송 컨테이너의 식별자들은 크기나 위치가 정형화되어 있지 않고 외부 잡음으로 인하여 식별자의 형태가 변형될 수 있기 때문에 일정한 규칙으로 찾기는 힘들다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 특성을 고려하여 컨테이너 영상에 대해 Canny 마스크를 이용하여 에지를 검출하고, 검출된 에지 정보에서 영상획득 시 외부 광원에 의해 수직으로 길게 발생하는 잡음들을 퍼지추론 방법을 적용하여 제거한 후에 수직 블록과 수평 블록을 검출하여 컨테이너의 식별자 영역을 추출하고 이진화 한다. 이진화된 식별자 영역에 대해 검정색의 빈도수를 이용하여 흰바탕과 민바탕을 구분하고 윤곽선 추적 알고리즘을 적용하여 개별 식별자를 추출한다. 추출된 개별 식별자의 인식은 개선된 퍼지 RBF 네트워크를 제안하여 적용한다. 제안된 퍼지 RBF 네트워크는 퍼지 C-Means 알고리즘을 중간층으로 적용하고 중간층과 출력층 간의 학습에는 일반화된 델타 학습 방법과 Delta-bar-Delta 알고리즘을 적용하여 학습 성능을 개선한다. 실제 컨테이너 영상을 대상으로 실험한 결과, 기존의 식별자 추출 방법보다 제안된 식별자 추출 방법이 개선되었고 기존의 퍼지 RBF 네트워크 보다 제안된 퍼지 RBF 네트워크가 컨테이너 식별자의 학습 및 인식에 우수함을 확인하였다.

  • IED와 상위운영시스템(정보연계장치 포함)으로 구성되는 디지털변전소의 변전자동화시스템은 계측/제어/보호/감시 등 모든 변전소의 정보의 흐름이 국제규격 IEC 61850 기반으로 네트워크 통신을 통해 이루어지는 시스템이다. 따라서 기존 제어케어블 사용시 변전소에서 신호 전달의 정확성을 위해 측정하였던 전기적 신호에 대한 점검을 대신하여, 디지털변전소의 데이터를 운송하는 혈관의 역할을 수행하는 네트워크 통신에 대한 건전성을 확인할 필요가 있다.

An Analysis of the Cost Structure of Air Transport Industry(Deriving Economies of Density, Scale and Scope) (항공운송산업의 비용구조 분석(밀도, 규모 및 범위의 경제성 도출을 중심으로))

  • This paper annually estimates the economies of density, scale and scope with the data of cost and output of 27 leading air carriers to suggest the political findings and strategies of raising the cost efficiency of our air transport industry. The estimation results and their implications are as follows. First, KAL and Aha would reduce their cost if they could increase international route density. Second, KAL and AAR would reduce their cost if they could expand the network but save their cost more effectively if they could increase international route density rather than expand the network. Third, the minimum efficient scale that minimize average cost of two national flag carriers which operate by the present output ratio among domestic passenger, international passenger and freight appears to be larger than each present output level of KAL and AAR. Meanwhile, it appears that minimum efficient scale of small size low cost carriers which operate domestic-oriented route is much smaller than minimum efficient scale of national flag carriers. Finally, it appears that there exists the diseconomies of scope between domestic passenger and the other outputs, that is, international passenger and freight and therefore save their cost if freight output ratio is higher and domestic passenger output ratio is lower than the Present level.

  • The objective of this study is to develop a supply chain-based freight distribution channel choice model considering shippers' logistics behaviors which will be used for freight demand estimation. For this purpose, this study utilized the distribution channel data of the petrochemical and automobile industries collected by KTDB center. The distribution channel choice models for these industries were developed by including transport mode, time, cost, and shipment size. It was found that the multinomial logit model with transport cost, time and shipment size is the best, and as shipment increases, bigger transport mode is preferred. Generally direct distribution channel with small truck was preferred over the one using distribution center and/or big truck.

  • In order to identify the factor and effect of shippers' inland transportation decision in North China and the Republic of Korea, the determinants of shipping liners, shippers and forwarders when selecting ports were extracted through previous studies and then analyzed using factor analysis and Fuzzy-AHP. As a result of analyzing the importance between groups, it can be found that while logistics costs at port and accessibility to hinterland are the most important factors for shipping liners, shippers and forwarders. Transportation cost by feeder is the most important sub factors for shipping liners. Inland transportation cost is the most important sub factors for shippers and forwarders. Through this study, it was recognized that one of the biggest concerns of shippers was reduction of inland transportation cost In addition, it was confirmed that the main factor of shifting the decision of the port selection from the shipping liners to the shipper is the reduction of inland transportation cost.

Development and Promotion of International Intermodal Transportation Route from Northeast 3 Provinces in China (중국 동북3성 기점 국제복합운송루트 개발과 발전 방안)

  • With rapid economic development in China, cargoes from and to China are growing significantly. The 3 Northeast Provinces of China(named Liaoniang, Jilin, Heilongjiang provinces), bordering the Korean Peninsular, is not exception in development of international trade. However long distance from the 3 Northeast Provinces to seaports generates huge transit time and costs because Dalian port is far away almost 1,000km from Jilin and Heiloongjiang Provinces. The new intermodal transport route through the port of Jarubino located in the Russian Far East is under way to reduce the costs incurred from inland transport. This paper investigates the competitiveness of the new international intermodal transport route from the 3 Northeast Provinces in terms of transit time and transport costs. According to the results of this research, The establishment of the new international intermodal transport with development of Jarubino port is expected to increase the competitiveness of trade cargoes from the 3 Northeast Provinces while Korea has a good opportunity to join the port development in the Russian Far East. Futhermore the port of Busan is also benefited the growing transit cargoes from the new intermodal transport route.

Multiobjective Routing and Scheduling for Vehicles Transporting Hazardous Materials (위험물 운송차량의 다목적 경로 및 스케줄 관리 방안)

  • Vehicles transporting hazardous materials can make huge damage to people, properties and environment by traffic accidents. Therefore, transporting hazardous materials is a big issue with the cutting edge technology of communications in these days. However, despite this situation, Korean government gives limited efforts for systematic management, research and investment about hazardous materials. Accordingly, this research suggests the key path finding algorithm about management of real-time schedule and routes for vehicles transporting hazardous materials. Besides, the case study is progressed in transportation networks of Seoul in order to evaluate the reality of algorithm. Specifically, time-space network transformation is performed for time window attributes. In addition, this study proposes the techniques searching for non-dominated paths considering schedule by the multiobjective shortest path algorithm based on dynamic programming in dynamic transportation networks including multiobjective attributes.

  • As container traffic is increasing, the introduction of mega-vessel has had a significant impact on the ports and terminals business. This movement of container shipping has led to intensely competitive environment among ports, so substantial pressures to develop new container ports or to expand existing ones, have been grown. However, it requires a huge investment, especially cost and time, to overcome environmental, geographical and financial restrictions generated from developing a port. This study addressed the Mobile Harbor, the new concept of marine logistics system as an alternative strategy. We performed an economic analysis on the introduction of the Mobile Harbor in coastal transport sector and also a sensitivity analysis to examine the effects of changing factors related on the economic evaluation. We have examined the value and application of Mobile Harbor as a preliminary study, which may contribute to further studies on the Mobile Harbor.

  • Since the 17th century, international trade has increased as a result of the development in the navigation skills. Recently, maritime transport, compared to other modes, is used more than 70% worldwide by shippers and ports, and it also has become essential in international trade. Most researchers focused only on port development, in topics like ensuring depth of water, port competition and port governance, but have left some topics undone, such as environment, ecosystem and balanced development. Therefore, this study provides insight to the academic world in port research using SNA (Social Network Analysis). The result of the SNA study shows that Baltic Sea ports researchers have focused on "Shipping", "Marine ecosystem"and "Pollution". The implications of this study are: first, the environment has become a main issue in the research field; second, the results suggest focusing on the main keywords from the keyword network. This study has some limitations such as excluding domestic journals and focusing in the recent 10 years.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the new strategies for West coast ports, especially Mokpo Port development. This paper also analyzes the recently evolving change of shipping environment such as upsizing of vessels, horizontal and vertical integration strategies in the liner shipping industries through the mergers and acquisitions or strategic alliances, establishment of dedicated terminal and surging bunker charge. With shipping environment is rapidly changing, we examine how to cope with the current situation and suggest the solutions how to tackle shippers' and shipping companies' request. As a result of an empirical study, we found out that Mokpo Port suffers from the shortage of container cargo, container imbalance, insufficient forwarders and inland trucking service providers and hinterland transportation network system. With these obstacles settled, the number of container cargo can be induced to Mokpo Port and the regular container services between Mokpo and Chinese ports and Japanese ports loops were found to be competitive.
