  • 지금까지 회전운동을 선형운동으로 만들기 위해 많은 연구가 되어 실제장치의 특허는 1980년대부터 볼 수 있으나 분명한 이론적 근거가 없었다. 회전운동을 선형운동으로 만들기 위한 방법 중 한 가지를 소개한다. 회전중심의 팔에 관성질량이 달려 있으면 회전중심으로 회전 중 각 가속도를 강제로 제어발생시 작용 반작용에 의해서 관성질량에 순간 질량중심이 발생한다. 그 결과 계 전체의 질량중심에 순간회전 변위가 발생한다. 계의 질량중심의 회전변위를 한 방향이 되도록 각가속도를 적절히 제어하면 선형 선형적인 펄스 운동을 얻을 수 있다. 기존 실제 장치들의 운동특성을 참조하여 회전중심 과 순간질량 중심 및 계의 질량중심 관계의 모델을 세우고 수식 및 이론을 정의하여 해석한다.

Optimization of ejector for swirl flow using CFD (CFD를 이용한 회전 운동을 하는 이젝터의 최적화)

  • This paper investigates the effect of the rotational motion of a driving fluid generated by a rotational motion device at the inlet of a driving nozzle for a gas-liquid ejector, which is the main device used for ozonated ship ballast water treatment. An experimental apparatus was constructed to study the pressure and suction flow rate of each port of the ejector according to the back pressure. Experimental data were acquired for the ejector without rotational motion. Based on the data, a finite element model was then developed. The rotational motion of the driving fluid could improve the suction efficiency of the ejector based on the CFD model. Based on the CFD results, structure optimization was performed for the internal shape of the rotation induction device to increase the suction flow rate of the ejector, which was performed using the kriging technique and a metamodel. The optimized rotation induction device improved the ejector efficiency by about 3% compared to an ejector without rotational motion of the driving fluid.

  • The onset characteristics of friction-induced noise for a steel plate and 4 metallic pins (Cu, Ni, Al, Mg) were studied through the pin-on-disk machine and the reciprocating testing machine. The results showed that the negative slope of the friction curve was related to the onset time of friction noise. Particularly, Cu was found to be the best metallic material for preventing squeak noise in terms of the onset time and the negative friction slope.

  • 본 연구에서는 측정자가 시간과 노력을 소비하면서 3차원 연쇄기구의 공간운 동을 유추적으로 측정한 현재까지의 실험측정을 지양하고, 국내에서 구입 가능하고 염 가인 Apple II와 같은 같은 마이크로 컴퓨터 또는 마이크로프로세서를 이용, 3차원 연 쇄기구의 공간운동을 신속하고 정확하게 측정분석하는 자동 실험장치를 설계 제작한 다음, 이 장치를 일반 3차원 연쇄기구 모델에 적용 측정된 결과를 기호방정식을 이용 한 일반 연쇄기구 운동식의 이론 결과와 비교 검토하였다.

  • Laser Inertial Navigation System(LINS) consists of Ring Laser Gyroscopes(RLG) and accelerometers. RLG has a lock-in region in which there is zero output for input angular rates less than 0.1deg/sec. The lock-in region is generated by the imperfect mirrors in RLG. To avoid the lock-in region, sinusoidal motion which is called dither motion is applied on RLG. Therefore without the fault in LINS, the dither motion must be measured by RLG/accelerometer. In this paper, we propose the method to detect the fault of LINS through checking out whether or not the dither motion is always measured by RLG/accelerometer using the Fast Fourier Transformation(FFT) on the real time. The feasibility of the fault detection method proposed in this paper is verified through the stationary and van test.

  • 그래픽 처리 장치(GPU: Graphic Processing Units)는 그래픽 처리에 특화된 수많은 산술논리연산자 (ALU: Arithmetic Logic Unit)와 이에 관련된 인스트럭션Instruction)으로 인해 중앙 처리 장치(CPU: Central Processing Units) 보다 훨씬 빠른 계산 처리를 수행할 수 있다. 최근에는 FORTRAN에 의해 구현된 많은 수치모형들이 현실적인 모델링 방법의 발달로 인해 더 많은 계산량과 계산시간을 필요로 한다. 이 연구에서는 GPU 상의 범용 계산GPGPU : General-Purpose computing on Graphics Processing Units) 기반 운동파 강우유출모형(Kinematic Wave Rainfall-Runoff Model)이 CUDA(Compute Unified Device Architecture) FORTRAN을 사용하여 구현되었다. CUDA FORTRAN 운동파 강우유출모형의 계산 결과는 검증된 CPU 기반 운동파 강우유출모형의 계산 결과와 비교하여 검증되었으며, 잘 일치함을 보여 주었다. CUDA FORTRAN 운동파 강우유출모형은 CPU 기반 모형에 비해 약 20 배 더 빠른 계산 시간을 보였다. 또한 계산 영역이 커짐에 따라 CPU 버전에 비해 CUDA FORTRAN 버전의 계산 효율이 향상되었다.

A Test Bench with Six Degrees of Freedom of Motion For Development of Small Quadrotor Drones (소형 쿼드로터 드론 개발을 위한 6 자유도 운동 실험 장치)

  • A new test bench for small multi-rotor type drones has been developed. Six degrees of freedom (DOF) motion is possible due to a ball bushing, wheels, and rotating plates. An FPGA (field programmable gate array) based controller, that supports realtime parallel processing, is used to measure attitude with an accelerometer and a gyro to adjust motor speed. Several tests were performed to check the operational properties of the test bench and the controller. The results show that this test bench is proper for verifying controllers and the control methods of small multi-rotor drones.

  • This study provides the finite-element (FE) squeal-model predicting friction-induced noise with respect to several friction materials that have different friction characteristics. The friction curve and the corresponding friction noise were measured for four friction materials (Cu, Ni, Al, Mg) using the pin-on-disk and reciprocating friction system. The slope of the friction curve linearized at the sliding velocity was applied to the FE model. The unstable modes in the complex eigenvalue analysis were shown to correspond to the squeal frequencies that existed in the experiment.

  • This study was conducted to examine the effects of the lumbar stabilization exercise (LSE) on fall prevention in elderly females (n = 21) by measuring changes in the isometric strength, multifidus, transverse abdominis muscle thickness, and posture stability index. The strength of isometric contraction was measured by the 3-D Pegasus system ; the thickness of the multifidus and transverse abdominis were measured by using Sonoace 6000C, and the posture stability index was measured using a computerized Biodex Balance System SD apparatus analysis. These results lead us to the conclusion that flexion and extension, left rotation on strength of isometric contraction, and thickness of the transverse abdominis (when released) statically increased. Overall, the anterior/posterior and medial/lateral elements in the posture stability index statically decreased, Consequently, the LSE should the prevent falls in elderly females.

A Study on the Reduction of Organ Motion from Respiration (호흡 운동에 의한 내부 장기의 움직임 감소에 관한 연구)

  • To deal with tumor motion from respiration is one of the important issues for the advanced treatment techniques, such as the intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), the image guided radiation therapy (IGRT), the three dimensional conformal therapy (3D-CRT) and the Cyber Knife. Studies including the active breath control (ABC) and the gated radiation therapy have been reported. Authors have developed the device for reducing the respiration effects and the diaphragm motions with this device were observed to determined the effectiveness of the device. The device consists of four belts to immobilize diaphragm motion and the vacuum cushion. Diaphragm motions without and with device were monitored fluoroscopically. Diaphragm motion ranges were found to be 1.14 ~ 3.14 cm (average 2.14 cm) without the device and 0.72~1.95 cm (average 1.16 cm) with the device. The motion ranges were decreased 20 ~ 68.4% (average 44.9%.) However, the respiration cycle was increased from 4.4 seconds to 3.7 seconds. The CTV-PTV margin could be decreased significantly with the device developed in this study, which may be applied to the treatments of the tumor sited diaphragm region.
