Equivalent Damping Ratio of a SDOF Structure Combined with Coulomb and Viscous Damping (점성 및 마찰감쇠가 있는 단자유도 구조물의 등가감쇠비)

  • 본 논문에서는 점성 및 감쇠가 있는 단자유도 구조물의 등가감쇠비를 효율적으로 구하는 방법을 제시하였다. 건물에 설치된 마찰감쇠기는 외력의 크기에 따라 정지와 운동의 상태를 반복하여 외부 입력에너지를 소산시키기 때문에 외력과 응답관계가 비선형이다. 마찰감쇠기가 설치된 단자유도 건물은 마찰감쇠기외에 점성감쇠가 동시에 존재하므로 해석적인 정해를 구하기가 어렵다. 등가감쇠비를 산정하기 위해서 첫째, 점성과 마찰감쇠가 있는 단자유도계 건물의 자유진동 정해를 통하여 변위응답과 가속도 응답특성을 분석하였다. 둘째, 자유진동의 경우 응답이 멈출 때까지 소산에너지식을 이용하여 등가점성감쇠비를 구하였다. 셋째, 조화가진 일 때는 수치해석을 통하여 마찰력비 $F_r$에 따른 응답 특성을 알아보았다. 넷째, 조화가진의 경우 에너지 균형식을 바탕으로 등가점성감쇠비를 유도하였다. 등가점성감쇠비는 변위응답비의 영향을 받으므로 응답을 알아야만 구할 수 있다. 건물 응답의 진동수 특성은 협소영역(narrow band)이므로 고유진동수에 의해 지배된다고 가정하여 등가점성감쇠비를 구하였다. 마지막으로, 유도한 자유진동과 조화가진의 등 가점성감쇠비를 이용한 등가선형운동방정식의 해를 비선형 수치해석 한 결과와 비교하여 검증하였다.

Dynamic Response Analysis of Baffled Fuel-Storage Tank in Turnaround Motion (선회운동에 따른 배플형 연료탱크의 동응답 해석)

  • Dynamic response of baffled fuel-storage tank in turnaround motion is simulated using the ALE finite element method. Fuel-storage tank undergoes abrupt impact load caused by inertia force of internal fuel in turnaround motion. Also, large dynamic force and moment caused by this load influence structural stability and control system. In this paper, ring-type baffles are adopted to suppress the dynamic influence. Through the parametric analysis with respect to the baffle number and location, the effects of baffle on the dynamic response of baffled fuel-storage tank is analyzed. The ALE finite element method is adopted for the accurate and effective simulation of the hydrodynamic interaction between fluid and structure.

Approximate Analysis of Shock Response for Ship Hull Girder (선체거더 충격응답의 근사해석)

  • The structural response of naval surface ships subjected to underwater shock loadings is a very important problem in viewpoint ship survivability. In practice, among others the case of noncontact underwater explosions is the only one shock loading considered in designing naval surface ships to resist underwater explosions. In orator to efficiently design naval surface ships and their equipment to resist such shock loadings it seems necessary to prepare theoretical analysis tools and/or empirical design criteria which can predict the three dimensional transmission of shock waves. This paper describes a simplified method to analyse shock responses for ship hull girder, which uses a loading function to approximate the shock loadings on ship structures due to noncontact underwater explosions. A couple of examples to apply this method are provided.

  • 본 연구에서는 경부고속철도의 주요 교량형식인 PSC 박스교량을 3차원 뼈대요소를 사용하여 모형화하였으며, 궤도불규칙성의 형상은 지수 스펙트럴 밀도함수를 사용하여 생성시켰다. 경부고속철도차량(K-TGV)중 동력차는 17자유도의 3차원 주행열차로 모형화하였고, 이러한 교량, 궤도불규칙성 및 차량 모형을 이용하여 교량과 차량의 상호작용을 해석할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하였다. 동적해석을 위한 교량과 차량의 운동방정식은 Lagrange 방정식을 사용하여 유도하였으며, 운동방정식의 수치해석에는 Newmark-β법을 사용하였다. 개발된 프로그램을 이용하여 동력차의 주행에 의한 교량의 시간이력곡선을 구하였으며, 궤도불규칙성의 영향을 분석하였다. 또한 도상의 유무에 따른 교량동적거동의 특성과 함께 열하중의 편심의 영향도 분석하였다.

  • Based upon the derived analytical model and equation of motion for the general rotor system with anisotropic stator and asymmetric rotor treated as a periodically time-varying system, the series of equations are structured by associating with the time modulated coefficients. The frequency response functions (FRFs) expressed by physical parameters are derived in such a convenient way from the direct inverse matrices of the Fourier transformation of those series of equations, from which the characteristics are analyzed and the properties are suggested.

Analysis on the Dynamic Responses of Fishing Vessels in a Seaway (파랑중 어선의 동력학 해석)

  • Ships in a seaway will encounter dangerous situation, such as slamming, stranding, and capsizing. The number of capsizing is small, but the loss due to them is very large from the viewpoint of human life, property, and the environmental pollution. The number of capsizing of fishing vessels is about 62% of total number of capsizing, and the half of them is originated from the operational mistake in a seaway. So the dynamics and the capsizing phenomena are to be studied, and the guide for the safe operation of a fishing vessel in a seaway are to be specified. The hydrodynamic forces consist of radiation forces (which are due to the motion of a ship), Froude-Krylov forces (which is due to the incoming waves), and diffraction forces (which is due to the wave and ship interaction). These forces are calculated by well-known strip method. Using the calculated forces, the motion of a ship in a regular sea is obtained. In the real seaway, the waves are very irregular, therefore the statistical analysis is very helpful. In this paper, using the results of the motion in a regular seaway and the wave spectrum, the motion in a irregular seaway are obtained and analyzed.

Analysis of Characteristics of Horizontal Response Spectrum of Velocity Ground Motions from 5 Macro Earthquakes (5개 중규모 지진의 속도 관측자료를 이용한 수평 응답스펙트럼 특성 분석)

  • The velocity horizontal response spectra using the observed ground motions from the recent 5 macro earthquakes, equal to or larger than 4.8 in magnitude, around Korean Peninsula were analysed and then were compared to the acceleration horizontal response spectra, seismic design response spectra (Reg Guide 1.60), applied to the domestic nuclear power plants, and finally the Korean Standard Design Response Spectrum for general structures and buildings. 102 velocity horizontal ground motions, including NS and EW components, were used for velocity horizontal response spectra and then normalized with respect to the peak velocity value of each ground motion. First, the results showed that velocity horizontal response spectra have larger values at the range of medium natural period, but acceleration horizontal response spectra have larger values at the range of short natural periods. Secondly, the results also showed that velocity horizontal response spectra exceed Reg. Guide 1.60 for longer natural periods bands less than 6-7 Hz. Finally, the results were also compared to the Korean Standard Response Spectrum for the 3 different soil types(SC, SD, and SE soil type) and showed that velocity horizontal response spectra revealed much higher values for the frequency bands below 1.5(SC), 2.0(SD), and 3.0(SE) seconds, respectively, than the Korean Standard Response Spectrum. The results suggest that the fact that acceleration, velocity, and displacement horizontal response spectra have larger values at the range of short, medium, and long natural periods, respectively, can be applied consistently to those form domestic ground motion, especially, the velocity ground motion. Information on response spectrum at such medium range periods can be very important since the domestic design of buildings and structures emphasizes recently medium and long natural periods than short one due to increased super high-rise buildings.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the attraction of physical educators by physical education major students at university on their passion and exercise adherence intention. Total of 307, physical education major students at university. Data ware analyzed by exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression with SPSS 18.0 ver. program. The results were as following. First, attraction of physical educators influenced significantly on their passion. Second, attraction of physical educators influenced significantly on exercise adherence intention. Third, passion influenced significantly on exercise adherence intention.

  • Parametric study on submerged body shape of an oscillating hemisphere point absorber was conducted to predict the optimal relation between radius and draft of the body. As an additional damping due to power takeoff system, the optimal damping same as wave radiation damping was applied to the PTO system to produce the maximum wave power. Body response spectrum and power spectrum were obtained for various peak frequencies on wave spectra. It was found that the maximum power can be generated when the peak frequency of available wave power was 20% greater than that of wave spectrum.

  • This study is to investigate the effect of Chinese university track and field athletes on their athletic commitment and performance. The men and women aged 19 or older were selected as a population for athletes from Hanam University, Jeongju University, and Hanam Normal University, and 1400 questionnaires were distributed using the Convenience sampling method. The results obtained by performing data processing are as follows. First, all factors had a statistically significant effect on performance in the effect of sub-factors of exercise commitment (cognitive commitment, behavioral commitment). Second, all factors had a statistically significant effect on the performance of the sub-factors of exercise commitment (cognitive commitment, behavioral commitment). Third, all factors had a statistically significant effect on the effect of sub-factors of exercise commitment (cognitive commitment, behavioral commitment) on concentration.
