소청용탕으로 호전된 천식을 동반하는 만성부비동염 2례 (Two Cases of Chronic Sinusitis with Asthma Improved by Socheongryong-tang)

  • Two cases of chronic sinusitis with asthma were treated by Socheongryong-tang for 8 weeks in Respiratory System Division, Department of Internal Medicine of Kyunghee Oriental Medical Center. Socheongryong-tang is herbal decoction that has been used as the traditional therapeutic agent for asthma. The author has observed two cases of chronic sinusitis with asthma. Treatment with Socheongryong-tang for 8 weeks didn't result in significant change in the symptoms of asthma, but chronic sinusitis improved without any side effects. This study suggests that Socheongryong-tang is an effective herbal decoction in the treatment of chronic sinusitis. Obviously, further research concerning this is still necessary.

인청동의 내마모성에 관한 연구

  • 현재 엘리베이터용 worm gear의 wheel로써 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 것은 인청동이다. 일반적으로 청동에 인의 함량이 0.05% - 0.5% 정도 잔류하는 인청동은 용탕의 유동성이 좋아지고, 합금의 강도, 경도가 증가하며 내마모성, 탄성이 증가한다. 또한 P는 극소량 Cu 중에 고용하나 그 외에는 경하고 취약한 $Cu_3P$상으로 존재하고, P의 함유에 따라 Sn의 고용도가 저하하므로 주조 조직중에 $\delta$상($Cu_{31}Sn_8$)이 증가하여 Sn을 증가한 때와 같이 경도가 커지는 효과가 있다. 이같이 기지상 중에 간단한 3원 공정부 ($\alpha + \delta + Cu_3P$)상이 산재하여 있어 이것이 마찰상대면을 지탱하여 내마모 역할을 하기 때문에 인청동이 내마모 재료로써 많이 쓰이고 있는 것이다.

유도전동기 브라켓 제작시 품질평가 (Quality Evaluations of Induction Motors Bracket Castings during Fabrication Processes)

  • 본 연구는 중형 유도전동기 신제품 개발 단계에서 브라켓 주조품 제작시 발생하는 품질문제를 미리 평가하기 위하여 수행한 것으로, 브라켓 주조품의 제작과정인 주조 및 기계가공시 용탕 충진 양상, 결함 발생, 잔류응력 및 변형 등 제품의 품질상태를 수치해석적인 방법을 사용하여 평가하였다. 평가 결과 최종 기계가공 후 브라켓 주조품에 발생하는 잔류응력은 -53~54MPa, 변형량은 최대 1.8mm로 크지 않으며 내부 품질관리 기준에 부합함을 알 수 있었다.

  • Introduction : Pneumonia is an inflammation of alveolus and pneumal parenchyma and it is one of common pediatric diseases. According to, pneumonia belongs to the Haesu(咳嗽), Chunsik(喘息), Phechng(肺脹), Pungon(風溫). Purpose : The purpose of this study is to find out whether Socheongryongtanggamibang has any effects on children with pneumonia. Method : The subjects are in regard to children with pneumonia who visited Dae Jeon Oriental Medicine Hospital from December 2002 to April 2003. The herbal medicine therapy are applied for one week. Result and Conclusion : After treatment, the symptoms (coughing, rhinorrhea, sputum, fever) of pneumonia were improved. More studies about the Oriental Medicine treatment and conception on pneumonia are needed.

Al 합금용탕(合金熔湯)의 $C_2C_{l6}$정제(錠劑)-탈(脫)가스에 의한 Mg의 손실(損失) (A Study on the Mg-Loss of Al-Alloy Melt by $C_2C_{l6}$-Tablet Degassing)

  • The Mg-loss of AlSi 7% melts containing from 0 to 0.8% Mg during the Hexachloroethane tablet degassing was investigated. The results of the experiment was discussed in view of the free energy change and kinetics of $MgCl_2$ formation. The melts with Mg content less than 0.5% showed a Mg-loss proportional to Mg-content, while it was constant at about 24% of the weight of tablets, when Mg content of the melt became more than 0.5 %. The rate of Mg-loss was drastically reduced, when the amount of tablets used at a time increased ver a certain limit for a given melt quantity.

용탕단조에 있어서의 열전달 해석 (Computer Analysis of Heat Transfer in Squeeze Casting)

  • A basic heat flow model has been developed to estimate the heat transfer coefficient at the casting/mold interface during squeeze casting. Based on the measured temperature profiles in squeeze casting of Al-4.5%Si alloy, heat transfer coefficients which vary with time were calculated by numerical method. The influences of the load and the amount of fraction solid on the heat transfer coefficient have also been studied. Using the calculated heat transfer coefficient two dimensional solidification analysis in the squeeze casting process was carried out by the finite difference method, and the results were in good agreement with the experiments. It may be concluded that heat flow analysis in the squeeze casting process with accurate heat transfer coefficient at the casting /mold interface is important for a proper design of cooling in die and finally for improving productivity and die life as well.

고규소 구상흑연주철의 기계적 성질 및 미세조직에 미치는 단면 크기 및 용탕 유지의 영향 (Effects of Section Size and Melt Holding on the Mechanical Properties and Microstructure of High Silicon Ductile Cast Iron)

  • The effects of section size and melt holding time on the mechanical properties and microstructure of high silicon ductile cast iron were investigated. The strength, elongation and hardness of the test specimen with smaller cross-section were higher than those with larger one. The nodule count and volume fraction of pearlite of the former were higher than those of the latter. The mechanical properties decreased with increased melt holding time before pouring. Nodularity and nodule count decreased and the volume fraction of pearlite rather slightly increased with it.

『상한론(傷寒論)』 변병진단체계(辨病診斷體系)에 근거하여 소청용탕(小靑龍湯) 투여 후 호전된 한포진 1례 (A Case Report of Dyshidrotic Eczema treated by Socheongryong-tang based on shanghanlun Provisions)

  • Objective : This study reports the effect of Socheongryong-tang on Dyshidrotic Eczema. Methods : This is a case report on a patient who has been suffering from Dyshidrotic Eczema. According to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions, Socheongryong-tang was provided for 30 days. The severity of Dyshidrotic Eczema was evaluated by VAS and pictures. Results : When analyzing the patient's history and symptoms, it can be found in article No. 40 in Shanghanlun. The area and intensity of Dyshidrotic Eczema were reduced when viewed photos findings, so diagnosis and therapies showed valid results in Dyshidrotic Eczema. Conclusions : Socheongryong-tang is efficient to patient of this case report as a treatment.

전자기교반에 의한 연속주조빌렛트제조 (Fabrication of a billet in the continuous casting process by means of a electromagnetic stirring)

  • 일반적으로 압출용 빌렛트제조에는 빌렛트상하의 품질변화로 수평연속주조법이 사용되지 않고 있지만 전자기교반법을 이용할 경우 이러한 단점이 없어진다. 따라서 전자기교반장치를 설치한 수평연속주조장치를 이용하여 연주빌렛트를 제조하였다. 최대자속밀도가 1000Gauss 인 전자기교반장치를 설계 제작하였으며, 간접냉각방식의 흑연몰드에서 알루미늄합금을 사용하여 건전한 연주빌렛트를 제조할 수 있는 여러 공정조건을 조사 검토하여 직경 70mm의 기포가 없고 표면이 미려한 등축정을 가진 연주빌렛트를 제조하였다. 인출속도에 따른 수평 연속주조 빌렛트의 표면, 용탕유동라인 및 조직을 검토한 결과 평균인출속도 20mm/min에서 40mm/min까지 아주 미려한 표면특성을 가졌으며, 인출속도가 빠르면 유동라인이 표면에서 중심 쪽으로 완만한 기울기를 가지게 되어 표면응고층이 얇아져 빌렛트가 고액계면에서 끊어지게 되며, 조직미세화는 인출속도가 클수록 미세화되었으나, 결정구상화정도는 인출속도가 빠를수록 악화되었다.

  • Permalloys were successfully fabricated by melt drag casting in the present study, and their variation of microstructure and consequent magnetic properties were investigated as a function of Si contents and annealing temperature. The increases in Si content and annealing temperature resulted in the increases of grain size and amount of $FeNi_3$ ordered phase. Both the grain size and $FeNi_3$ ordered phase controlled by Si and annealing temperature had a important role on permeability of permalloys.
