초유폭약속에 에어튜브(Air Tubes) 발파방법의 진동 및 폭음 연구 (A Study on the Ground Vibration and Sound Level from Air Tubes Blasting using ANFO)

  • 현재 발파의 수행은 채석, 채굴 및 지하철과 도로, 건축, 토목공사 등 다양한 분야에 적용되고 있다. 이에 따라 발파특성의 연구와 관련하여 다양한 이론이 도출되고 있고 사용되지만 발파에 의한 공해인 진동 및 소음의 문제가 대두되면서 또한 이들의 취약점을 보완하기 위해 다양한 공법들이 시행되고 개선되어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 발파공법과 Air tubes를 이용한 발파공법을 비교하므로 화약의 사용량을 보다 감소시키고, 기존 전색의 길이를 줄이므로 폭약의 투사면적을 증대시켜 진동 및 폭음을 감소시키고 상대적으로 양호한 파쇄입도를 얻고 상부의 대괴를 최소화하는데 목적이 있다. 따라서 발생하는 진동 및 발파폭음을 크게 감소시킬 수 있으므로 기존 노천발파 및 진동, 소음에 민감한 도심지 발파에서 그 이점을 활용하여 보다 안전적이고 경제적인 발파작업을 수행하는데 연구의 목적이 있다.

건설경기 동향과 화약류 생산량의 상관관계에 관한 연구 (A Study ell the Correlation between a Trend in Construction Market and Explosives Production)

  • 국내의 화약사에 관한 연구는 확립되지 않은 상태이며 언제부터 화약이 사용되었는지는 불확실하다. 그러나 현대산업사회가 본격화 되면서 화약류 사용은 급격히 증가되기 시작하였다고 볼 수 있다. 화약류는 세계적으로 개발에 대부분 광업 분야에 주로 이용되었으나, 국내 건설산업이 크게 발달하면서부터 광업 분야보다 건설 분야에 많이 이용되어지고 있다 건설 분야 중에서도 토목, 시멘트, 골재생산에 다량의 폭약사용이 증가되어 왔다고 생각되어지나 건설분야의 자료들이나 화약류 생산에 대한 1990년 이전 자료들이 거의 없어 건설, 광업 및 화약류 생산의 상관관계의 추이를 연구하는 것이 거의 불가능하다. 따라서 최근 10년간 자료를 통해 분석한 결과, 폭약량의 사용은 국내 타경제의 경기변화에 영향을 받지 않고 꾸준히 생산량이 증가였고 특히 1997년 IMF 외환위기 이듬해에 국내경기가 급격히 침체 하였음에도 화약류의 생산을 전반적으로 증가함을 보였다.

알루미나 쌍결정에서 조성변화에 의한 Zigzag Migration (Chemically Induced Zigzag Migration in Alumina Bicrystals)

  • The effect of grain boundary structure on zigzag migrtion has been studied. Five kinds of a(2110)-m(1010) diffusion couples with different twist angles by 30$^{\circ}$from a [0001] common direction of each plane were prepared. When chromia (Cr2O3) was added to the diffusion couples by a vapor phase, zigzag migration of the grain boundary occurred. The fraction of zigzag migration did not essentially vary with the twist angle, but the magnitude and migration distance of individual migrating segment varied. The variation of CIGM morphology thus appears to result from the change in grain boundary mobility due to microscopic deviation of grain boundary structure out of a macroscopic grain boundary orientation.

공극 변류기의 2차 전류 보상 (Compensation for the Secondary Current of an Air-gapped Current Transformer)

  • An air-gapped current transformer(CT) has been used to reduce a remanent flux in the core, particularly in the case of auto-reclosure. However, it causes larger transient, ratio and phase errors than the iron-cored CT because of the small magnetizing inductance. This paper proposes a compensation algorithm for the secondary current of the air-gapped CT during the fault conditions including auto-reclosure as well as in the steady-state. The core flux is calculated from the measured secondary current of the CT and inserted into the hysteresis loop to estimate the exciting current. Finally, the correct current is estimated by adding the measured secondary current to the estimated exciting current. Various test results clearly indicate that the proposed compensating algorithm can improve the accuracy of the air-gapped CT significantly and reduce the required core cross-section of the air-gapped CT significantly.

  • An iron-cored voltage transformer(VT) is usually used to obtain the standard low voltage signal for protection and measurement. Generally, the iron-cored transformers have errors due to the hysteresis characteristics of the iron-core. An error compensating algorithm for iron-cored instrument transformer can improve the accuracy of conventional voltage transformers. This paper describes the iron-cored electronic voltage transformer having the error compensating algorithm. The innovative product composes an iron-cored VT and an intelligent electronic device(IED) having the error compensating algorithm. The test results of the iron-cored electronic voltage transformers in Korea Electro-technology Research Institute(KERI) are presented.

  • Generally, an iron-cored instrument transformer has differences between the primary current and the secondary current transformer due to the hysteresis characteristics of the core. The errors of the instrument transformer can be removed by using a compensating algorithm. This paper describes the iron-cored electronic zero-phase current transformer(EZCT) having a compensating algorithm that removes the effects of the hysteresis characteristics of the iron-core. This product composes an iron-cored ZCT and an intelligent electronic device(IED) ported the compensating algorithm. The test results shows that the innovative new product can improve the performance of the conventional ZCT.

  • The problem of phase change from liquid to solid in the inviscid plane-stagnation flow is theoretically investigated. The solution at the initial stage of freezing is obtained by expanding it in powers of time, and the final equilibrium state is determined from the steady-state governing equations. The transient solution is dependent on the three dimensionless parameters, but the equilibrium state is determined by one parameter of (temperature ratio/conductivity ratio). The effect of the fluid flow on the growth rate of the solid in the pure conduction problem can be clearly seen from the solution of the initial stage and the final equilibrium state. The characteristics of the transient heat transfer at the surface of the solid and the liquid side of the solid-liquid interface for all the dimensionless parameters are elucidated.

산업용 수직펌프의 흡입성능 향상 연구 (A Study of NPSH Required Performance Improvement for a Industrial Vertical Pump)

  • In this paper, a study of performance improvement for a centrifugal vertical pump having specific speed of 330 is introduced. The existing model has high efficiency but needs better NPSH required performance. Such that new pump model is designed to obtain larger suction specific speed. 6 design parameters considered to affect pump performance are selected for impeller design. Key design parameters are investigated using by design of experiments and CFD, and impeller inlet diameter is increased to get better suction performance. The amount of inlet diameter increase is determined by using cavitation analysis. The results show that new design model has higher efficiency and better NPSH required performance than the existing model.

  • As information technology has a great impacts on contemporary business environment, global electronic trade is becoming a new paradigm in international trade transaction. The internet provides a fundamentally different environment for international marketing and trade, it also requires a different approach to international business. Now it is unrealistic to apply the same marketing strategies under global environment without making some modifications to be appropriate to the electronic edge. This paper attempts to investigate what kinds of factors influence the level of electronic trade utilization and performance, and suggests some strategies for usage of electronic trade for small-medium enterprises in Korea. According to the results of this research, the usage of electronic trade by small-medium enterprises is fundamentally important for the diffusion of electronic trade. Therefore it is suggested that the government needs to support small-medium enterprises by financing them to have system for electronic trade.

압출용 스크류 모델에서의 혼돈적 교반 (A numerical study on a chaotic stirring in a model for a single screw extruder)

  • Numerical study on the chaotic stirring of the screw extruder model proposed has been performed. The velocity field was used in obtaining the trajectories of passive particles for studying the stirring effect of the screw extruder. Two nonlinear dynamical tools, that are Poincare sections and Lyapunov exponents, were used in analysing the stirring effect. The Poincare sections and the Lyapunov exponents show that the stirring effect is most satisfactory, when n(the number of flights in a section) is 1, for the case a (aspect ratio ; flight height divided by the spacing between flights) being O.1. It is also required to set n=3, or 5 at a= 0.2, 0.3 for a uniform stirring.
