For feedback control of a linear dynamic system the optimum linear slace regulator (OLSR) can be implemented only if all state are available for feedback. This work demonstrates that when only the output state is available for feedback, a nonlinear controllers can be improved performance over that obtained by a proportional controller. This paper found the optimal control law by well-known dynamic programming and principles of optimality. Thus, performance of both proportional and nonlinear controllers is compared with performance of optimum linear state regulator.

The determination method of l-ephedrine and dl-methylephedrine by gas chromatography was developed, using reactive alkaline precolumn packed with celite 545 containing KOH. Symmetrical peaks were achieved under the condition, inlet temperature, $180^{\circ}C$-$230^{\circ}C$; column temperature, $180^{\circ}C$- $160^{\circ}C$; carrier gas flow rate, 30ml/minute. The peaks of the salts coincided with those of bases. When this method was applied to preparations, using d-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde as inner standard, good results were obtained. The relative retention times of l-ephedrine and dl-methylephedrine to p-dimethyl aminobenzaldehyde were 0.50 and 0.65 respectively.

어머니의 손맛이 예전 같지 않고 짜거나 맵거나 달다면 노년이 되었다는 결정적인 증거이다. 나이가 들어감에 따라 신체가 노화되고 미각 세포의 기능이 저하되어 맛에 대한 감각이 떨어졌기 때문이다. 미각이 떨어졌다는 것은 노년 건강을 위한 식탁관리가 되어야 한다는 말이기도 하다. 노년에는 영양상태가 건강상태를 좌우하는 결정적인 요인인데 노년이 되면 미각 저하는 물론, 식사와 직접적인 관련이 있는 장기 기관의 능력이 저하되어 올바른 영양상태를 유지하기 어렵게 되기 때문이다. 미각이 떨어진 노년기의 식탁관리에 대해서 알아본다.

20세기 초반까지 수혈을 받는 수술 환자가 아무리 수술이 잘 되어도 죽는 경우가 다반사였다. 이때까지만 해도 혈액형이라는 개념이 없어 혈액형에 무관하게 수혈이 이뤄졌기 때문이다. 한 마디로 재수 좋으면 같은 혈액형을 수혈 받고, 재수 없으면 다른 혈액형을 수혈 받는 로또식 수혈이었던 것이다. 로또식의 수혈에서 벗어나 수술의 성공확률을 획기적으로 높인 사람이 있었으니 그가 바로 ABO식 혈액형분류법을 개발한 카를 란트슈타이너(Karl Landsteiner)이다. ABO식 혈액형분류법의 발견은 오늘날까지 이어지고 있는 수혈요법의 틀을 구축했다는데 큰 의의가 있으며, 란트슈타이너는 이 혈액형분류법의 개발로 1930년 노벨의학상을 수상했다.
