A Study on Hull Form Development of Polyethylene Boat (폴리에틸렌 보트의 선형 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The Domestic boat has been manufactured by hull form of typical foreign boat. In this study, design environment for polyethylene boat is analysed to create new hull form of the boat and design elements are extracted from existing boats and consumer preferences. Key elements in polyethylene boat design are three words "semi-classic, urban and sporty". Hull resistance and engine power for new developed boat can be expected by Orca 3D program. This result indicates that engine power of the boat is much less than that of commercial boat.

  • 기계가공으로 인한 사고는 작업자에게 치명적인 경우가 많다. 이러한 사고는 완벽한 가공지그을 통해 대부분 예방이 가능하지만 제품설계초기 후가공과 양산 공정은 고려되지 않고 설계되어 기계가공 시 재해로 연결되는 경우가 빈번히 발생하고 있다. 사형주조법은 수작업으로 손쉽게 제품을 생산하는 장점을 가지는 반면 치수오차가 다른 양산공정 보다 크다는 단점을 가진다. 이런 사형 주조품을 기계 가공할 때 제품의 치수편차로 인해 불안전한 고정및 과다한 절삭, 제품이탈, 공구파손, 장비와 공구의 빠른 수명감소 등의 다양한 문제가 발생 하지만 사형주조의 특성상 개선하기 어려운 문제로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 원형의 용기형태의 제품을 사형주조 후 기계가공 하는 것을 금형으로 대체하기 위한 셸몰드법을 제시하고 셸몰드로 만든 셸주형으로 주조함으로서 표면조도 평균 $Ra9.94{\mu}m$의 기계가공에 준하는 표면을 구현하였다. 외형의 정밀한 제품을 대량 생산하여 가공공정의 간소화 및 평균 두께 편차를 줄임으로서 제품파손 및 제작 시 발생할 수 있는 안전사고예방에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 기계가공전 제품의 치수정밀도를 높여 안전성, 생산성향상, 가공 공정단축, 환경개선 등을 이 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • A valve used in a high temperature and pressure condition for high-speed vehicle application was developed for fuel supply and cooling system. For weight reduction purpose, the size outline of valve was optimized based on its performance and operating environment. And the rigidity design was adopted by minimizing uses of sealing parts to prevent leakages. Also, A fluid analysis was performed to derive the optimized internal flow path design in consideration of minimized pressure drop. Finally, the valve performance was verified by installing the valve into the test equipment which enable to simulate endothermic fuel of high temperature in high-speed vehicle.

  • Conceptual design and manufacturing scheme of a gas generator for 7 tonf class rocket engine were described. The combustion chamber pressure, O/F ratio, and total flow rate were decided to be 6 MPa, 0.321, and 1 kg/s respectively in consequence of the engine system design. Based on the parameters conceptual design of the gas generator was carried out and its outer dimension was about ${\Phi}100{\times}250mm$. Most parts of the gas generator to be jointed together by brazing or TIG welding and, if possible, the strength and leakproof tests are to be conducted in every step for checking the welding section.

  • This study is to examine how architecture is affected by music through practical examples of VEX house that designed based on music Vexations to suggest for engraftment potential and application of musical elements to architectural design based on the correlation between music and architecture. VEX house has been transformed with repetition and musical elements such as loops, erratic scales and harmonies. Also, apart from VEX house, the album 'Vex' was applied from architecture to music. That is, those are taking into account the results of the exchanges of different arts. Through the application of various musical elements in the construction process of the building, the potential of the new aesthetics of the building is considered.

  • A Spatial structure, having a curvature with a curved surface, is an extremely efficient mechanical creation considering the external load. It is resisted the out-of-plane direction load by in-plane forces using the structure's curvature. Spatial Structures include many types of structures, such as: space frames or grids; cable-and-strut and tensegrity; air-supported or air-inflated; self-erecting and deployable; cable net; tension membrane; lightweight geodesic domes; folded plates; and thin shells. Membrane structures, a kind of lightweight soft structural system, are used for spatial structures. It is very important that effects by wind load than seismic and dead load. And, wind load is different by surrounding and shape of building In this study, we analyze the results of design wind load and wind tunnel tests about the 2 stadiums which are constructed on sensitive sites by effect of wind loads.

  • In this study, scale-down design of full-scale Korean Utility Helicopter (KUH) main rotor blade has been investigated. The scaled model system were designed for the measurement of aerodynamic performance, tip vortex and noise source. For the purpose of considering the same aerodynamic loads, the Mach-scale method has been applied. The Mach-scaled model has the same tip Mach number, and it also has the same normalized frequencies. That is, the Mach-scaled model is analogous to full-scale model in the view point of aerodynamics and structural dynamics. Aerodynamic scale-down process could be completed just by adjusting scaling dimensions and increasing rotating speed. In the field of structural dynamics, design process could be finished by confirming the rotating frequencies of the designed blade with the stiffness and inertial properties distributions produced by sectional design. In this study, small-scaled blade sectional design were performed by applying domestic composite prepregs and structural dynamic characteristics of designed model has been investigated.

  • Nowadays, non-pollution energy sources have been strongly needed because of the exhaustion of fossil fuels and serious environmental problems. Because wind energy can be enormously obtained from natural atmosphere, this type of energy has lots of advantages in a economic and pollution point of view. This study has established the aerodynamic and structural design procedure of the rotor blade with an appropriate aerodynamic performance and structural strength for the 500㎾ medium class wind turbine system. The aerodynamic configuration of the rotor blade was determined by considering the wind condition in the typical local operation region, and based on this configuration aerodynamic performance analysis was performed. The rotor blade has the shell-spar structure based on glass/epoxy composite material and is composed of shank including metal joint parts and blade. Structural design was done by the developed design program in this study and structural analysis, for instance stress analysis, mode analysis and fatigue life estimation, was performed by the finite element method. As a result, a medium scale wind turbine rotor blade with starting characteristics of 4m/s wind speed, rated power of 500㎾ at 12m/s wind speed and over 20 years fatigue life has been designed.

  • 현대의 극심한 경쟁체제속에서 제조업체의 생존여부는, 얼마나 좋은제품을 신속히 시장에 출시하느냐에 달려있으며, 이러한 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해서는 제품개발에 관련된 각종정보의 부문간 공유 및 흐름의 제어가 그 성패의 관건이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 삼성전자의 제품개발과정에서 발생되는 모든 기술정보를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 체계를 확립하고, 이 체계를 System적으로 구현하여 각종 기술정보를 생성하고, 조회하는 개발자들의 현업에 이 System을 적용하고자 하는데 있다. 본 연구에 사용된 개발 Tool은 X-terminal과 HP EWS이었고, 실제 사용자들의 운용기종은 선진각국의 Server & Client추세에 따라, DB Server로는 HP9000/865S를 채택하고, Client로는 HP EWS, X-terminal, PC386등의 기종을 적용하였다. 또한 개발언어는 'C'language를 사용하였고 DBMS는 IBM MIS와의 연계를 위해, Oracle을 이용하였다. 본 연구의 결과로써 나타나는 효과는, 외형적으로 각종 기술정보의 공유로 인한 설계품질향상과 개발 납기 단축이라 할 수 있으며, 그 내면에 있는 개발관련 각종자료 및 업무의 표준화와 도면관리System의 개발 기술확보 또한 중요한 성과라 할 수 있다.

  • 국내 소비시장의 일부분인 재래시장은 현대화와 정보화로 인해 소비자가 감소함에 따라 시설개선, 홍보이벤트 등 외형적인 부분에 중점적으로 변화가 일어나고 있다. 하지만, 소비자들의 편리성을 고려한 서비스에 대해서는 그 대책이 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 재래시장의 활성화를 위하여 이기종 센서 및 RFID 태그를 통해 재래시장의 실시간 정보를 얻고, 이를 소비자 및 판매자의 정보와 함께 규칙/사례기반추론 방식을 이용하여 다양한 맞춤형 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 상황인식 기반의 u-CMIS(ubiquitous-Conventional Market Information System) 모델을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 u-CMIS 모델은 소비자가 재래시장을 효율적으로 이용할 수 있도록 기존의 온라인 마켓과 모바일 온라인마켓을 통해 언제 어디서나 실시간으로 재래시장의 정보 및 맞춤형 서비스를 제공받을 수 있으며, 이를 통해 소비시간을 단축하거나 물품을 저렴하게 구입할 수 있을 것이다.
