  • Installation of screen doors at platform ensures safety of passengers by separating platform from tracks. Besides, it reduces drought and air pressure caused by train conserves heating and cooling energy in the station. In order to guarantee safety of platform screen doors, design considering evaluation of wind pressure requires. In this study, Sosa station, semisealed screen door and EMU are analyzed to estimate the wind pressure of platform screen doors model. Also Sosa station is influenced by climatic condition because it exposed to outside. Therefore, analysis on the wind pressure of platform screen doors is performed under the worst weather condition such as typhoon. The results of analysis, Maximum inside pressure 287 Pa, and consideration of outside pressure as typhoon to the maximum design pressure of 865 Pa 2756.25 Pa conditions approximately 3.1 times the difference can be seen that ensure stability.

  • To the development of construction techniques and construction of glass-walled structure is generalized. Existing wall to support the role of the vertical load was lose. Features and the beautiful side of the curtain wall job was to be highlighted. Carriage access to the interior of the windows will cause pain in the neck with a cold feeling. And in the windows, drafty windows, under floor heating occurs despite the condensation phenomenon occurs. droplets that occurs around the window (the cause of the mold) in summer and winter, the heat energy and move through the glass is warmer outside. Therefore, to reduce energy efficiency affects absolutely. When you apply heat to the carriage window, the surface of the glass system, the spread of the cold air does not occur. Therefore, energy savings cars and heating of the interior is cold.

  • In spite of the importance of the natural ventilation pressure(NVP) in tunnels for the optimal design of the ventilation system, there have been only few studies on the NVP because its measurement and quantitative analysis are not straightforward. This study aims at quantifying the amount of the NVP with the terrain and meteorological data for the local major tunnels. And ultimately this will lead to developing the guidelines for quantifying and applying NVP for the optimal design of tunnel ventilation system. 22 local tunnels in the major routes are studied for the NVP quantification. NVP derived from the meteorological data is in the range of 20~140 Pa, while NVP estimated from the terrain data ranges from 20 to 200 Pa. Since the jet fan pressure is about 10~15 Pa per unit, the minimum level of NVP expected in the local tunnels is larger than the pressure rise by one unit of the ordinary jet fan. This implies that NVP in local tunnels should be quantified and be taken into consideration for the economic and safe ventilation design. The barometric pressure difference between tunnel portals is found to be the most influential factor, accounting for 61% of the NVP, while the wind pressure acting on the portals and the chimney effects occupy 22% and 17%, respectively.

  • Gusadang Kim, Nak-Haeng is a scholar of 18th century in Yeongnam region who wrote about 130 Chinese poems. In this study, I searched Gusadang's inner world by interpreting his Chinese poems. His life is closely related to his father Jesan Kim, Seong-Tak who was exiled. The fact that he devoted himself to his father for 10 years shows he had strong standards in making decisions in life. In short, Gusadang was a person who looked gentle but was tough inside and he remained firm in his faith even with outside pressure. He could not achieve glory because he spent time serving his father in his thirties. Although he heard compliments from others that he was talented enough to succeed as a scholar, he lacked time and mental energy to study. Also, he was a moralist and wrote some poems about impressive events in his life even though he did not fully devote himself to writing poems. In this study, I searched his inner world focusing on how he felt and thought about outside world by analyzing his poems. In conclusion, I found three characteristics from his poems. Firstly, depressed feelings are shown based on excessive self-consciousness in the poems related to his father. Secondly, his will to keep balance in life is shown because he wanted a harmonious life as a seeker after truth. Thirdly, a sense of isolation is shown because he had to keep a distance from outside world.
